BEST place to stay in Santorini if your on a budget. The owners are some of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Fast Wi-Fi and the A/C blows cold. The swimming pool area is very nice with umbrellas and tanning chairs. Great location and you can rent ATVs through the owners for 25€/day. Overall, we loved our stay at Pension Stella and would highly recommend it to anyone else!

They deserve their 5 stars. So clean, so helpful. Beautiful swimming pool. For the price, room are ok. I abused of kindness of the owner and never stopped smiling.

For the Price its ok we paid 30€/night, the pension is 15 minutes Walking to Fira. Bakery and supermarket really close.

George and Stella are so welcoming and helpful, they are so far the best hosts I encountered! The lodging is very close to the Fira-Kamari bus line and if you are a walker, the center of Fira is 20 mins by foot. Pension Stella is well located, there's a super market not far from the bus station and if you walk on the main street toward Fira. The rooms are not as luxury as the cave houses in Oia, but it is really cozy and it's a good bargain for the price. And it's definitely a plus that Pension Stella offers an airport pickup for a very decent price. My flight arrived late in Santorini and George gave me a ride. Just so you know, from the airport to Pension Stella in Karterados, taxi fare shouldn't be more than 18€ as I was told. It's a rip off if you are charged more than that. I definitely recommend this place if you want something good for your budget and to have a taste of authentic Greek hospitality. It was well equipped although the pool was in renovation in April.

This pension is the perfect place to stay, for people, who cant pay for all the expensive hotels (students etc. )
First of all, Georg and Stella is truly two of the nicest people we've met, in our many trips around the world
Second, if we needed anything (and I mean ANYTHING), should we just say the word, and they fixed it!
Their service was incredible high, the rooms where clean, and had an aircondition. Roomservice everyday, with new towels etc.
And the pension is located in walking distance to Fira (and if u tough, Oia)!
I would definitely recommend this pension!

My stay at Pension Stella was absolutely terrific. For the price, you won't get more value in your purchase when compared to other proprties on Santorini. George and Stella (the owners) are extremely kind and accomodating. George was always willing to drive us places around the island. When we wanted to rent 4-wheelers for the day, Stella arranged it so we didn't even have to do anything. It's only a 15 minute walk from Fira (the biggest town on the island) so the location is great too.

Great location, just a 15-minute walk from Fira and close to lots of great food and dessert location! Wonderful hospitality from George and Stella; they picked us up and drove us to the airport, which was very helpful since Santorini is not the most pedestrian-friendly island. They also cleaned our private room with fresh towels every day and offered to arrange ATV rentals and boat tours for us if we needed, making it very easy for us to do things on the island as visitors. Great price too! Would recommend and stay again if we return.

Great place to stay in Santorini! Right next to bus stop and about a 15 minute walk to Fira. George and his wife were absolutely darling. George picked us up at the airport at 3 AM and was so very helpful throughout the remainder of our trip. Very clean, quiet, and relaxing. The perfect place to stay in Santorini, would highly recommend!

George and Stella took better care of us than anyone else in Greece. These are amazing people and I am honored to have stayed at their hotel. They picked us up at the ferry and saved our friend's camera that was dropped off the cliffs by accident. They went out of their way to make sure our trip was perfect. I would recommend their hotel to ANYONE traveling to Santorini!

Nice location and really reasonable price for the room. Stella and Geroge are very kind and their breakfast with fruit yogurt is definitely worthy to taste! Thank them for everything done for us!

Stayed here a few years ago with some friends. The owners are fantastic and very helpful! We even spent a few nights drinking wine around the pool with the owners and other guests. We were all very happy with our stay here!

Amazing greek hospitality from George and stella. Very helpful!. Our room is spacious and is cleaned daily which is nice to come back to after a day out. The village karterados has everything you need close by. Bakery supermarket etc. It's only a 20 min walk into thira, which is absolutely stunning!. We will definitely be coming back here at some point with our 3 young boys. Very nice place.

George and Stella were the two nicest people, picking us up from the port and driving us places, helping us get the most out of our Santorini experience in every way! The room was very clean and the pool outside was beautiful! Good location — a short walk to Fira, the island's capital. Would definitely recommend to any Santorini travellers!

It's not a hotel but a home for guest. We loved it so much that we extended our stay due to George.
The hospitality is jus amazing and it's the best place to go if ur in Santorini… Rooms are very clean, Wifi is great and locations is do near to a bakery, super market and bars…
