Was decent. I wouldn’t say it’s the BEST sushi I’ve had for the price & quantity. Paid $100 for 3 rolls (4-6 pieces each). But then you don’t go to Greece to order sushi lol Staff:
The staff makes up the 1 star. I am very very disappointed in my stay because of the unfriendly & unfairness of the staff because maybe we weren’t some beautiful Instagram influencers. The lady in the front did not budge to greet us when she saw us waiting to check in with no other guests around. Until I walked up after waiting for a minute looking like a dumba$$, she finally said “yes? ”. The concierge Maria was very uninterested in showing us around the hotel and our room. “Here is the dining, over there is breakfast, here is lunch”. “Here is your room”. You can just tell in a persons tone and facial expressions. My advice: smile a little more and sound a little bit more enthusiastic that someone just paid $1500/night to stay at the famous Cavo Tagoo. Maria walked us to our room, walked us in and then nodded her head as she walked out after I said thank you. Since Maria didn’t show us how to turn on the lights in our room…we had to call to ask to find out that you have to put the room key in the slot by the door to turn on all the lights. Cool.

We stayed in this hotel in early October this year and wow it is beautiful. Most staff were extremely helpful, one or two occasionally rude however one staff member in particular made our stay amazing and for that reason we would definitely come back. Adda (sorry for the spelling) was fantastic, she went over and beyond to ensure our stay felt welcome and really was a wonderful lady who will go very far. The private transport into Mykonos town was a perfect touch and Flo was such a wonderful driver, giving the best recommendations of where to eat and go and visit. The hotel was beautiful, clean and flawless, the detailing in the concept is imbecile and really somewhere worth a visit. Thank you for our wonderful stay x.

Infinity pool, views of the Aegean Sea and Delos, sushi that’s as good as it gets. The service was friendly and professional, a great vibe across the hotel. This is a gem of a hotel, with attention to detail and innovation in its design. I liked everything and yes, it was reassuringly expensive. Many thanks to Nikos, the hotel’s legendary private driver who took us to the airport on time and was such a pleasure to talk to. They say you visit for the first time to see the view; and you return to see the friends you made. Until the next time!

Cavo Tagoo is beautiful. No doubt about it. The view is very nice and the infinity pools are a looker. My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. Enjoyed our time here a lot, but probably would not stay here again. Very trendy and relies on its cool factor. If you’re looking for a relaxing and romantic place to stay, I wouldn’t say Cavo is it. I am very glad the room we booked had it’s own pool, because the main pool gets very crowded and club like after like 1pm. We had a great experience with the gentleman at the concierge desk; who made great recommendations and suggestions on what to do. Also the shuttle to go into town was convenient. Overall the staff was very friendly and never felt unwelcomed. Unfortunately definitely felt more like just a number, when we checked in it was rushed and not very personal.

Awesome place with great personal. You get what you pay for. Don't come here if you don't want to spend money. We tried many things from the menu, everything was very good. The only negative thing was that they tried to rush us out to clear the table for next customer, so their service was super fast and we didn't enjoy the whole experience fully. Still, 5 star experience.

Nice and the modern day 5 star hotel in Greece to stay. The Hotel rooms are very spacious and does have all the modern day amenities for its guests to have wonderful experience, the restaurant has a great look, service to the guests is excellent. This hotel serves a variety of cuisines and also has SPA facilities for the visitors. A very luxurious hotel in the best location. Keep in mind that this hotel is very expensive.

This is the hotel when you come to Mykonos. Why? 1. It’s only 3 min from town.

3. Igor at the concierge desk will get you the best possible table at any restaurant. You just can’t do it yourself unless you know people. …
4. Super friendly bar staff under the care of Thanasis Argiris. Awesome guy!
5. The pool! What is that? Amazing!
6. The people that cater to you at the pool, like Konstantinos. Very cool people.
7. The view is breathtaking with sunsets daily.
8. Our room was amazing with infinity pool and beautiful view.
9. The food at their own restaurant along with the people. And their amazing breakfast spread! Wow!
10. Private cars when you want to go check other restaurants or beach clubs like Scorpios etc. They know how to have fun and make you part of it. We left with great memories and friends that we are still in touch with. We’ll definitely be going back to Cavo Tagoo.

I'm sitting this for the hotel's restaurant. It definitely is Up there with the best restaurants in Mykonos. The flavours are amazing, the service excellent and the setting beautiful. Highly recommended.

Such a shame! The team is highly rood and unhelpful! Was staying with this hotel for more than 10 years, unfortunately the management changed the service changed and even the good vibe. Totally last time that we'll stay here.

My review is for the hotel tagoo not the cava tagoo and was entered under the hotel tagoo. I can also see many other reviews here that are not about the cava tagoo. Just like hundreds of other people I keep coming back to this hotel. And I know they keep coming back because I keep bumping into people I know! I have never been to a hotel quite like this! It run a by a great family and, in the wonderful tradition of the Greek people, you soon become an extension of their family. And you come across people who could clearly afford to stay in the most expensive hotels on the island, but they prefer to stay here. What better recommendation could you have. Note: I do recommend that you read Robert Hunt's comments below about booking this hotel. There are a lot of "wannabee" Hotel Tagoo's out there. So I suggest you follow his advice if you don't want to be disappointed and find you are in the wrong hotel when you arrive! Johnny.

Pricey is an understatement, and no value for money whatsoever. Had a friend staying there in the honeymoon suite and for what he paid I was shocked as to what he received and how basic the room actually was. In another country you could rent a palace for that kinda money. The room service menu is so poor and the food was even worse. I don't know how this is a 5 star property. I think the name and the mere fact that celebs stay at this property give it a chance for people wanting to stay there but I would not personally stay there even if I had excess cash.
