What an absolute gem of a place!
I feel so lucky to have spent my time in Eressos staying at Studio Aspa. Ok, it’s a ten minute walk away from the beach but I was offered a pushbike upon my arrival as they were concerned it was too far. It’s only a ten minute walk down a quiet road. I was more than happy with the stroll, being greeted by the locals en route and admiring the scenery.
One night, when it was particularly windy, I asked if I could get a number for a taxi, instead Antoni insisted that I have a lift from him.
My apartment was spotless and cleaned every morning, fresh bedding every few days. I had everything that I could possibly need, including my own hammock!
On my first morning, I woke to find a plate of fresh figs on my porch for me to enjoy, the next day, Mama Aspa’s homemade cake.
There were so many wonderful offerings, too many to mention… although I feel Antoni’s homemade fig liquor is something to talk about as it almost blew my head off?!
I can honestly say that I was treated like royalty during my stay. Although they respected my privacy, I was always greeted at some point throughout the day, usually by Mama Aspa, to check that everything was ok.
These family run apartments are like being home away from home and I cannot recommend them enough!
