Great location. Downtown. Everything is within walking distance. Excellent staff excellent service, very good breakfast.

The Room that we got was the worst room in the hotel I think. The view was another building close to our window, and when I booked the room was way better. The bathroom smell bad, I couldn’t even take a shower. The had a party in the hotel, extremely loud, so I had no sleep untill 4AM, and the next day I had to drive 16 hours being tired from the laxk of sleep. The only thing that made me give you these 2 starts is the breakfast for whitch I paid. It was good.

(READ ALL) The food is absolutely delicious, although most of the food on the main course menu is not available. Overall the food is worth it and so are the drinks, however their sense of hygiene is poor, I lifted the bed sheet up to find nail clippings, hair and what seemed to look like a bogie stain, I wouldn't have been so angry about it if I wasn't using it much but it is where you sleep!

Rooms leave what to be desired. Tiny bathrooms with flooded floors each shower. If one needs a kosher restaurant it is the only one in Thessalonika. Also, Shabbat prayers and meals there and good proximity to Yad L'zikaron synagogue.

Convenient location in the city centre, clean rooms, friendly staff. Still, be aware of noisy nights, small bathrooms and too few electricity sockets (single room)

Despite natural predicaments (an unexpected flood never seen in Thessaloniki, fire alert, no electricity for some time, no water for two days in the city), the hotel employees kept doing their best, concerned and smiling.
They bought small lights to give us in the evening, toilets were emptied by hand (must not have been fun), they did what they could to give us breakfast and lunch as usual, and for the rest we bought bottles of water ourselves (showering with it, but it's o…nly several euros). Overall I was impressed by their reactivity and handling of the situation. It can always be more perfect, but their hands were full (they lost a lot, were struggling to fix the most urgent problems) and I don't find it fair to condemn them for anything. So thank you Astoria Thessaloniki. And good luck fixing what's left fixing.

That is the worse hotel experience for me ever. There was no electricity for a day and water for about 2 days; the staff did not move a finger to help the guests. Do not expect hospitality.

A good hotel, fairly central, clean, with more than dignified breakfast. Great value as it says quality-price. Very comfortable parking although a bit pricey for Greek standards. Beware of those in the reception quite clumsy.

I had a lovely 4 night stay here. The cleanliness of the rooms is at a high level. They serve a rich breakfast including greek and american. The location of the hotel is in the center of the city, so everything interesting to see is within a walking distance. I would like to give special thanks to the reception staff at the hotel for their friendliness, professionalism and helpfulness. During the last night at the hotel my phone dropped in the crack of the elevator door (I just don't have luck with phones:) ) and I thought that I should just say goodbye to my phone, but the first thing the next morning, I got my phone back (and it was working)! Thank you a lot! I highly recommend this hotel! ❤

A clean, quiet room in the city centre. Plenty of not expensive cafes. The hotel's restaurant with traditional European cuisine.

I stayed in Astoria hotel a few times during the last 2 years because my work booked me the room there. I have to say that if it was up to me I wouldn't book in Astoria at all. The staff is very polite & nice but… the rooms are not very clean, the shower is too small and not comfortable to take a shower there (and i'm a petite woman), towels were old and smelly, sometimes had smell of cigarettes in the rooms. You can book a specific room and they'll give you another and from all the rooms you will hear a loud noise day & night. The internet signal not good and you have to have separated code for each device which is not very comfortable especially if you come for business. Breakfast? skip it and save the money for nice breakfast outside on nikis st. On the other hand, the location is excellent for walking almost everywhere and there is a near by parking lot with a good price. Don't go to the one they recommend in Astoria.

Relatively nice hotel, but beds weren't comfortable, towels were scratchy, buffet was mediocre, and it was super hot in our room. We came in December so it was cool (ish) outside, but the staff said the central a/c can only be hot or cool and they had it on hot. They told me to just open the door, which we did, but traffic is extremely loud on the street. It was nearly impossible to sleep even with earplugs in.

Friendly atmosphere, very good breakfast, good cleaning service! Room could be nicer :) don't have their own parking and the parking nearby is very expensive!

No genuine fruit juice, some chemistry which should have the taste but is simply poor.

Bedroom was ok. Bathroom was a quiet small. It was so difficult to take a shower and breakfast it was not special. I think it could be better.

The room and bathroom was fine and clean. Just the shower was so and so… Taking the shower you wash all the bathroom! The breakfast was OK, nothing special…

The worst place to stay in Thessaloniki. Small beds, sound isolation the worst in the world. Than the stuff is a liars. On booking says you have free parking but that is a lie ofcourse, you will have to pay 15euros per night on private parking next to the hotel. From 1 to 10, 0!

Nice hotel in a good location but three star at best. The room was clean but had the smallest shower I have ever used or seen! Shower was literally 2 ft by 2 ft with the faucet taking up a third of the space which leaves you to wrestle with the curtain while trying to take your shower.

Located in the historic centre of Thessaloniki is a good hotel with affordable rates for everyone. Clean rooms are not very big but basic.

Great hotel for Thessaloniki standard! Average breakfast, ideal location to reach the center in 5 minutes.

It does not have a nice view, hot to die for I do not turn on air conditioning. Baby Cot Not acceptable! They don't have parking for cars. That to do much maintenance, the high price for the quality it offers. At least the staff very serious and polite…

We also tested this hotel as part of our preparations for the Greek tour. We can only recommend it. It's hard to get better! We are planning an association trip from the German Tour Guides Association to this house and look forward to the Greek hospitality.
