Honestly this hotel was so nice! Rooms were great and while you can’t flush toilet paper down the toilet, you can’t do this in anywhere where I have stayed in Greece. Staff are so friendly and always attentative. Went to them with an issue and they helped me out but don’t be rude to them and expect them not to be rude back. Found that the food was very varied and as a vegan there was still a lot of choice for me when other places have served nothing.

Have had an amazing ten days at this hotel. We asked to move from a double to a twin on arrival and they moved us immediately. We asked for a new shower and we got it. No problem for these guys. Staff always smiling despite working what seems long hours and most days. (here before us in the morning and leaving when we do at night) Taki on night shift and pool bar during the day is a dark horse with a look that says behave and a smile that says have fun.

I have been visiting tsilivi with my family for over 10 years and this was my first visit to the island alone. This is my second stay at abaton and it was just as wonderful as I remember. Viktor is a great host and is very friendly and helpful, he kept in constant contact with me and was always on hand if needed. The rooms here are absolutely beautiful. They are very spacious with lots of storage space and the beds are huge and very comfortable.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location for exploring tsilivi. Rooms are beautiful, modern and well equipped. Large comfortable bed with plenty of storage space and safe, fridge and air conditioning all included. The bathroom is beautiful with a great shower. Spotlessly clean. Great outside space with table and chairs and small grassy area. Viktor the host is wonderful, very friendly and can’t do enough for you.

Stayed last week in July. Great staff. Well looked after food is good, owner on reception every day. And he listened, we complained about noisy late returning guests and they dealt with it immediately.

Lovely hotel and very attentive staff. Clean and linen changed daily. Food not great in the evening and nothing to do for kids but this is changing to an adult only hotel in 2019

Clean rooms. Not to big but good service. We only had breakfast and we had enough choice with helpfull people.

This was great accommodation.
Perfect location for the beach and in the middle of the town and on the doorstep of bars and restaurants.
The staff you couldn’t fault, they behaved as if it was their own business. They couldn’t do enough for you and always so friendly.
We had a deluxe room which worked really well with our 6 year old because they had an area that could be separated with sliding doors.

A fantastic family run hotel set within a beautiful location with sea views to die for. The most friendliest staff who all work together as a great team. Fantastic food, an amazing Spa experience with myself and my daughter. And not forgetting downstairs at the very tranquil setting of Makai bar with the sea in front of you and the waves crashing in. Cannot recommend this hotel and this location enough. I could stay here all summer. Thankyou again for the most amazing 11 nights!

Good hotel friendly staff Anytime again.

What a beautiful hotel in a perfect location close to the airport and the beach, can't get better than that! From the moment we arrived the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The food was top notch with plenty of variety to suit most tastes. We were lucky enough to meet with TUI rep Scarlet who was so knowledgeable about the area and able to advise us on all the best places to visit. Fantastic holiday, I'd definitely come back.

We stayed here a few weeks ago. We had a swim up room on the ground floor. I won’t pay this extra again, it was in the shade from mid afternoon. Also, we didn’t feel we had any privacy. We were overlooked the seating area by the bar. The room was nice but tired looking. The beds very comfy and every day, they restock the fridge with coke and water.
The pools are quite a dark shade, not very inviting. We spent most of our time on the beach.

Just spent two weeks at these villas we had 2 next to each other my daughter was getting married so we wanted somewhere special to get ready these villas are beautiful everything you need for a special occasion Angelina who runs them goes above and beyond nothing to much trouble transport arranging lunch on the day always on call when you need her and pops round to make sure everything is fine.

My Husband and I have just spent the most wonderful two weeks at St John Suites. All the staff are helpful, professional and friendly. The suites are modern and spacious the king size bed is the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in on any holiday and the room is kept spotlessly clean with the sheets and towels changed daily by the friendly maid. The suites are very private and have superb panoramic views across the Ionian Sea towards Kefalonia and the the Greek mainland.

Only arrived today but we are very impressed so far-one of the nicest villas we have stayed in in Europe.
