Amazing boutique hotel a true reflection of Greek hospitality. Their restaurant Theo had delicious food which I enjoyed while looking out at views the Mediterranean Sea. Definitely recommend this hotel. I highly recommend staying here while in Crete.

A buddy and I stayed here for a week last month. The location is perfect. Close to the beach and real quiet. It's only a five minute ride to the harbor with a taxi. The food was superb in the restaurant below. Please try the pork chops they were the best. The staff is very friendly as well. Theo and his staff really treat you like family. A special shout out to the lady at the desk with those beautiful eyes. The day we left I forgot a bag of souvenirs in the parking lot. I called from the airport in a panic to see if I had left them there. Not only did she located my forgotten bag but she also put it in a taxi so I would get it before our flight left! Thank you so much guys for making our trip one to remember. I'll definitely be going back!

Very relaxed & great food we had a side room with balcony and sea views. Chania town can be walked to in about 20 minutes the Venetian harbour 30 or so. The restaurant for dinner/breakfast has been clean well managed with staff that do what ever is possible. I'd love to come back.

Price very exaggerated compared to the poor quality of the room and its bathroom, the bedding is correct, the restaurant room renovated tastefully.

The hotel is small and sweet. For 2 stars it meets all requirements, the rooms are small but sufficient. The atmosphere is very familiar. The rooms are cleaned daily and left in a great condition, so the ladies put a lot of effort into it.
Everything in one, for a 2 star hotel I was completely satisfied and all wishes were tried to be fulfilled.

Everything was perfect! Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Very great bedroom, clean and bright… the breakfast choice is very good and ample. Great location, near the beach, and there is an amazing view from the balcony. There is also a swimming pool and a pool with massaging water jets! I felt very good, it is worth to spend some days there. I really enjoyed it! I’ll be back there soon!

Very good staff, everything was fine. Breakfast was quite good. Dinner is very good, the price is about 15-20 euro per person. The only one minus is far location from town center, but beach is close and the best in Chania.

We have been here twice. Staff are amazing. 5 minute drive to the main city. Beaches are walking distance. Pool is being built. Local restaurant is quality. Also fresh Aloe Vera available.

A home away from home! In a quiet area with the friendliest staff, great view from room. An amasingRestaurant below and if your planning an excursion they accommodate you! Filotimo is their motto. Eventhough it is a few minutes from Chania it is very central! Highly recommend!

We have stayed twice now at The Alexis and came back for our honeymoon break because we enjoyed it so much. Small family run place with chilled atmosphere out of the main tourist areas so quiet. The Theodore resteraunt is great for a regaling meal in the evening and serves modern cretin dishes which are brilliant quality with really friendly staff who cannot do enough to help. Would happily return and recommend.

What a beautiful place to stay! The hotel is in a very peaceful area but still near to Chania. The rooms are simply furnished and spotlessly clean. We had a fabulous view of the sea. Theo is the perfect host and heads a very friendly team of efficient staff.
It is such good value and has an ambience missing from the big, impersonal hotels.

My dear ppl, if you come to Crete, this hotel have a wonderful place on the small hill, 15min from the most wonderful old city Chania. Is very close to airport (12km) and is on the same moment, enough faraway from the masive turist hotels& resorts. The few is great on the 2, 5km long send wild beach under the hotel! Pozition is perfect!
Hotel Alexis is small family hotel, so you can get warm family atmosfere. They will help you kinldy about all your quetions and turist wishes.

It's not really luxury but, it has everything you need x a rest holiday.

Nice city hotel with very locatated and helpful owner (Theo). Old city of Chania and City Beach within walking distance. The beaches on Akrotiri or Kalyves are nice but, a rental car is therefore recommended. The hotel itself is functional and has a nice lateral sea view, but unfortunately very thin. The closing mechanism of the doors is slightly tricky and causes that constantly, even at night, the doors slam. The restaurant offers exceptionally good Greek cuisine at fair prices; Ago is but a bit uncomfortable set up all the chairs are too low, stable and free Wi-Fi. All in all highly recommended. Very good price-performance ratio.
