Small simple hotel with a personal touch and located directly by the sea. We enjoyed breakfast by the sea very much. The friendly staff is helpful.

So to starters, the Palm Beach Hotel doesn't have a pool or beach. The beautiful garden leads to a wooden terrace from which a jetty with stairs leads into the water. September 2017. The terrace is perfect for yoga and meditation in the morning. When we were there, the groh of the guests were in the 50 + area.
This quiet and simple hotel offers breakfast and a delicious 3-course dinner. What is a pity is that the small bar is not operated. With the nice but few, staff only comes a rudimentary service. Class was that guests helped clear it.
The guided tours from the owner to the mountains of Crete were really positively exceptional. At any time again on the roof of one of the buildings is a small ornate chapel with beautiful views. What was a pity was that the beautiful buildings and rooms were kept in a little loveless.

We were there in June 2017 with the parents who are already around 70. Because of Father's dementia, we had chosen an expliziet a small hotel so that he could orient himself more quickly. The hotel is super located. From the entrance hall we go to a terrace and from there a few steps (about 10) down to the pool, with beach bar and garden. There you can use the loungers free of charge. Enough palm trees and parasols are available for shade and you can see directly out to sea, which is then two meters of sandy beach.
The loungers on the beach cost 5 euros per deck (2 loungers, one umbrella) but we didn't need them.
The beach of Stalis, like many in Crete, is rocky, but only for the first two meters, after which awaits a sand and crystal clear water, you can run out long because it does not drop low, and also snorkelers get their money's worth because of the many rocks.
The staff is super friendly, the rooms simple but clean. You can choose between HP and AI, we had AI. There were the usual local drinks (soft drinks, beer, wine, raki, ouzo) that was enough.
The food wasn't too lush, besides salads getting as 6 — 7 other dishes, from the caterer, but we got fed up. The upside was, we didn't overeat ourselves.
As an additional candy, the town right on the doorstep was who wanted variety is just out, for shopping, for other restaurants or wellness, which is also offered there.

Palm Beach Resort is a very manicured and beautiful property in Georgoupolis. Nothing here really, nothing noise nothing. That was so great.
We can recommend this hotel unconditionally. Also for families with children. In the hotel, a lot of emphasis is placed on the way in which children are given. Every evening, children's entertainment takes place on the terrace of the main bar until late at night. For the people who want/moögen you can sit at the beach bar in peace and consume your ouzo. The food is rich and in an above-average quality. I would compare the quality with the Aida food. So almost no longer topping.
Every evening there are frisch gyros cut off from the skewer in the "beach restaurant. "
The pools are cleaned and checked every morning. The staff is totally nice. The reception speaks completely German. The waiters English.
And the best, from the hotel to the beach, is just a few steps away. The beach section belongs to the hotel and is 2 DLRG people secured during the day, just as at the main pool 1 DLRG man from morning 10:00 — 18:00 is on site. There is also a children's water fun area with a octopus that spews water & W.
In the hotel there is a supermarket that sells all the necessary things such as water, cigarettes and S. W. An EC card payment is also possible there.

Nice quiet hotel, away from the tourist hustle and bustle. Dear staff that fulfills many wishes when you ask.
