Fantastic location for a relaxing laid back holiday. Total switch off place kick off your shoes and relax. Family who run the Sissi Mare are very warm friendly and welcoming. Nothing is a bother. Rooms are excellent, spacious light and airy. Cleaned on a very regular basis. What's not to like.

Outstanding holiday. Sophie, leftie n Micheal welcomed my family n made us feel really welcome. The family can’t do enough for their guests n many of them return year after year.
We arrived late n leftie was there and showed us to our apartment. What a view. We had room 117 which had a double balcony overlooking the ocean. I spent every morning with my coffee there. You just don’t get fed up of the view. The apartment has air con, hairdryer and toaster really everything you need. The apartments was very spacious.
The apartments are cleaned daily by a really nice lady who has worked for many years for the family. The pool is salt watered which I have never used before but it was fine. Leftie cleans this regularly. There is a bar in the apartments which also serves ice creams, which at 1 euro means the kid n parents are happy. There is everything you need on your door step eg. Supermarket, bars, restaurants etc.
The apartments are situated 2 mins walk from the tiny fishing village Sissi which is the most perfect relaxing place I have visited.
I can’t recommend Sissi Mare apartments enough. If you want a family run typically Greek apartments in a perfect relaxing typically Cretan village, then this is the place for you. My family will definitely be returning.
