I have only been here one night so far, but I would like to extend kudos to the hotel staff, both at the front desk and the manager I believe who extended great patience with me while I experienced personal difficulties at check-in. Once all was sorted and I got to my room, I was very pleased to find a comfortable room that seemed to lack nothing, had comfortable bedding, a large closet with multiple hangers and full size side by side front mirrors, a larger than usual suitcase stand with bottom shelf, a huge window, a table and two chairs, multiple lighting fixtures, convenient USB plug ins, a spacious bathroom with a large sink area and a hair dryer, and a desk and chair with a safe underneath. And excellent air conditioning. I only glimpsed the pool area at night but although on the small side and directly aside to the bar and restaurant, it is accompanied by large and comfortable looking lounge chairs. I am very impressed and look forward to the rest of my week here.

The hotel is big and offers big and very clean rooms. There's also a pool on the top floor and breakfast is quite good (although not the best I ever tried at a hotel). However, people at the reception are in general quite rude. I've been always asked to show my keys before getting any answer to my questions and I saw a guest being checked at the entrance just because he was black (we were entering the hotel at the same time). So, I give only 3 stars due to the unwelcoming staff. The place otherwise is very good.

One word for these guys… CRIMINALS … please avoid this hotel like the plague! I am travelling here with my hotel prepaid on a voucher, however when I checked in the manager was adamant that I had to pay for the room. Despite my disagreement and following a long conversation with the travel company he gave me an ultimatum, pay or get out. That was last night, when I returned from my travels today and following many conversations with my travel company, I was met with the same ultimatum! Pay or get out. Do I have had to pay twice for a decidedly average hotel. This has ruined my trip to Athens, I have never had such an experience. Incidentally whilst I was waiting to be seen by reception staff, I overheard another gentleman having an argument with the same manager. What a vile creature! Preying on vulnerable tourists visiting a city where their mother tongue is not spoken, and being very rude and faceciius whilst doing it!

Average hotel and disappointing breakfast with no real fruit juice and no yogurt.

The bar on the top floor of the hotel is a very good choice for a drink in a relaxing and cosy atmosphere. It has a spectacular view of Athens, and of course you can sit to the tables next to the swimming pool. The cocktail range is nothing extraordinary, but they are very good and at very affordable prices.

I worked in the hotel industry for years. We stayed for a class field trip with 6th grades. The worst service I have ever had. They had us waiting out in the sun for 20 minutes before we could go in. The people that greeted us were rude and very unfriendly. I had twisted my ankle and asked for some ice. They brought me a small bag of ice which they charged 1.50. Who has ever heard of charging for ice. The towels had holes in them. Because they had other groups, they ran out of breakfast items. The worst food I have ever had. Hospital food tests a lot better. And after all that this hotel is rated with 4 stars, it is a shame. 3 stars and that is even a lot…

Friendly staff, especially in the maids of floor, very attentive and sympathetic to any request. Beautiful halls and common areas. Breakfast buffet very rich and varied.
To improve: rooms, they are a little old, they are not in the tonic of the common areas.

Rude staff, dirty room with broken toilet for over 12 hours. Sheets weren't washed and bath tub was filthy. Safe to say we left early and found somewhere better as the staff were unhelpful.

The hotel was very classy and the room was perfect.
In the surroundings it is easy to find locals both for evening entertainment and to eat something in the daytime.
Central location and Metro station about 10 minutes walk.

Insanely chaotic with school groups. Very very popular hotel. Not that close to metro with luggage difficult. Staff was great. Nice beds… carpet … hand held shower was like power washing your body… extreme pressure. Breakfast was great but very busy.

It's a very elegant hotel. All clean. Spacious. The buffet I did not like and sometimes they are not very friendly. Check-in is at 14:00 pm.

Only recommendation: Do not take room near the top floor (20), you will hear a lot of noise from elevators.

The hotel was reasonable price-wise. The rooms were small and the one we requested wasnon-smoking hut they gave us one that totally smelled of cigarette masked heavily with air freshener. Breakfast okay was good, not great but not bad either. No free internet. Liked the views from the rooftop where tge pool and bar is also located.

Initially got a very small room with the air conditioner cooling too slow. Then requested for a larger room which was better and way more comfy. Stayed at the same hotel 20 years back and not much has changed. Loved the hotel breakfast buffet, restaurant meals, pool and their helpful staff. Even the hotel location is perfect for grocery stops, plenty of pharmacies, coffee shops and salons around the place.

Not a good experience. Check in staff were constantly being interrupted by other workers. Took forever to check in. Gave me the wrong room despite numerous requests before I arrived. Front desk didn’t care or even ask. I asked to speak to a manger but there were none on duty. Seriously? Nomanagers on duty on a busy night? The woman who checked us in didn’t even seem to know how to do it. Room had no balcony which I requested and no double bed which I requested. Bad experience and amateur hotel.

Not worth it, the rooms are not those of a 4 star hotel. The breakfast starts late and the restaurant charges you $300 Argentinians a plate of pasta.

Very bad for its price. Just a good looking reception. All the rest of hotel its very basic.

We didn't get hurt. Hotel and in a good location near the metro and in a busy street. The interior of the hotel is very elegant, nice the room area or the garden restaurant with pool and with a beautiful view of the city. Great breakfast in the morning with good choice. At the reception the Italian language is scarce. Anyway we managed to get the room changed by going to that smoker in 30 minutes! The bedroom and furnished the right. The beds a bit soft we found them. The façade of the hotel to see looks more like a building of popular houses (better if they change color). Beautiful Athens!

Atmosphere a bit decadent but overall a good hotel. Beautiful terrace overlooking the city.

It's a very noisy place. If the windows of your room overlook the road, forget about a quiet dream. There is no old soundproofing window. On the road near the hotel, there is a metal patch on which, if you drive, emits a shock effect, heard on the whole area. Confused system with elevators, logistics are unclear. 6 lifts, but 3 go to even floors, and 3 on odd. If a group moves out and lives on your floor, in fact, 3 elevators. The breakfast food is good. The beds are small. The rooms are spacious, though there is no ventilation, it doesn't work. Well, in general, 3 stars, even a little much.

Hotel stayed in its juice at the room level. Restaurant and view on the 21st floor beautiful. Finally the Wi-Fi is free in the rooms. Very expensive private Parking 7, €5 for one night and the same for breakfast €12

Room prices are decent. The pool bar on the top floor is amazing. However rooms needs to be improved.

The hotel though 4 stars but in the room there is not even water… And there is no service…

It's a decent hotel with very average service. The selling point is the pool and bar on the 21st floor, besides that there isn't much to write home about. The rooms themselves are worn and dated and do not fit the 4 star claim. Some cleanliness issues also surfaced (full ashtrays in hallways). Otherwise a pleasant stay close to the city proper with close access to the metro. Stay away from the overpriced hotel restaurant for lunch or dinner though. The breakfasts are ok.

The hotel is in a nice area. But very far from the center the rooms very old ugly and dirty.

Very bad, expensive and poor attention. Many tour groups that arrive at the same time and bother a lot. Nice pool and terrace, spacious rooms.

I do not check 5 stars because on some things are not excellent. The rooftop terrace with pool and restaurant bar instead is definitely supersonic on the 17th floor with a view at 360 degrees on Athens! The rooms are nice but the bar fridge is empty, towels only 1 for hands and 1 for shower. The bathroom was very small. Friendly staff But some waitresses a bit inexperienced. Environment with ethnic décor. I booked online and the price was still good!

Hotel staff and service is great and is clean. Only problem is the decor in lobby and restaurant area. Instead of walking into a hotel in Greece, I felt like I was walking into a hotel in China. I would prefer the greek experience when in Greece. They do book a very large amount of Asians. I guess money talks.

A few days ago I was in the Hotel President of Athens as a component of a group of Spaniards, with full board.
The truth is that it has been an unpleasant stay for several reasons: • The most serious for me has been the very bad EXTERIOR soundproofing of the rooms. You can't sleep because of the outer ring. I have been on the 1st floor and on the 12th and the situation is the same.
• Do not open electronic door keys • One day, they did not make the beds. They just threw the quilt over, and they didn't even mulleron the pillows.
• They didn't leave us a locker room, for a little hour.
• Do not put hand towels for all people in the room, or floor mat to get out of the shower.
• The safe does not work, or the written procedure is erroneous. Checked by several of the components of the group, and by me in several rooms.
• Dinner tables, in our case, were placed just down the stairs to the dining room, with people passing through and in view of the rest of travelers who went to the elevators.
• You are charged €6 for a beer in the dining room. An authentic scam.
• Bad manners of the canteen in charge, when dealing with the Spaniards.

Very nice and I can only recommend.

This hotel had a nice breakfast and clean rooms. Staff was also helpful. The pool closes at 7. Wonderful bakery across the street!

The hotel is very old. The room was decorated last 20 years ago, I guess, and even though we were staying at 19th floor we could still hear all the traffic noise and the children playing in the school nearby. The bathroom looked very outdated and not very well maintained with no ventilation. The breakfast was plentiful but very limited in terms of food selection and the quality of food wasn't the best. Not to mention that they are not providing free Wi-Fi in the rooms. You would have to pay 18 euro for 2 days on 2 devices for this service which seems really weird in 2017. The only plus side is the roof top bar which looks really really good. Overall, 4 out of 10.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The lobby and the restaurant terrace are beautiful. On the other hand the room needs an update and the windows need to be washed.
The staff is courteous. The lunch box for the early departure… It's just anything. Craqielin bar and cookies filled with "apples" bcp too sweet.

Rooms are dated, location is a bit away from the centre, tube is 8 minutes walk from the hotel and 5 stops from Acropolis. However, the price was low as well. On the other hand, it has a nice rooftop bar and a swimming pool. Decent breakfast (enough varieties for vegetarians).

It is not a hotel but a factory to accomodate, long tail to wait for the elevator occupied by groups, tail for breakfast in the basement, so without window.
Bad reception and no towel when arriving in the room.

Good location not too far from the subway, nice rooftop pool and copious breakfast. The room was very bad.

The bad stuff: 1. The room fridge wouldn't cool anything, even when its 42°C outside and you need some cold water. 2. The side light in the room was hanging broken but it worked. 3. We paid around 90€ the night and we didn't get to use the pool because there weren't nearly enough chaiz-longs for everyone, since there were people from outside the hotel using it. The thing is the stuff didn't allow us to even leave our stuff somewhere around to just take a dive and leave, which forced us, who have paid for the pool, to leave. The good stuff: 1. Great for the disabled. The bathroom has all the facilities. 2. The stuff in the reception were very polite. 3. The breakfast was good.

The service in the hotel is rude and unprofessional. I recommend this only for PATIENT PEOPLE WHO LIKE TO SPEND OVER HOUR IN RECEPTION! Beside lobby looks ok, but rooms are unchanged since '80s! The cleaning lady is going inside the room without even knocking the door! I don't know who gave 4 stars to this hotel — form my point of view it should have maximum 2.

Well located hotel with a rooftop pool. Nice rooms and very comfortable beds. Wi — Fi is free in the rooms but free in the hotel lobby. My room was equipped with a TV with CRT, which is a real bad taste in a hotel of this category. The breakfast is very expensive € 18 for a buffet but you are what eat you nearby.

Awful hotel+restaurant. They are organizing the worst new year's eve.

I don't think its a 4 star hotel, but the price was very very good.

Nice room with good beds. Pool area on 21st floor is great. Breakfast was also good, however slightly crowded and not so easy to find a clean table one morning. Quite a long walk to the Metro, but getting to the centre was easy.

Although breakfast could be better, the hotel in general is nice. I've stayed there repeatedly and will definitely choose it again. And, I'll disagree with the person who says that they don't give body soap e. T. C. There are always shampoos and shower gels, together with clothes repair sewing set, and shoe polish set. No dental set, but. Let's get real. Who can rely on that? Nice view from the windows, elegant refurbished rooms, spacious too.
