Small cozy hotel in Kolonaki. Very helpful and friendly staff, modern design, nice food, especially croissants.

The hotel is quite good! Here you can see the real Athens is! The waiters are very good, allowing you a more intimate feel the love!

Love this little gem in the heart of town with great view from the roof top.

I stayed at this hotel for a conference in June 2018 and had a great time. The beds are really comfortable, the staff friendly, and the food great! The best thing was the lounge. They had free beverages for those staying in the hotel which is just what you need after a hot day of sight-seeing. Breakfast was great as well.

Great location, pleasant service, open snacks alp day long. The penthouse is super cool with a private deck and jaccuzzi outdoors. Service can be more luxurious though.

I stayed at Periscope twice in the fall of '17. It's part of SPG under the design collection (big portfolio of properties in Athens for some reason). It's a beautiful hotel with unique, modern design and pleasant staff. With my SPG level and a small fee, I was able to bump into their top floor suite for my last night. The suite is a two floor unit with a massive wooden terrace and a second level with a private jacuzzi and views of the Acropolis. Easily one of my favorite hotel rooms in Europe. On the ground floor, they have a lounge area with comfortable seating, overhead LED screens of people swimming, and free food for guests. The check in agent apologized that there was no mini bar and said that they used this communal food option as an alternative. IMO if anything, it's a selling point. The lounge combines the best of a hostel space with a premium executive lounge for all guests (but you still have a beautiful private space that's your own). I've only been to Athens a few times, but the location was fine for me and it was easy enough to get an Uber on the street for a quick trip to any of the tourist attractions.

Convenient location near downtown Athens. There is also a 24/7 mini snack bar area in which guests can take any amount of drinks or snacks that they want during the stay. Highly recommend!

Small enough to be intimate. Great location with everything within walking distance; shopping, eating, and more.
Athens has a fixed 38€ price for taxi from airport to city center; the Periscope.
Clean rooms and facilities. All day eats in the lobby.

This hotel is honestly very very cool. Rooms are extremely nice and — although slightly small — very comfortable. There is a 24/7 free buffet with drinks and sweets that almost killed me! I had way too much stuff :D Breakfast is a bit limited but super good. They cook eggs on the spot basically any way you want. Only real downside is that me and my colleague found the overall temperature in the rooms too high and very difficult to get it down. But that is true for most of the country, to be honest. All in all: wonderful experience!

Great small boutique hotel in a nice neighborhood in Athens with lots of shopping and restaurants and about 5 min drive from the Acropolis. Very friendly and helpful staff with modern and spacious rooms. They also have a free snack bar with drinks available for guests to just help themselves. I would stay there again.

I loved the breakfasts and the proximity to locals who are in the same mindset as my own. Kolonaki has limited Hotels because of council heritage restrictions. This one is one of the most unassuming yet a gem!

Fantastic lounge! Great service, super location. Yes the rooms are small, but the pluses far outweigh this. Great soft beds. Excellent air conditioning, superb water pressure! Biggest downside is that its on a hill.

A very cosy and cool hotel in the uptown area in Athens, great rooms and huge balcony. Area is quiet and the staff at Periscobe are some of the sweetest people.

The hotel was in a great area and the staff were very helpful.

Very very friendly service. But even the superior rooms are thiny and the maintenance of the facility's could be better. Looks a bit that the best times are over.

The hotel is an overpriced accommodation with little to no available services and a extremely small rooms (even for Paris or London standards), The photographs from the web site are misleading to say the least. Although it was advertised as an "Athens Marathon Hotel", friendly to runners visiting the city for its annual Marathon run, it did absolutely nothing to honour its promises. The restaurant did not offer dinner and instead of an early breakfast to accommodate the runners needs (as was prominently advertised in all relevant web sites) it offered a so called "breakfast box". This was a real joke, consisting of a small cold cheese sandwich and a miserable pear. No coffee, no drink, no milk. We had to beg to the rather bored receptionist that we need some coffee, only to give us access to the coffee machine. But the most outrageous issue was the orchestrated and unapologetic response to all our complains, a reiteration of the lame excuse "this is our policy and there is nothing we can do". I wonder if anybody will reply at least to this comment. Nobody did in my previous one.

Absolutely terrific experience. The staff couldn't be more gracious and friendly. We stayed in the penthouse room which had a beautiful view from its outdoor hot-tub. Highly recommend this high-design boutique hotel.
