Salad was waiting 40 minutes, fish wasnt cooked well.

Must be one of the best hotels in Africa. The room was clean, good size, excellent bed, easy to operate air condition, and the decoration and interior was very comfortable. The staff are smiling, polite and helpful.

Always have a pleasant stay there while on business trips. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Rooms, toilets, reception, restaurant, bar and pool area always neat and tidy! The menu is great and well prepared. Walking distance from the beach. Wifi and recreational facilities are in good order. Doing an excellent job team Takoradi!

Hotel is decent some staff members are stupid. Check in girl started flexing from moment she saw me (am also female btw) then she called me out that I had not paid for my room (a few hours later) in front of her colleagues. Although I showed her the proof of my payment she still insisted and after her colleagues had left she admitted I had paid. I guess she's in a 1 sided competition with me. Hotel is clean and quiet.

Rooms are OK, AC is efficient but the breakfast is not satisfactory.

This a wonderful place for a weekend getaway. Hotel staff are courteous and make you feel at home. Has a lovely environment.

For me the 5 stars go to the staff and management of the hotel. The finishing in the rooms presents a luxurious feeling to remember. My personal favorite is the view of the pool at night.

The best hotel to lodge If you’re lookin for quite and clean environment, it about 200m to the beach and not far from the city, great respectful staff and awesome food. Swimming pool is very clean and room was very spacious.

I have used the Protea hotel twice. Great facilities and service. A great place if you want some quite or a hideout.

My favorite hotel in Takoradi. Good place ti stay. Food is quite good, although breakfast do not have many choices on menu. Rooms are very good design, quiet and spacious. Hotel is located in quiet area, however access road is very poor. Beach is walking diatance from hotel.

We had lunch there and we enjoyed it. Customers can pay to access the pool. We did not use it. Customer service was excellent. I would recommend.

Customer satisfaction is paramount and key to this facility. Great multiple choice art he facility fitting one's interest and pocket too. Exquisite arenas to give customers that perfect relaxation spot. Its all about the customer and it was highly achieved in the skilled personnel, great façade and everything a customer will need to feel home away from home. The facility deserves a repeat visit any time you in town n need that very facility to see to every detail of your needs.

Nice structure. The rooms give an idea of cleanliness while the supplies leave a lot to be desired. Poor kitchen x Italian levels. The service at the restaurant is professional r efficient when carried out by some men while some women should be fired in the trunk for ways to present themselves to the client, due to the lack of service and the rudeness.

Very very nice place, superb environment, classy hotel with descent nice personal, this is place in western region can compare to Mach Atlantis hotel for about 98.97% qualities interns of classy. I recommend every 1 to go there experience it personal to believe.

Awesome rooms and view. Limited menu to choose from. Breakfast is one way with same dishes and kitchen closes early and that means no access to the pool as the lights will be put off once the kitchen closes. Good Wi-Fi but cell service is not stable.

Poor air conditioning in the rooms. We were moved from room to room because of the poor airconditioning. But all the rooms we moved to were extremely hot. We had to carry our bags to the 2nd floor. Workers didnt seem to care. They were just interested in taking the hotel fees.

My first visit to this hotel about eight months ago would have earned it a five star rating. This trip has revealed that complacency sets in and the general attitude of the people that deliver user experience has somewhat of slackened. Air-conditioning on 3rd floor has a problem which meant a rather uncomfortable night. Gym was poorly serviced and not secure. Water fountain in gym only had 2 plastic cups that were used. All towels in gym were used and it had a very stale smell and feel. Breakfast buffet at 10am was almost dregs… Needed replenishment and freshening up. Rather disappointing to see a Marriott hotel descend like this.

Pretty nice hotel for a stay in Takoradi. Nice views off the coastline. The staff was very friendly and helpful during my stay. Because it's newer it's a little hard to find (or ask for directions) if you already haven't mapped your trip out.
