➜ We wanted to spend our 19th wedding anniversary on the Baltic Sea again and the Lübeck crown was our eye. Upon entering the house you already feel like a guest of the Ganswindt family. Bright, friendly, furnished with loving details, there is hospitality and dedication in every centimetre. I felt transported to another century, but with a lot of modern amenities.
The rooms large, bright, the bathroom very noble and the beds like at home 🙂. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. The location very central.
We will come back again for sure!

We stayed here for 2 nights in december, and we enjoyed this quirky hotel. It was different from everything else we've tried before. Our room was very spacious with both a small hallway, a big bedroom and a huge bathroom with a nice tub. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and is very true to the style of the old building. The host couple were very nice and welcoming, and they told us about the history of the place while showing us to our room. The breakfast was okay, but maybe we had expected something out of the ordinary because of the surroundings. Only complaint would be that the hotel was rather cold and drafty. Thats life in old buildings. The sleeping comfort was good. There is only a 10 minute walk from the hotel to the town centre, so don't let the location of the place scare you off. Close to the hotel you will find the "Sudden Death Brewery", and it is absolutely worth a visit.
