Very good price performance ratio nice and courteous staff the rooms are very clean and the cleaners pretty to look at Here make every effort to satisfy the guest. We will come back. But as is the case in Thuringia, many construction sites and diversions must always be during the holidays? Since many hotels have to deal with failures I can imagine this is very pity.

The dinner was very well put together, varied and very well prepared — a nice ending after a nice day.
The hotel has a very good location and is the ideal starting place for excursions to the region. Ideal for hikers and cyclists.
Due to the good transport connections, motorbike tours and exploration trips by car can also be planned well.
If you want to experience the Thuringian Forest region, the Schlossberghotel is the place to be.

Breakfast very rich. Plenty of choice from bread to croissant to two types of scrambled eggs to fruit, cakes and pancakes.

Nice hotel. Nice room. You will be greeted very nicely. Breakfast is very good. Good choice for dinner. Spa area very nice, unfortunately the includes is a bit small. All in all worth a trip.

The stay was fine but there was no fridge in the room and it not even very spacious. Heater was even not working in the middle of the night. Overall, good experience if these things get improve it will be much better.

We booked the package Fun & Wellness in a comfort room including 3 course meal. Where should I start? We were greeted with kindness, at the sight of our room the joy did not last long. The room was very spartan — with furniture that has had the best years. A spotty couch (and PVC floor). The bathroom was ok, apart from the dirty toilet.
We objected to the room, but the hotel was fully booked except for a large family room, which was at least a little better. Both rooms, by the way, were located in the adjoining house "Sonnenmogel. " Unfortunately, we don't know how the other rooms are in comparison. Maybe we were just unlucky, because we were very surprised by the mostly good reviews. Next point of criticism was the 3-course meal in the evening. The food was okay at best and was more reminiscent of canteen dinners. If you want to eat at the Asia restaurant, you should register it early (preferably a week before we were told). The breakfast buffet is acceptable if you refrap from the fermented fruit salad. This was also exchanged directly after a discreet note. The staff were very friendly and anxious.
I also thought it was a pity that there were no bathrobes, although this should be standard with a wellness package.
Overall, we cannot recommend the hotel.

It was a beautiful extended weekend. We recovered and drove home happy and come back next year. We were warmly received. The food was delicious. The always good mood was there for us at all times. The sauna is ok but needs some affection and fresh air.
The hotel is highly recommended. Keep it up!

We had booked the fun & wellness weekend and were satisfied around. Of course, there are always some small things (for example, the food was once quite salty), but this definitely has the general satisfaction that was produced by the cleanliness, the very friendly staff and the very attentive cleaners. Not harmed. We will definitely come back more than once.

2 families with 3 children 2x 6 years 1x 11 months and half Board. We were very satisfied. All of the staff and the owner of the hotel were friendly and helpful, the rooms and Hotel are clean. Food was very good, rich Breakfast. But it is not a Hotel for children, although they are very nice to our goods. It is missing a games room or similar where the children employ something could.

A very nice, well maintained Hotel with very friendly staff and the food. Plentiful and very good. The Hotel has many small Lounges where you can spend cosy hours. Very good price-performance ratio. We can only recommend.

We had booked a weekend special (from winters, 2 x breakfast and dinner incl. Drinks for 119 Euro p. P. ) The food was a disaster and the service worse, repeated us really all last night. (Took a) almost 2hrs until we as an entrée that then got b) was not the one described and c) totally appalling to tasted and was cold. The then ordered had a chip that a gammelig tasting parsley leaf on top of it was inedible. My feedback to the user that I now as (7 month pregnant) after 2 h wait still hunger have had no impact on an any offer from the kitchen. You apologized but the next day at the reception, showed any concessions. To the rooms is to say that they are ok, the mattresses bath well, however, so small that you hardly get fit as a pregnant woman. The price is definitely not justified.

Good Hotel in very good location. Food is very good. Indoor swimming pool and relaxation zone top. My room is great. I can only recommend.
