lovely room
very quiet and peaceful.

Centrally located for excursions in and around Eisenach. The service is friendly that breakfast buffet is plentiful. The hotel is clean and tidy.

A traditional house that has gone through economically arduous times.
A beautiful and cosy old building and a modern new building characterize the external appearance. The young operators are committed and run the house decently.
I recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a hotel bed or just wants to go out for dinner.

Der Speiseraum ist sehr urig gehalten und gemütlich, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Die Auswahl am Buffet ist zwar übersichtlich, aber dennoch schmackhaft und vielfältig. Wenn mich nicht die Arbeit getrieben hätte, hätte ich wohl mehrere Stunden das Ambiente und das Essen genossen.

4 star? It is a nice and old hotel seems got the stars in 1980… No problem at all but really oldies. Welcome in NDK. But really clean, good restaurant, nice breakfast, but nowadays it seems only 3 star hotel.

Attentive service and good cuisine with regional and fresh products. Attractive menu and good wines.

A super nice hotel staff absolutely top again thanks for the New Year's Party 17/18

We spent yesterday's New Year's Eve here including overnight and looking forward to a merry evening at the end of the year. Unfortunately, this was not done by an impossible musical arrangement, we have not experienced such a catastrophe yet. My wife and I love to dance… but not to jazz, 80% of the guests present, by the way, also not! There were excellent musicians at the start with whom we were also able to experience very nice evenings. Supposedly the direction of the music was determined by the hotel management and not changed despite the many wishes of the guests. Too bad… and completely incomprehensible, because the offered 5 course menu was very good and the hotel staff and service excellent. By the way, it is only thanks to the very friendly and imaginative staff that the evening could still end in a conciliatory manner, as they built an installation with great music in the bar area and tried to save the embarrassing situation! The hotel management should take an example of this. From that point on, 80% of the New Year's Eve guests were dancing in the bar, while the band recoiled their dubious New Year's Eve program before "yawning emptiness".
I am thinking of such an evening at the end of the year, you can not find the "paying guest" in front of the head, which unfortunately leaves a very ambivalent impression of a 4 star house.

We booked our hotel for 3 nights. The rooms are nicely furnished and equipped with the usual equipment (shower, toilet, television, etc. ) A tablet informs guests about sights, excursion destinations and everything else about the hotel and Eisenach. The staff, which must also be emphasized at this point, is exceptionally good. With a lot of diligence, dedication and always friendly appearance, you make the stay very pleasant. The food in the brasserie is highly recommended and stands out from the usual food. Even if you are a guest at the hotel, it is worth a detour to dinner.
The stay is highly recommended as price — performance is absolutely in proportion.

The food in the restaurant is very good, the service is also good, but partly dependent on the service staff. But never really bad. Rather that sometimes the small details are missing something.
However, I cannot make a judgement about the hotel as such, since I am always there for dinner.

The hotel is clean and modern in style. I give 4 stars because they stand here on Google for the note "good".

Convenient location to downtown, the marketplace, and the train station. Almost right across from the city park where you can take a quiet stroll. The room price was a bit higher than I would have liked. The prices at the restaurant are definitely too high for the value. Room was very clean and ut had all the required amenities. One thing that was odd is you need to use your room key to lock/unlock the door even from the inside. You have to place the key into the holder on the wall right next to the door to be able to use the lights/electricity in your room. I would have rather preferred a proper deadbolt/latch on the door as this most certainly will cause a problem if you need to leave your room quickly in an emergency.

Close to train station and although the hotel is on a busy street, the windows are extremely sound proof. Friendly staff. Meals are pricy.
Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Were here for 2 nights, there was nothing to complain about, nice room, great bed and breakfast there was everything the heart desires, who finds nothing here, that is not to be understood. Only the parking fees for 2 days 20 euros that is fierce. Friendly staff.

After all, my room had a bathtub; the charm of the bathroom but reminiscent of a slaughterhouse. There are hardly any storage facilities and the bathroom with shower is zugeteilt-how in 3 star hotels.
The breakfast buffet is ok: wobbly TK bread and also baked rolls. Sausage and cheese by the food service (from the plastic bag), little fresh fruit, coffee undrinkable.
The price is ok, it's also clean, but who want to stay exclusively, is bad here.

Corresponded exactly to my expectations, decent rooms, nice Service, food in the Restaurant was always impeccable and delicious.

We have a very nice weekend in Eisenach and spent us in the Glockenhof felt very comfortable. Very friendly and attentive Service and spacious and clean rooms with super comfortable beds. In the evening we have us in the Brasserie you can enjoy and the very selected wine list tried. Highly recommended!

Have a really pleasant stay at the Glockenhof had! The food was delicious and the prices for this Standard is very fair. The wine list is highly recommended. The rooms were also superb and the staff extremely courteous and helpful. Will in future still be there just stay when I am in the area.

Very good Service, clean and nice rooms. Cosy beer garden with great Restaurant. The Breakfast buffet is rich and tasty.

The rooms are wonderful. The Restaurant is unfortunately not enough staff in the Service. The guests of a larger event had a long time to eat and drinks to wait. Very sad.

Very pleasant stay, good Service, and relatively cheap! Excellent location for Fussgängergebiet and other old town.
