Beautiful rooms (bathroom a little old-fashioned), but the Penthouse rooms are nicely furnished and have great views of the city. Good location and on a staircase a relatively short walk to the castle. Breakfast only average and overpriced (€18.50) for the relatively small Buffet. Extra coffee pot (normal pot of coffee) for 16, 00 Euro, which is completely overpriced. This is a big minus point.

This Hotel can-and must-recommend. A super house and a top heavy Service. Thank you to the staff and the owners for the beautiful days with you makes it more so.

Arrived after 12 hours riding motorcycles from Briançon in temperatures around 35 degrees. The receptionists first words were ‘ the bar is downstairs, get yourselves a beer’ it was music to our ears. Easy check in and very friendly helpful staff.

Lovely welcome upon arrival, rooms are wonderful. Beer was most welcome after nearly 700k ride…

Best privately run hotel in Saarbrücken. We were already in 3 other hotels in Saarbrücken before, but none convinced us as this.
The lady at the reception very nice and helpful. At check-in, she has allowed us to have the Zinmer ready earlier. After a short wait with apple juice in the lobby we were allowed to move into our room at 13:30.
We were only here one night from Monday to Tuesday, but certainly not the last time :)

Wonderful ambience, great friendly and competent staff. I felt completely comfortable and slept mega well. Food was fantastic and the breakfast buffet was great. Thank you very much.

Super-great hotel. Theme room very tasteful. Swimming pool, fitness room, outdoor area with small pond very nice. Restaurant and bar top. Even own trill beer is offered. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Absolutely recommended.

The hotel is well furnished and the guest really lacks nothing.

Room 601 is unreasonable, however!

In the room it is far too warm to sleep well. There is no air conditioning. But opening the window doesn't help either. The noise of two air conditioners is waiting to take you to sleep at night.

The shower in the bathroom is not high enough for people from about 190cm, which makes showering much more difficult.

Otherwise, as I said, everything is okay.

Quietly located, a little less than a 10-minute walk from the Old Town. The double room on the 7th floor was very spacious, comfortable and well maintained. However, the hotel and the rooms have a little old from the furnishings, and could tolerate some refreshment. In terms of price, it is still in the upper class, which is why there are only 4 stars.

Great, modern hotel. Quietly located and so central. The themed rooms, all have their own charm. Reals beautiful. The photo, is a shot, the back … I find it very pretty how the hotel is lit up at night.

Very nice hotel in quiet location. The food, however, leaves nothing to be desired. Gnocchi were a little too hard, all slightly tasteless, 1 alcohol free wheat Beer 4, 90! Only four stars. Otherwise a very nicely decorated ambiance. Great training rooms, the service was very accommodating and friendly.

Brilliant hotel, very qwerky rooms and the food was brilliant. A short walk into town if you want to head into any local restaurants. Staff were brilliant and will definitely stay again when I am back on business.

After a week in France's hotels that were getting worse I am very happy with this. Room and bathroom are wonderful, the bed soft. Staff friendly and courteous. The breakfast is OK and well sorted. I miss more healthy alternatives. The buns were very bright and still sticky. Perhaps the kitchen was too stressful because of the group of travellers. I already know a lot of international accommodation, this is one of the best. I feel picked up and well cared for. Only the bathrobe was far too small. It would be good to ask before what size is needed.

All over great Hotel & great Location. Friendly familiar atmosphere Great Breakfast — I assume it a little bit expensive for Saarbrücken. My personal opinion. But good. Friendly staff anywhere. Pool looks great — could not join. gym too small, BUT possibilty to train in LOFT Gym in the center — that was the reason for booking. things to improve: long hair from the cleaning ladys in the room In the bathroom hairs as well summary : good stay.

Hotel is centrally, which is really great. My booked comfort room I had imagined much bigger. The price lifted. Room was clean, the bathroom was quite new, the décor and style overall quite modern. A bottle of water was available for free. The breakfast area was very irritating to me because it doesn't fit the rest of the hotel. As if you had stopped renovating here. Breakfast was quite good though. 4 stars, however, I find a bit surprising.

From the receptionist to the waitress we were all greeted with a smile, first class attention. The decoration type comics very fun and enjoyable, all very clean. In the room you have your water heater with some teas and coffees, sugar and cream to prepare your own hot drink, an important and warm detail that after a very cold day always falls super well.

Spectacular hotel with pop culture theme (Popart, Urban Art, Industrial Culture). Not a chain, but a generational enterprise run with love and passion. Theme rooms, conferences, fantastic views over Saarbrücken, events, shop with trill beer, spices and much more.
A real experience is also the tiptop service and the culinary offer.
By the way, breakfast and restaurant are not only for hotel guests, but also explicitly for all those who want to be pampered in an extraordinary ambience.
Just a few minutes away from the Saarbrücken Castle, the Historical Museum and the St. Johanner Markt.
Absolute recommendation.

Rooms 318 and 320 do not correspond to a 4 star hotel. In comparison with other hotel we would qualify the hotel as a 3 star hotel. We did not see the other rooms, only those allotted to us, and we were disappointed. Funny smell in the hallway to these rooms. Breakfast good, staff friendly. Surprisingly many positive reviews, therefore Saarland friends have booked us the hotel…!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. My room was kind of penthouse with great view, spacy and good bed. Internet speed is very good even for streaming, fulfilling completely typical business traveler needs. Breakfast is good, I specifically remember warm brown bread which taste was marvelous. Coffee I didn't like at all, it's from a coffee making machine. If you take running shoes, there are nice quiet streets and small roads around for jogging. Area is quiet without a street noices, relatively close to the city center. If I'm here again, I'll choose this hotel most likely.

The Hotel AM Triller is a lovely hotel, and I've been staying there on business trips to Saarbrucken since 2014. The location is perfect walking distance to the city center and to my work location, so I make a point of walking from the hotel as much as possible. It's on a lovely hill in a perfectly quiet neighborhood overlooking the city, and it is only a short 10min walk to the St. Johann Markt with several bars, restaurants, and scenic views of the river Saar. The staff is EXCEPTIONAL, and always provide quick and expedient service. They are all very friendly and eager to please the guests. The restaurant is a great environment, but I have not personally eaten there for dinner. The hotel-provided breakfast is great, though. For us Americans, there are scrambled eggs and bacon at the buffet, along with a veritable host of typical German fare. I love enjoying my morning coffee and breakfast while reading news and looking out over the treetops below that the view from the breakfast room (s) allow. Each room is decorated differently, and they are all charming. You have to see them to believe them. But I recommend rooms on the fourth floor or higher so that you have a view of the city from your large windows, as well. There is also a lovely fitness center on site. Although the workout equipment is not very diverse, there is a nice pool and a sauna. The Triller is a lovely hotel and I recommend staying there for any business or pleasure travelers coming to Saarbrucken!

Hotel located on a hill above the city of Saarbrücken. Staff very nice and available. Breakfast is served in a room that offers a nice view of the city. Many services offered by the hotel. Everything is gathered to spend a pleasant stay.

Really good value for money! I stayed in room 135 for 1 night only. — free parking — extremely fast internet — big fair rooms. — super friendly staff — very good restaurant — everything is very fair priced Based on price € 100 per night, room quality, super friendly staff which all speaks English, clean rooms and other facilities as location, free parking, pool, free internet in good quality etc. I haven giving it 5 stars, but it is 4 star hotel based on hotel standards if I don't consider the price. I have altered my original rating because the hotel acted rapidly and changed small mistakes. I was informed I could call room services 24/7 next time — this is hereby past on to others if you need a extra pillow, another bed, room or bathrobe etc… they made it happened.

The hotel is well located, not 10 minutes away from the motorway. It is nevertheless very quiet.
The rooms are very clean and equipped with air conditioning and a safe, television with sky and minibar.
The spa area is beautifully designed and also features a fitness room. Still, it is possible to receive a ticket for a gym in the city.
The breakfast is very rich and leaves nothing to be desired. Still, the employees are very friendly and obliging. So is also the service there.

Was only there for a night, would stay but sure again there. The price — to-performance ratio is correct.
My room was stylish furnished and provided very fast Wi-Fi, a kettle, a relatively spacious bathroom in addition to TV (with many channels, also sky).
Breakfast (€15) was not included, but I can very recommend it!
The staff was also friendly and helpful, even when we check in until midnight and asked for a cot.

Waren nur zum Übernachten im Hotel. Optisch ansprechend und sauber, aber ein klein wenig muffig auf dem Zimmer. Etwas halbherzig modernisiert (seltsame Schalterbelegung), aber insgesamt hübsch gestaltet.

We had a great Christmas party food. Then I could in a cosy room and a delicious Breakfast with many organic products can be enjoyed. So, all the best — hopefully we repeat that in the next year!

Very nice Hotel in a quiet location. 10 minutes walk into the old town. Very good Restaurant and great themed rooms. The Breakfast is also great — there are lots of organic stuff, and everything you for Breakfast wishes.

The room was clean and pleasantly furnished. The Breakfast was good. Dining in the evening was very good. Swimming pool and Sauna TOP. I would be here another Time to stay.

The reception was very friendly, Raft and to the point. Even though we are 2 hours to vorhet Einchech o'clock in the Hotel arrived, the people of the Reception are Muhe given and accounts we after 15 minutes to check in. Rooms are very clean and we had a good Bed. Swimming pool and gym hebben we also used. We were very satisfied. Also, we have enjoyed from the very lekkere Breakfast. Sorry for the mistake, we come from Belgiën, Hasselt. Saarbrücken and Hotel on the trill, we will come back! A lot of beautiful greetings Marina & Luc.

Was on a business trip in the Saarland. I had chosen the hotel on the trill including because I value organic food. And I was not disappointed. There's really nothing to complain about. Also the staff super friendly. Really recommended. Happy to be back.

Now just before Christmas, it was a very nice relaxing stay. Especially the swimming pool and sauna, as well as the large bathrooms have convince me. I look forward to your next stay.
