Very reasonably priced with all the desired facilities. I use it yearly for visiting conventions in Essen. From.

Excellent site will great rail connection s to Dusseldorf and Essen and then to the rest of Germany and Europe.

A quite location. Close to city centre. Facilities were well maintained and looked good. Staff went out there way to help and make you feel welcome. I stayed on one of the busiest weekends of the year but I felt that the campsite was not over full and apart from a minor queue for toilets in the morning have nothing to complain about. Not quite a 5 star place but certainly recommendable for those staying in the area for a few nights.

Since the leadership of the place is in new hands (I believe since mid-2015), is very respected for cleanliness and order. A sanitary building was recently refurbished, that second is though well-maintained and clean. The location is great, as you can easily reach the beautiful old Town or the S-Bahn to all possible places in the Ruhr area. The staff is nice and helpful and also finds a solution for unusual requests (e. G. Reservation of half tent for a larger tour group).
We have been on the pitch more often and will probably still be camping there!

So sorry but I do not know which bursts some people are true but the place is just down. People may be nice, but a place that doesn't even really know German can well I don't think I'm good. The visitors ' places are to puke man stands just on the meadow although there are record places, oh, yes, electricity can be easily used by the man himself and then at these prices. I also do not understand what Knaus thinks with sea view but well the Ruhr is a river people. The place has four stars Nja, but sorry for what the man hears the planes from 6 to 0 o'clock and the S-Bahn. I would definitely not come back as a visitor. And I only gave one star, because man is in the city and on the water.

A beautiful square, centrally located in the Ruhr area. The sanitary facilities are indeed older, but thanks to the nice lady always clean and well kept.
The Manager is very helpful and always friendly. We were already here a lot and come back.

To explore the Ruhr area is the place in order. Not more and not less. All clean, all nice.

Is old and simple for my feeling much too expensive, all right. Although all are pretty nice, but that the high price does not matter.

I didnt like too much the place.

We feel at this campground is very, very well. It is situated in Green surroundings, directly at the Ruhr, still only about 8-10 Min. From the S-Bahn to food city and Düsseldorf. Mr. Lindner, the Manager of the city-Camping, is friendly and always helpful. Be is a charming little town.

Very nice and helpful caretaker, quiet place, only with a yellow or green sticker to achieve. Sanitairanlagen in the years to come but clean and neat. I shall gladly come again.

Would never visit this campsites because dogs not premitted. I think its one of the few I met where we can't bring our beloving familymember on 4 legs.
