Very satisfied friendly staff.

Already for the fifth Time here, great staff, class Breakfast, friendly Service, and the voucher for a waiver of the daily Room cleaning is a great idea — we will pay for our Hotel at any time again.

This morning was Breakfast at the Welcome Hotel, and must, the Breakfast was just great, in addition to the rich buffet, the omelet was cooked to order, fresh and tasty. The service staff were friendly and attentive. Thank you for so much competence, we always come back.

This hotel is top! The service is great, even in case of questions or problems, it is immediately helped on the phone — friendliness and a serious appearance is the be-all and end-all here. Even as a newcomer to a big city, you can safely walk through the door here, as the staff also offer information about sights. The atmosphere is really great — despite the good location near the center it is quiet. The rooms are completely clean and nicely decorated. My husband and I have been to this hotel for the 3rd time to enjoy a relaxed and cozy stay in the middle of dinner. Clearly, we will be back!

The Welcome Hotel is a favorite of our company and I can well understand why. The hotel is wonderfully centrally located and easily accessible. The car park is spacious and you will always find a place close to the lift.
The whole hotel is modern and the rooms are well equipped. Also the food in the restaurant, as well as the breakfast are really good. Priced rather upscale.

Nice clean rooms, rather spacey, beds tend to slide apart. Very friendly welcome at the reception desk Breakfast was good quality but would expect a wider variety for the price. Parking is rather expensive too. But overall it was a pleasant stay.

Very central in Essen, very good breakfast, clean and quiet. The only issue is very hard beds in some rooms. Surprisingly low price for the quality.

For me, a typical business and conference hotel. It is located directly on a busy road, leaving the windows in these rooms on the street "limited". With closed windows, however, hardly any noise audible (+ + +). But as a "big city" you are accustomed to noise levels and hardly notice it yet. The rooms are modern and functional.
The breakfast buffet is rich and tasty.
The staff is nice and professional unobtrusive.

Nice staff. Clean rooms. Unfortunately not very quiet location. The room safe is too small for a 13 inch notebook. There is a partnership with a local gym. There you can train free of charge.

What a pleasure after a long journey — a great hotel with nice, friendly people at the reception — and good food and wine. My dinner stuff was with a smile and a friendly "take your time" the minute the restaurant should be closed, and the waiters were just as fabulous at the brilliant breakfast — where there were real honeycombs. Wish I could stay longer.

Clean rooms, looks almost new. Friendly staff and great location. Parking is €18 a day, which is a bit on the high side.

The Breakfast is really excellent. Very courteous and polite staff especially in the restaurant area. The Hotel is consistently clean and well maintained. Properly.

Stay as part of a business event. I can't say anything about the room facilities. Very centrally located in the immediate vicinity of the Essen downtown.

I was in the hotel from Thursday to Monday.
The reception was super friendly and very anxious to meet all our needs.
The entrance wat very well maintained and from the outside also quite nice. We were having a one dog since this was not a problem 10 euros a night all good.
The room was quite pleasantly clean and large enough.
The bathroom neatly fresh with good towels.
The room service was good and daily.
The bed was good to sleep in despite Main street and weekend on the first floor everything was quiet and nothing to hear.
There is everything you need to shop or eat nearby. Behind the hotel and next to it there are free parking spaces for use. I found it very nice and pleasant.

We have stayed here several times now and the service is always outstanding. Rooms are clean and tidy and staff are very friendly.

Very good location. Unfortunately the parking in the underground garage is very expensive. (18, — €) will be offered with an upgrade cheaper. The cake offers in the bar are very microwave biased. Staff is super trained and very attentive, but unfortunately not sufficient. Rooms are standard.

Arrival was on the 27th 12.
We were given an evening request that the restaurant was closed between the days. However, this was not the case at the time of booking and also not in the hotel. On the contrary, in the elevators, advertising was made for the great food in the in-house restaurant.
The room was very nice, however the beds are very soft. When one person turns around at night, the other of the wobble during almost falls out of bed. The breakfast was very balanced and plentiful. However, I find €17 per person very overpriced.
The whole staff, including the maid, were very friendly.
Would still book somewhere else for the next time. Sorry, I'm just honest.

Very bad Wi-Fi in the room, only 1 maximum of 2 strokes with 5 — 11 Mbit and constantly crashes. I hope I just had bad luck with the room, working so unfortunately was not possible at all.

Went only there for meeting friends and thoght the hotel reception looked fine. Their room looked fine too.

A cheeky, this hotel! Even before arrival. I have booked online and tagged myself in the date, OK… my mistake. After I noticed this error I immediately called the hotel and wanted to prior for a week… Rooms were free enough. Conclusion After many phone calls is that I would like to arrive 1 week earlier, but then also have to pay twice because you do not know if you can get the room again rented… (I have reported 3 hours after the wrong booking) The hotel or The reservation department is anything but friendly… and hostile to customers… so you shouldn't deal with customers… I will now pay the room which I can not use and rebook at a friendly hotel… Service Desert Germany I just say.

Top hotel rooms Silence even on the street. Extra breakfast.

Hello there, I did not have any problems during my stay. The hotel is walking distance to the center of Essen. The beds were soft and wonderful! The rooms were clean and well maintained. Thank you for everything.

Room is clean, breakfast is great, people are friendly and professional, however the internet is unreliable and slow. We could not get work done and the beds need to be replaced.

The reservation was easy on internet, on arrival the reception is very friendly, the room is clean and of reasonable size, the hotel is very close to the shopping center. However the Wi-Fi did not work, even after a call to the reception, there was too much noise early in the morning about 7:30 from a construction site (baustelle) outside, although the advertising on your website it says that the rooms are soundproof (schallisolierte Fenster, Lärmschutzfenster). When I complained to the reception about the noise in the morning the desk clerk said she did not know anything about that. On check out I was charged € 8.70 for two drinks, orange and water they are listed for 2, 90 each in the price list in the room. I asked the reception to send the bill by email but I have not received it yet.

The room was perfect in all sense. The staff at the reception was fantastic. The lunch buffet was very good. This is the only place I will be staying at, whenever I am in Essen.

One pillow? Air conditioning didn't work. Room too hot. Hotel outdated and location becoming particularly unappealing and intimidating with refugees hanging out outside the hotel. Staff if very professional and well trained.

All good except the strongly negative note of not being able to get refund for a room that I could not use for a force majeure cause.

I was only there for a night, but has totally convinced me!
The Business Suite is at the top of the building and there is a super panoramic view.
I'm Yes every year once for 2Wochen after eating and have now found the right hotel.
So price and performance perfect!

Hotel happened to celebrate in food, found, service is excellent, nice and in a good mood, have all brought us, comb, toothbrush, hair gel, deodorant, so top equipped for a spontaneous trip, also got a smoking room, which was super clean and has a pleasant smell. Next time again, even my girlfriend was thrilled.

We liked especially the friendliness of the staff throughout the hotel. The room was super clean and very well liked. The food in the restaurant was so yummy and great style, the hammer. Breakfast no wishes remain unfulfilled, the Welcome Hotel, we can recommend with a clear conscience. Again happy to!

We stayed 1 night and everyting was good. Room is spacy, staff is friendly, breaksfast is very good. parking lot is convinient, the only thing is the matress was very soft, it was uncomfortable for me (personal complain) other than that, our stay was enjoyable.

I ordered Hotell by hot wire and it works very well. Your Hotell is excellent, breakfast could have been but inclusive.

We were the third Time in the Welcome food. The last few stays, however, are already about 5 years back. The Hotel makes a very good and well-kept impression. What very bothered was the smoke smell in the room. We have on arrival is not thought of a non-Smoking room to be desired, but were of the colleagues at the reception are not asked. The rooms are otherwise very nice and modern furnishings. The bed has a good solid mattress. Queen-Size Bed. The Breakfast is actually very good, but I must say, that before all things the Sunday Brunch is very diminished. During the last visit, as I said some years ago, was the variety of the Buffet, but much larger. No meat, only Nuremberg sausage, pickled herring, no salmon, etc Actually complain on a very high level, but if I for this Sunday Brunch 21, 50 euros would have to pay — if I were very disappointed — the "normal" Breakfast costs 17 euros and also the selection is not high enough. But still a very nice Hotel with very nice staff and therefore 4 stars. We would love to come back.

Wider bester "Wochenendservice". Trotz centraler Lage gut lärmgedämmtes Zimmer. Die Parkgebühren finde ich bei halb gefüllter Tiefgarage etwas hoch.

We were about the WE about an Animodgutschein in the hotel. The hotel is clean, tidy. The staff helpful. Special requests and small claims were processed promptly. Thank you very much.
What we found something disturbing, was a "loud" group in the lounge on a Saturday night. Certainly it would have been possible, to celebrate this group in a separate room. But as we solved the noisy problem in our own way. We took the drinks to the room. :)
The dinner is for two to share. The General value for money agreed. Also the short connections to the city centre were easy to reach on foot. This UNESCO World Heritage is to exhibitors, but then guided because there lots information flow.

Gut geführtes Haus, saubere, moderne, zweckmäßige Zimmer, sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück, Preis/Leistung angemessen, zwei Kritikpunkte: 1) Frühstücksbereich zu klein an WE, Personal zu diesen Zeiten überfordert mit dem Andrang 2) Betten für unseren Geschmack zu weich Fazit: Hotel empfehlenswert, Lage top zum Besuch des GOP oder Shoppen, gute Verkehrsanbindung — > wir kommen gerne wieder.

Inexplicably, we got a smoking room. In addition, the curtains had so many big yellow spots that it seems they were never washed since hotel. The shower was leaking at one point so that the half floor in the bathroom is covered with my water. Luckily, we had a tightly scheduled three days in Essen, so we have spent very little time in the room. The breakfast was also quite unentspannt. The selection was alright, the buffet is only somewhat closely placed, that you constantly have the feeling to be someone in the way. The staff runs even more frantically back and forth, so no breakfast atmosphere comes up, above all, sitting on the wrong side in the breakfast room, where you regularly schäppern hear it from the kitchen. The location is however good.

We were there with 4 people over the weekend. The hotel is recommended in any case. The location is great, everything clean and tidy, breakfast very very tasty and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. We were there the second time and a third time will surely follow.

Very nice Central Hotel
It was a nice relaxing stay. Friendly reception. Fast information, if you have any questions had. Breakfast buffet very very beautiful and versatile. Well built. Müsli corner, juice corner etc clean rooms. Cabinets to the store. Poor wlan — reception room, but that didn't bother us.

Angenehmes Ambiente, sehr guter Service und gutes Preis — Leistungsverhältnis. Größe des Zimmers und des Bades ausreichend. Matratze und Matratzenrahmen zu weich. Empfehlenswertes Haus in zentraler Lage.
