Are now 2 times here and it is always nice, very friendly staff, nice rooms and cozy beds, delicious food.
Come here every year and i'm always looking forward to it. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel with public transport links. For guests with their own car arrival, there are parking spaces on the market square (unless used elsewhere) and also an underground car park. The rooms are tidy, clean and in good condition, here you can sleep well and also quietly thanks to the electric outdoor blinds. Wi-Fi is included and also at a usable speed. For evening program there is a bar with TV in the reception area. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety and freshness. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay.

The staff is young, friendly, attentive and very helpful. But as is often the case, very thin staff ceiling.
Free upgrade, very large room get. The operation of the air conditioning overwhelmed me, had two of them.
But the room was always pleasantly cool.

Gorgeous. Clean, large and modern rooms. Technique also okay. (Wi-Fi, TV, etc. ) Breakfast great, staff very friendly. All in all highly recommended.

Unfortunately, we were only at Minitrops for Dinner and could only explore the Hotel a little bit. Very stylish with many historical Touches, decent Cuisine, good Wines on Offer. Very pretty building Semble. Just look at it, it's worth it.

Schones Hotel in toller Lage. Leider waren Tische und Stühle im Seminarraum etwas klein, sodass es sehr eng wurde — ansonsten top.

A great hotel. Inside, everything you would expect from a good city hotel. The air conditioning in the room at tropical outdoor temperatures, great. And then breakfast directly at the market of the storied Margaret's height. And in the hotel, no hustle and bustle, no stress.
Even the super-cool businessman with Bluetooth plug in his ear, who shoves super-important things in front of him all the time, can't spoil the whim here.

In den wenigen Tagen, die wir im Mintrops Stadt Hotel Margarethenhöhe verbracht haben, haben wir ein sehr hilfsbereites Personal gehabt, das bereit war, uns Ratschläge zu geben und uns einfache Wege zu zeigen, um in Essen herumzukommen. Das Essen im Hotel ist einfach reizend und schmeckt wie der Himmel; unser Kompliment an den Küchenchef. Das Hotel ist ordentlich eingerichtet, der Restaurantbereich ist sehr entspannend. Die Zimmer haben ein sehr gemütliches Gefühl, ruhig, mit schönen gemütlichen Speisen. Auch dieses Hotel ist nur wenige Gehminuten von der Messe Essen entfernt. Dennoch, wenn Sie den öffentlichen Dienst nutzen müssen, kann es innerhalb von 1 Minute zu Fuß vom Hotel entfernt verwendet werden. Ich denke, dass das Geld im Mintrops Stadt Hotel Margarethenhöhe gut ausgegeben wird. Ein großes Dankeschön an alle Mitarbeiter, die dort arbeiten.

Great building with class design room. Super Restaurant with top breakfast. Ample parking spaces in front of the door on Market Square.

The hotel is located in a very nice district of Essen. It was about 30 minutes walk or 10 minutes by taxi to the fair. The breakfast was very plentiful. The rooms are modern and clean. The staff was very friendly.

We were an excellent 6-course new year's Eve evening menu in the Mintrops city hotel and there have spent a very comfortable and high-quality culinary evening. The staff is very friendly so that we can fully recommend the restaurant.

High demands not being met by kitchen and service. Unfortunately. Location excellent — cry easily too expensive. It is also not necessarily what promises the card on the plate. Maybe I got a bad day also (again). Wish more attention the guest to the team.

We were only in the Restaurant. This was super. Food great, Service very attentive. And have you tried vegan kitchen to conjure up, which was not so so all convinced. Here, however, total.

Relatively small and family-like atmosphere, the Restaurant offers great quality and fresh regional and seasonal products. A small Spa or Sauna areas would be desirable :-).

Nice Hotel, but service was very slow, took 25 mins to check out 4 people.

In the few days that we spent at the Mintrops Stadt Hotel Margarethenhöhe we have enjoyed a very helpful staff, willing to give us advice and showing us easy ways to get around Essen. The food at the hotel is simply lovely and tastes like Heaven; our compliments to the Chef. The Hotel is neatly decorated, the restaurant area very relaxing. The rooms have a very cosy feeling, quiet, with nice cosy materasses. Also, this Hotel is situated within walking distance from the Messe Essen. Still, if you need to use public service, it can be used within 1 minute walk away from the Hotel. I think that spending time at the Mintrops Stadt Hotel Margarethenhöhe is money spent well.
