A legend among the almost "Kölschen" breweries, because geographically located in Kerpen. But Wilkens has moved with the times and has risen to the challenges of its target groups. A contemporary bistro was created, a beautiful beer garden with ambience was set up to make the existing good restaurant, hotel and the iconic Wilkens pub wider. I like to come there to enjoy the freshly tapped Kölsch from stitch barrels and to soak up the Cologne country atmosphere.

Unfortunately, despite repeated references, no paper was filled in the men's toilets. This must not happen in this category.

Reservations were possible at short notice.

The food is very good and the prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, it is a bit difficult for me at the moment, as only 4 dishes without asparagus are on the menu. Luckily, that's over. I finally ate a very good burger.

Very nice location with very nice details. We were able to spend our short waiting time for our seat in a beautiful fireplace corner. Exuded good light concept. The food also tastes top, especially the bread you should test as it tastes really freshly made.
The only downer that denies the 5th star is the volume. Here, the interior design seemingly did not take into account the clairvoyance of the large premises. If you talk calmly with your counterpart, then you better not want to talk to the counter area.

Since the old brewery had closed despite reservation, we had to find a new hotel in front of a wedding very short term (1, 5 h). Luckily a room was free in the Wilken and we were able to book very quickly and easily. Great service, nice rooms and delicious food! Thanks for the great evening:)

You can eat very well here. The staff are friendly and since the renovation it is modern which also allows young people to feel comfortable there.

Great semi upmarket bar/restaurant, perfect place to go with a group of friends.

In the tavern the service was a little slow. Often had to wait for our Kölsch. Otherwise good.

I have been a regular guest here since I 93 to the country. That was always good with rising tendency to this day. As a very spoiled man as far as the food is concerned I can only say that the kitchen of Haus Wilkes has 5 * levels. Service Dito.

Nicht ganz billig aber ein gutes Restaurant. Die Menüs sind nicht so exklusiv wie bei Conchiglia (Und natürlich nicht Schloss Lörsfeld, klar), sondern eher in Richtung bodenständige deutsche Küche gelagert, aber durchweg alles sehr lecker. "Nur" 4 Sterne weil es einerseits bodenständige deutsche Küche anbieten will aber dann doch auch ein Nobelrestaurant sein möchte. Der Spagat gelingt "fast" perfekt, deshalb "ehrliche" 4 Sterne. Definitiv einen Besuch wert wenn man mal deutsche Küche mit gehobenem Anspruch probieren möchte.

I had a clean and tasteful room positively struck me in which especially the excellently furnished bathroom. The service was where an employee was clearly friendly, as two others previously okay (when I had a concern, much was going on in the restaurant just each). The brochure in the room could be more detailed — then you know as a guest before, that the nightly shutdown of bathroom lighting with switches off also the most visible outlet, where you wanted to actually recharge his cell phone. Nevertheless, the good location and the great value for money get you back!
