Very kind and polite reception. Room was very clean and spacious. I couldn't experience the bar or breakfast due to my very early flight. Airport was about 10 min from the hotel. Taxi drivers will not want to be paid by card.

Pros — Very friendly staff, good breakfast, very spacious and spotlessly clean rooms, very good showers, very close to the tram line of you need it, secure parking spaces (costs extra €9 per day), bar open till late night if you need it. Cons — Right next to tram line so may wake you up at night of you are a light sleeper (didnt bother me personally), Not many restaurants around if you arrive late past 9PM, no restaurant at the hotel either as they serve only breakfast, no coffee/tea machines in the room. Not a very inviting area around the hotel to be honest. Overall — very good stay if you want something close to the airport for a short stay.

Room was very nicely decorated and well equipped. Close to the airport. I'll stay here again if I go through Düsseldorf.

Nice boutique hotel with very nice breakfast. Unfortunately right next to the tram that turns there, i. E. From 6:00 and until 22:00 you can hear the tram.

Easily accessible from the outside on foot from the airport as you walk through the large park.
The reception was super friendly and it all went uncomplicated I would like a few more but everything went easy and fast. The hallway I find a bit too old. The room on the 4 floor was great the bed was the hammer I slept like home.
This has really upgraded the room which is unfortunately fierce the road train which goes every 10 min and when falling asleep even at 1 o 'clock at night driving through since 94 euros are no longer justified.
I thought it was okay but unfortunately wouldn't come back.

Hotel not so far from the airport. Rooms are very big but not so in line with a design hotel. Breakfast is really good but a little bit expensive.

Cosy Little Hotel. Good service and clean. The breakfast is very good and the bar well equipped. Gladly again.

Small but fine hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Although it is somewhat secluded in a quiet residential area, there is good access by road, commuter train or bus and by taxi it is only a stone's throw from the airport.

Super friendly rooms are top, large and modern furnishings. Large desk, ideal for working.
Breakfast is also superb. Very modern furnishings and a wide selection.
Take care of the entrance to the parking spaces. It's a little hard to see. If you turn into the street behind it, you have a problem. Is only for Starkenbahnen!

Nice staff. Rooms uncomfortable. Air conditioning is noisy and does not work properly. In the rooms it smells musty. The bathroom was not cleaned properly despite fault. What a pity.
I've been there several times. The lack of cleanliness has now caused me to stop coming back.

Very cosy and clean. Staff speaks in at least 3 languages and all are very polite and helpful. Place is near to the airport and pretty much the only downside I can think of is the sound of teams at night. Noticeable before you fall asleep, not loud enough to wake you up though. Well deserved 5 stars. I would not hesitate to visit again when I come to Dusseldorf. Great stay.

Very nice and comfortable hotel. Located within 5 min from the local train station, And it takes only 2 min from the station to the airport. You can enjoy local beer at the restaurant just next to the hotel.

Stylish hotel. It was a little bit further away from the airport than I'd expected — about 25mins walk, or 1 stop on the S Train. The only negative point is the noisy tram station outside which woke me up once.

Great value for money at this gem of a hotel! I needed a convenient place near the airport that wouldn't break the bank. Avidon Art & Design Hotel was perfect and far exceeded my expectations. It was easy to access from the train line, and the furnishings and amenities were top notch. The place is in great condition and very clean. Would recommend!

Reasonable value for a Düsseldorf Airport-area hotel. Good breakfast, clean rooms. The rooms weren't really "high design" as the name of the hotel would suggest.

Great business hotel close to the airport. I stayed the night there between two flights. I had nothing to complain about which is all I ask for given this price and location close to the airport.

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Avidon Art & Design Hotel. It's conveniently located near the Dusseldorf Airport. The property is immaculate, well-maintained and efficiently operated. The staff was very hospitable and helpful with restaurant suggestions and directions. I will stay here in the future when traveling via the Dusseldorf Airport.

About 3-4 minutes from Unterrach train station. I booked 5 rooms for me and my colleagues who were flying out of Düsseldorf Airport next morning. This is a great little boutique hotel which offers an enjoyable stay to travelers. My room was spacious, well furnished and clean; bed was cosy for a good night's sleep. The large window offered a view of the tram station next to the hotel. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and provided valuable guidance on how to spend the evening in the city. They arranged for a cab to the airport next morning. Breakfast was pricey (18 Euros per person) so we did not opt for it.

I have only rarely experienced. A beautiful Hotel with ever new Surprises. I felt very far away. The very special but dealing with me. When checking in, I'm really not always a very pleasant one. I was after the ride knurrig and by no means friendly, made my remarks, including On the village in the North of Cologne. I admire the gentleman at reception. How he dealt with me, like me, he abfing, as he took me to the friend won. So it went throughout the entire stay. I can only say a big thank you.

Nice Hotel — nothing for peace loving people — but price/performance is absolutely fine.

The Hotel is Centrally located on a loop of a light rail. We warem on the first floor of the hotel for a night. The Geräuschepegel of the passing light rail is also still Ohrenpacks to hear, because the whole bed vibrates. The rooms are well furnished and clean. Otherwise the Hotel is modern and offers a great whiskey bar. U-Bahn in front of the door and the S-Bahn is about a 5-minute walk away.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Really nice room, friendly staff, stable Wi-Fi (but a bit slow). Room has nice balcony but no minibar. Comfortable bed and you can take the tram to the city, or buss 760/729 to the airport. The airport is 25 minutes by foot and you get to walk trough a nice park. There is a supermarket not far from the hotel (walk 7 minutes west on Unterrather street).
