From the outside you can see that the hotel is a former farmhouse. Upon entering the building, the bright colors and wood catch the eye. The rooms are all very modern and similarly furnished: beige, light brown, white. The same applies to the bathrooms. Beds and armchairs are very cozy. The views of the Hallig and the (Watten-) Sea are spectacular. The reception when picking up from the ferry and checking in is polite but Nordic undercooled. The atmosphere in the restaurant is different. Almost from the beginning, the staff here are nice to cordial. The breakfast buffet is very varied, rich and very tasty. Of particular note, however, is the dinner, to which 2 menus are offered every day, the corridors of which can be combined. We have now taken the third holiday in this hotel and have not yet experienced a breakdown in the food! The chef mixes elements of different regional kitchens and you marvel at the result. Not only does it look appetising, but it tastes as good as it looks. The special appeal of the hotel is the contrast between the surrounding nature and the comfort of the accommodation. Holidays in Ankers Hoern are something for all nature lovers who are looking for relaxation, who love beautiful views, birds, the North Sea and in particular the Watt as well as good food and coziness. Two comments at the end: It would be nice if there were a kettle for tea and coffee in the rooms. For the disabled, the new very modern e-bikes are only partially suitable.

Once arrived here and already enjoy nature delightfully. An unforgettable experience for body and soul. At low tide, flood and land below, there is always something to experience.
The room equipment is of high quality and furnished with love. The gastronomy is class, when the same unfortunately in the evening is offered only one menu. A 'la card is not offered. The choice of gastronomy on Hallig is modest.
In the morning at the Anker's Hörn, there is a rich breakfast buffet until 11 a. M. There's something for everyone.
After strengthening, get out into the diverse nature. Really dreamy.

There is no question of cordiality. We were picked up by a word-barren man in the hotel. No greeting, no address! We felt left alone… there was no information about Hallig or hotel.
The food was OK! Operation spoke poorly German… For the price we would have expected more. You can only eat 3 courses menu in the evening. There's nothing for the little hunger. Breakfast was good! Cake was also delicious.
The rooms are very nice and the hotel is very nice on the Hallig!

We stayed for 2 nights with our 1 year old son at anchors Hörn. We were welcomed in northern German. The rooms have a nice décor and all have a great view. Especially beautiful is the lounge "Uutblick", under the roof with lots of toys and DVDs for bad weather. The value for money is OK. The breakfast buffet is large enough to find everything the breakfast heart desires. What is not there can be inquired (e. G. Scrambled eggs). The lunch is very good and offers from meat to fish or vegan (that can be inquired) everything you need after a Halligspaziergang. In the afternoon you can also have a look in the wide sand with coffee and homemade cakes. The hotel itself is very child friendly, we could stay in the room even longer, so that the Lütte may still have a midday nap before departure.

The Hotel has been operational in 2010, the overall condition is good. Almost all rooms have direct views of the sea.
