A Guesthouse where we like to stay when we are in Hamburg. A nice quiet House, with nice Rooms, clean and friendly. By Car or public you can quickly find yourself in Hamburg and in the evening you can relax in a quiet Location. And the Prices are ok, too.

Die Unterkunft war schön, sauber und es gibt keinerlei Mängel die ich aufweisen kann. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Ich hab mich sehr wohlgefühlt. Super Pension!

I always come back for a few days from Switzerland to hold in Hamburg seminars. Since a couple of months, my preferred accommodation is one of the expensive and impersonal Hotels in Hamburg, where my seminar participants that want to part until midnight, even advice from me but in front of the gates of the city, the Pension Schmidt, where I was a member almost feel like a family, where I have the evening and in the morning my sleep, where I'm not at the Bar, the time you have to spend but for a walk in nature, relax and new energy to the gas station.

I was with my husband for a Few days before the gates of Hamburg. We have stayed at the Pension of Frau Schmidt and were satisfied. We are happy to recommend the house. We believe that it is ideal for travelers who want to sleep at night quietly during the day in the big city want to experience.

Great, welcoming site. With the prices and this beautifully looking outside as well as inside, I would like to stop here if necessary.

A long weekend in front of the gates of Hamburg, we have spent in the Pension Schmidt and would like to thank you, therefore, to extend heartfelt thanks to our hostess Ingrid. I have booked at the Pension Schmidt Rosengarten is a weekend alone for me. Huge Spa hotels I don't like so much, the Board was not quite break to my ideas for my three days. I was not disappointed. Friendly and bright rooms, a clean bathroom and Wi-Fi was also available. Haven't spent so much time in the Guesthouse, since I have used my time for long walks in the Region. Breakfast was tasty and sufficient. All in all, a nice stay. Would come back any time, love the peace and seclusion from the big city.

We were in June 2013. However, we were housed in Klecken. We found it fine. Super apartment close to a supermarket with bakery, 5 min walk to the train station, Klecken, which guarantees a hourly connection to the city Express Hamburg — Bremen. In 20 min we were in the Hamburg HBF. Could be more comfortable. And now to the apartment: clean, modern, with kitchenette and balcony — what more could you want. If we are back in the vicinity — at any time again here.

On fits well on your stuff …

Competition maybe the business, but … so from the beginning: We are "regulars" in the Pension Schmidt, when we come to Hamburg. Never, we have dirt, dust, or noise to discover, on the contrary, The Pension is located on the end of a quiet residential street with well-kept large garden, and that's the main thing: before the gates of Hamburg. It comes from the direction of the South without the traffic problems and Hamburg and can be reached on the next day, sleep in a car or on public transport at its destination in the City. The only Problem: the Board is sometimes fully booked, but there has been for some time an Online booking system, where you can look for. The Schmidt family provides always professional and attentive to the welfare of their guests, the rooms and apartments are, of course, clean and well equipped, this has to be mentioned in this context, the most extra! I am now pushed to the reviews on Google and suspect that it is "competitive battles" among the pensions, because the statements are not assessments, but verifiable false facts to describe. Perhaps what is meant is therefore also a "Pension Schmidt", there are several in Germany (Hamburg). And then the reviews are anonymous … very funny, but really, is it? As I said: everything is very suspect.

Old furniture is very stuffy air in the rooms… and a toilet with the other guests and sharing a shower.
