The spa/sauna area very dirty. Was neither cleaned nor used glasses tidied up (pool area) within 4 hours stay. Earth sauna full of leaves and door totally smeared-disgusting. We will not be back.

It is a super great hotel, here there is nothing to complain about, room top, location excellent, food/breakfast very tasty, we also had the pleasure of sitting by the pool and swimming with Bick on the 6, we will definitely come here again.

We were in the middle of October for the first Time with you. Absolutely thrilled we are. Very friendly staff, great Spa, food top, room large and clean. In the evening, Frederik was on the Piano and enchanted us with his music. In November we will come back. Maybe there will be a nice Upgrade.

We were here only for one night, but were totally fond. The hotel is very nice and well equipped.
The breakfast was delicious and rich. The bar has a nice ambience and on Saturday evening a piano player created a great atmosphere. There was even an extra room where poker and chess were ready.
The wellness area is great. From April you can also use the heated outdoor pool and has loungers all around, as well as a great view.
Only the service was quite overloaded in the bar and at breakfast. But all the employees were always friendly and attentive.
For me, it is clear: I will be happy to come back.

We're here for the third time now. Price performance very good. In the restaurant consistently very nice open-minded staff and when the time left it always ready for a short friendly conversation. Rooms very clean and functional. Unfortunately, no air conditioning, but you can see that beforehand. Only the MA reception does not meet the standard. Info that in the outdoor pool area duck droppings and dirt in the pool, would probably not be passed on despite commitment. Also info about the bus to Lüneburg more than moderate, too bad, slight lack of interest. But at the end of the day, but a nice stay. Since I would have my birthday in time, everything in the catering area was very friendly and attentive, certainly not normal in this day and age.

Well kept resort, close to Lüneburg. Nice pool and wellness facilities. Clean rooms and guest areas. Beautiful 18 hole golf course. Fantastic staff. Will definitely be coming back.

Nice hotel with good service. Weaknesses in the spa. Good buffet for dinner and also breakfast, also suitable for vegetarians. Very good waiter Mr. Wolf. He was very attentive and also very funny. We like to come back.
Sauna included but unfortunately not very clean. Very wet, extremely slippery floor, especially since the tiles are wrongly chosen for a diving Tenerife. In a shower (rainforest among other things) a lot of dirt in a corner, I found disgusting. As with our last two visits, the lockers did not work.
However, the hotel is definitely recommended.

Very well-run, comfortable and pleasant hotel. Sits next to the golf course and offers a good restaurant, excellent breakfast and great service to top. My wife and I enjoyed the stay on our way home to Baden-Württemberg.

Used cigarettes at 2 o'clock at night and Nix had asked for more on there and was sent to the vending machine in the house. Nice staff in any case!

Very nice Best Western Hotel. Big Spa area, nice clean room, good bar and the small details have convinced me too. Breakfast choices could offer larger variety.

Visit to the spa area: everything very clean and very nicely decorated. Very friendly staff. Massages and spa treatments can be booked in advance. It was a very nice day vacation!

Spa: Spa Area top! Everything your heart desires! Hamam Bath is unfortunately only usable if you book a treatment for this – a pity! Otherwise we would love to return! Facial treatment was great and worth every penny! Full Body massage more like a stroking, yet relaxing.
Rooms: all clean and comfortable. Bed very comfortable. On request, a kettle was brought to the room.
Gastronomy: "Normal" breakfast buffet, pancakes not recommended (were fried and therefore very greasy), food a la cart a little too expensive for what you get. But a big plus in the gastronomy: the service! Simply top!

Nice hotel, nice spa area. The food is very good. The location is a little outside, but by car to Lüneburg city it is about 10 minutes. The prices are relatively expensive.

The room was OK… the meal times were not flexible, although the normal breakfast times were not reasonable due to the staff's needs. I would have liked to have more flexibility on the point. The service staff had a few stress… others were very nice. I would rather avoid the hotel privately now…

Very nice. Great spa and offers. However, this also has its, albeit legitimate, price.

An exceptionally good hotel with a first class restaurant. The staff know their job and are very professional. The quality of the food is at the highest level. As well as the furnishing of the individual rooms. The service in the restaurant is precise, friendly and accommodating. The rooms have the correct size so that it does not overflow. The outdoor facilities could tolerate a little fresh wind, but this does not disturb you.
All in all a very high quality hotel.

A super great Hotel. Here, a visit is definitely worth it. It is something that we were there, but we like to think back to the stay. The Spa area and the treatments were super. The staff throughout the Hotel is very friendly and our room was wonderfully cozy. Of course, a great deal of praise for the great food. I am a travel agent and book the Castanea also more often for customers. Up to now it has all fallen. Price-to-performance ratio is super.

I have never seen such a thing!
My pregnant wife and I wanted to spend a nice whit weekend with their parents.
For this, my in-laws are extra arrived from Bayern.
We have weeks ago about booking two rooms. Com reserved and well paid.
My in-laws arrived Friday and have let Saturday morning still extra on the same floor fixed block our room since we could arrive later Saturday.
Rooms were so paid weeks ago and also Saturday morning blocked at the front desk.
When we arrived at 19:30 Saturday, the Lady at the front desk tells us that they overbooked the hotel and we must be in a different hotel.
The we have extra booked a weekend together with my wife's parents, seemed to be not important. To make merits overbook to lot sales, the customer is first no matter.
It's so cheeky, words fail me.
Also, it has felt the Hotel Manager does not need to apologize personally.
Thus all the weekend was ruined and we went home!
Thanks Best Western that you have ruined the weekend with your parents my pregnant wife.
We will put never again set foot in this hotel!

I have several times participated in further training in this location. The seminar rooms are good, as the catering.

I was very satisfied. It was a nice weekend. Super service! Great hotel.

Great hotel with wonderful wellness areas. Happy to be back. However the service at the hotel's bar I didn't like it at all. The staff at the bar was lifted up and was completely overwhelmed. Not good for a 4 star hotel.
