When we read the reviews after booking, we were very sceptical… We can not confirm the negative reviews, were there with 5 people. It would have been nice if the bar had been open.

The rooms are OK but unfortunately no hotel bar. Sauna area was OK but you can't get out.

I stayed at this hotel for business, which has a really good location near the city centre. I parked on a large public car park, as I have read here from the small hotel parking lot. The friendliness of the staff would be a little boosting. My room was quite well-kept but clean and of the size adequate. In January, however, to enter a room, which came closer to a refrigerator from the temperature, simply does not go. The room was extremely cooled. Two water glasses on the table and no water to it, I actually know this for a 4 * hotel so not.
Breakfast was good, a large selection of sausages, cheese and fruit. I then carefully noted the fresh milk, because it was many days overdue and has become very thick. Certainly an oversight, but actually not to apologize.
Three stars would be just reasonable for this hotel.

Super nice staff who give everything for the well-being of the guests, the hotel is certainly in its year and needs a renovation or a fabulous stroke here and there. Overall highly recommended for not always perfect claims …

Typical German business hotel. A little outdated roomwise, however clean and tidy. Good bed.
Shower was missing a curtain.
No AC so in summer it can be very hot.
Breakfast was excellent and good service.
All in all pretty good stay (3 nights).
Have not visited the restaurant as there is plenty of that in town.

Nice Hotel. Was ourer anniversary and we wanted to spoil ourselves with a suit and where a bit disappointed with it. Some of the lights didn't work and the basic interior/furnishings. The room needed to get updated. But you couldn't completed about the cleanliness. For us in this case, we couldn't see the value for money.

The restaurant deserves 5 stars.
But the room… Bathroom in need of renovation. Door to the shower full of rust stains… Marble floor with stains.
Unfortunately we could not use the sauna. Had asked at the reception if the sauna was in operation.
They wanted to hire them for us at a certain time… unfortunately, this did not happen.

The staff (young Team) in the Restaurant and the reception is always tried very hard! Also the head waiter, seeks improvements and suggestions to the kitchen to pass on. The Hotel is within walking distance, nice and centrally located to the old town of Lüneburg.

All in all, nice hotel. Didn't like the shower.

I can give no more than 2 stars. The "clean", the service and the friendliness of the staff at the reception and at breakfast left to be desired. This hotel advertises with 4 *, since you should expect, the double room / night, something guest for €130. And these are not dusty jars, waste residue from the guest before, cobwebs and and and… The service at breakfast was dropped completely? Coffee after 20 min. And only on demand by us… Buffet not filled… at least it is possible 2 employees in the service.
Price is right here and at all.
Each 3 * hotel is comfortable! The location of the hotel is good.

Everything in there and everything on it. My room for 89 euros was directly to the street. Not very quietly — you can hear even the passers-by in the room. Breakfast was nothing special but not bad either.

More than 2 stars, unfortunately we can not give. The staff is friendly but the rooms don't go! Several large dark stains on the walls and the curtains is broken. In addition, the Parking garage is so narrow, where one is really purely crimpings! Although some of the Parking is reserved, let others because of Parking. Really too bad for a "4 star Hotel"!

Great location, delicious Breakfast, Nice staff. The rooms are little by little modernized. The courtyard location is recommended.

Mattress is slightly sags. The Breakfast is perfect.

My rating refers to a very small part of the Hotel Bargenturms. I was at a wedding with my family in Lüneburg, and because a part of the family stayed in this Hotel, we have all of us the next day for Breakfast taken there. The Breakfast was good, the waiter unfortunately little attention. Instead of us to drink to ask (on the table coffee in thermos flasks, but we had children that would like to have tea or cocoa had) polished glasses. The Saftbehälter were already empty, since it needed new glasses. A pot of cocoa have my TWO children (10 and 8 yrs. ) but then, when I explicitly asked. Well, maybe the lady is having a bad day — doesn't matter, but when they pay, but then I'm from all the clouds have fallen, for both adults and children, all alike, 13, — Euro for a Breakfast! I thought that was for adults are appropriate for children, absolutely not, because the Buffet is not directed at children. As I said, the juice was all and Nutella and jam was in small Hotelportionspäckchen. The fresh deal were bacon, herring salad and pickled herring, etc Nothing for my children, but certainly not for all children. A price of 8, — had I, as a reasonably perceived, 13, but in no case. As I do this in Paying also friendly noticed, I was very snappishly dismissed. A pity, because we do not come back, and can here only 2 stars.

Pro: Good Location friendly staff, great Sauna area, good buffet Breakfast free Internet Cons: rooms to the street are incredibly noisy even with closed Windows Parking costs extra, but there is nearby free Parking Something old.
