This is the third time we have been able to visit us and we are always thrilled. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. And most importantly, our 2 fur noses are always welcome.

We took a little break in this house and celebrated our wedding day. It's always worth a trip. Not only the great staff who was always friendly courteous and helpful, but also the rooms super large perfect for us as a small family with child. The mill pond directly in front of the house invites you to walk. Corinna at breakfast and also Malte at the massage made this short trip unforgettable. The ladies at the reception were not only incredibly friendly, but have read my husband's wishes directly from the eyes. So it should be everywhere a great praise to everyone. We weren't here for the last time and are looking forward to the next visit.

Just everything great. Here the soul can really dangle. All employees are so concerned for the well-being and with the heart.

The hotel itself is okay. The rooms clean and the staff friendly. However, there are a number of points that should be raised. Because as a guest, you feel a little awkward. The hotel is located in the desert in a forest. Nothing at all. But pay extra for parking even though you are here for 160, 00€ / night? Bicycle rental 10€/day. No air conditioning, no fan. The biggest disaster, however, is the restaurant. After 60min we got drinks. Although only 4 tables were occupied and 3 waiters were at work. There is an urgent need for action here.

We stayed 5 nights here. We liked it very much. Rooms very clean and spacious. Staff very nice with a few exceptions. Pool and wellness area also very nice. The only thing that disappointed me a little bit was that you didn't get an appointment for a massage. Unfortunately, there are too few staff.

Outside could tolerate more care. Inside really very nice. Super nice operation but sometimes a little disorganized.

Very nice hotel with great Location on the arduous lake. The Buffet for Breakfast and in the Evening was delicious and the Service Very warm and always tried to fulfill all Wishes. The Spa Area with large Pool and various saunas is very well maintained and you can relax wonderfully.
All in all, it was a great Stay and certainly won't have been the last.

Rooms modernized, sauna unfortunately not, very outdated. Staff very friendly. Further recommended, however, the sauna area is too small for a whole day.

The first thing that stands out, of course, is the magnificent landscape, even if you live only a few kilometres away.
Throughout the entire stay, we met a friendly and pre-empted staff. The rooms are modernly furnished and the corrugated area invites you to sauna and rest.
We were allowed to enjoy the country house buffet. Full 10 points. We award the same for the breakfast buffet. All in all two very successful days.

Outdoor terrace full of foliage. In spite of sunny weather nothing is prepared for guests. Tables Dirty… Sun umbrellas and beach baskets closed despite the sun. What a pity…

Very large hotel, large airy rooms, all amenities, friendly and helpful staff. Basic dining, good spa. 90ies Retro style, reasonable prices.

Very nice hotel in a rural Idyll.
Around a nearby Lake, there is a very nice trail. Good food, a pleasant room overlooking the field and meadows, as well as the friendly staff have let us enjoy a nice entertaining stay.

In our room a mattress in a double bed was not been replaced guess, the other on the other hand. 5 cm difference in height and something by through the located to the springs with the hand is already felt. She was then replaced after complaint. Height difference remained still. Rooms were ok so far. Even fly before that. We had ordered us in advance E — bike's. My husband was ok, mine really impossible. Battery half-full, again shared by the staff and the same. Should the night been loaded be, just 6 kilometres, then it was blinking already (you so can get 40) as well not go gear, jumped over all the time, super relaxing bike tour. Released again and my husband we were allowed to pay anyway. €18… was not ok. On Saturdays from 23 OO clock bar closed, there no more there was… I could tell so much about the 2 nights… Probably not back such a wellness weekend in the Upstalsboom for us. What a pity.

My friend and I had decided spontaneously to the beginning of April the first advertised sunny weekend
to drive to the North Sea. On Wednesday I called so spontaneously at the Upstalsboom hotel and asked for a room.
Unfortunately, my girlfriend had on Thursday with suspected appendicitis in the hospital. I wrote a hotel
email in which I described the situation. Because I sure never got a reply I thought that the matter be
would have done so. Since I am self-employed and often longer can empty not my mailbox I was 3 weeks later
surprised by 2 letters of the hotel. The first letter with a request for payment over 222 euros for a "no-show"-fee, the
Second as a letter with the request to pay the fee up to 27 04 16. Then I called a day later
to clarify on Monday at the hotel to the thing and was on Mrs. Schramm from the accounting reference, but until
on Tuesday the 26th 04. Was to speak. I called Mrs. Schramm the next day and told her my problem. But instead of understanding
for my problem could (or wanted to) Mrs. Schramm does not understand me and explained that you is responsible only for the Bills and
I would have had to react to the statement Yes 3 weeks time. The above reasons, I figured her several times, did not seem to you
to understand. Apparently to avoiding in the hotel industry in addition to the actual training specific training for dealing
with customers.

I had to spend my time in many hotels. Here, every guest corporate culture experienced in its purest form. I will professionally and also privately still very happy to visit this hotel, spend a relaxing time and put love to attend each at heart this hotel and experience it yourself. I am regular and for good reason!

Top Spa Hotel with a large recovery factor in North Sea close to.

I was with my friend from the 08.01.2016 to 10.01.2016 in the Upstalsboom Hotel Friesland. The hotel is well signposted and therefore easy to find. The staff is friendly and helpful. We booked our holiday on kurzurlaub. De: here, please note that the room categories do not match the names of the hotels, so that a booked comfort double room (about kurzurlaub. De) corresponds to a premium double room in the hotel. There was for us to misunderstandings regarding the chosen room category. We got a comfort double room, although we had booked a premium double room. After we had announced at the reception, the error was seen (almost) immediately from the hotel, and we got a premium double. The premium double room are spacious and stylishly furnished. Wi-Fi (HotSpot) in the House is good, as soon as the device however is switched off and switched on again, you must log in again / log on. In particular the Spa in the country hotel Upstalsboom Friesland has lured us. The Rasul was also one of our package "ErholungPur". That was really great! (Steam & mud as my friend say would be:D) Swimming pool with several saunas (5-6) and relaxation areas, as well as a whirlpool belonged also to the Spa. Everything looks clean and neat! Special thanks to the staff at the Spa! Special tip: on Friday, an employee of the hotel is a small lead in the swimming pool and Spa. That was a super help to find your way!

This hotel fulfills every wish. It is located in a quiet area directly by the mill pond that invites to long walks with or without a dog. The dogs will be greeted warmly and feel very at home. Whether as a business traveller, alone, with family, friends, whether or not animals… always a place of absolute relaxation and well-being. Here you can really get for money. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful in all aspects. For years, am I at least 1-2 x a few days there, use one of the great deals, and Todd energy. The Spa, the room and the overall offer are made for me. The hotel has a size, which allows more familial warmth. I feel there very well, and to me, my whole family, two dogs, and many of my friends.
In this way thanks to the entire team. We were just there, and it was again really nice;o) )

POSITIVE: The room (in our case, Premium rooms with balcony) are large and modern furnished, free Parking available, the house makes a visually good impression, there is free W-Lan is available, the reception staff is very friendly and helpful, the Spa area invites you to relax, the Breakfast buffet is rich, in-room safe, Minibar incl. Filling is included in the room rate NEGATIVE: The Hotel is located far away from the shot, the Housekeeping is a little sloppy (soap and facial tissues were only after a request refilled, balcony was not cleaned, no air conditioning or Ventilation in the room, very dim lighting at Breakfast (dim light), no ceiling light in the room (this room in the dark not really bright)

This Hotel and Restaurant is the ultimate! I have a birthday party with about 40 people (child& cone& dog) is planned. Since I'm on the Internet on this plant to become aware of. It is a Hotel, which of course would have been perfect. It is a Restaurant, which even advertises, extra a fresh and healthy Hundemenü to prepare! So this system would ACTUALLY fulfil all! Since I myself form a judgment wanted, we are on Sunday to drink coffee and eat cake then dangers. After we have received have finally found us with our Zwergrauhaardackel into a Restaurant, have set, we were very unfriendly (without greeting) from the Restaurant as directed. I asked what the reason was and I was again very brusquely said, the dog is not pure. As I asked in surprise, why not, if even with a Hundemenü advertised?! Then came back very unfriendly, we go into another room and need to go. As we are in that dark, musty smelling and dirty room, we asked a different waitress (we still have not sat) because if we already know what we want (the lady was just as rude)! I then asked him why because the soil here is so dirty, then came a patzige answer, it still is not clean (it was well after 14.30 PM and it was already for the dinner the experiment), this response (in the sound) then the brink! The Hygiene there's a no-go! Even if there is later sucked would be (which I do not believe), it was already covered and the dust would then be used for the napkins and the Cutlery set!

We actually wanted a wedding with 70 people and a few dogs to celebrate. But what to us during an attempt to Testessens happen is I have in my whole life and have not experienced, although on the Internet so advertised is the fact that it is freshly cooked dishes for dogs can get was our dog anything other than welcome. We were allowed, for reasons of hygiene, not to the normal guest's room to take place but were in the fireplace room directed. On my question what my dog was unhygienic was quite rudely responded that it people with Hundehaarallergie would be. Why do I then Hundefreundlichkeit? Well, doesn't matter we have to stop sometimes in the fireplace room at all. Here I have but then my dog prohibited to take place, for reasons of hygiene. The floor was very dirty and the tables have already no longer damp rag to be seen again. I have the employee made aware of and was brusquely angepflaumt that you have not gotten be neat to make. The friendly response of the staff has led me to the place to leave immediately. When you leave, we are then through the rear part of the Gastraums gone. As I had to find one is here, in the last week, apparently not yet come clean! The Dirt there was to be seen can't possibly be a day! We then have our wedding in a castle at the Westersteder flying club booked. We were royally served and our dog was also Welcome and even though there not to advertise that one of the dogs for.

Good day, since I for my wife, a Wellness holiday on the previous day wanted to book was our idea, with the family in the connected Locally to drink coffee. Four adults and a small dog, on the Tischsuche, there came a fellow to us, told us very unfriendly with, that hyg. We are with the dog in the fireplace room for us to have gone. Very surprised by the way, after all, is the Internet with extra built Hundegerichten advertised, we went into the fireplace room. Another employee went behind us and asked me in a tone I absolutely cannot'm used to, what now would be. I replied, then excused myself almost, that we are yet to look would be. I noticed that the entire floor, as well as the tablecloths in a very filthy condition. My comment that the floor is very dirty, I got the answer Key, I do not want to mention, we are still not done with Cleaning up the mess. Time 15:00 on Sunday, 19.07.2015! Even the carpeted floor, where our small dog's Hygiene because of not allowed to stay, was very dirty. This house with its staff is an absolute Prime example of the worst Service and cleanliness. I can only recommend a wide arc around this house to make.

We are in July 2015 for 5 days here and the bad reviews do not understand. Obviously one has responded, because the staff here is consistently nice. Longer reaction times at the Bar and call the front Desk I as Frisian Serenity. (I have the call to the front Desk 15x ring…) Everything is acceptable. The Breakfast is very good. Variety and variations guarantee for all a flavour hit. Leaked batteries in my electric toothbrush were even free of charge by the room service replaced. Minor flaws are: cosmetic mirror is poorly lit. On the bed there is no electrical outlet (not really) Another outlet is dead. The light in the bathroom and walk-in closet are just reacting to the motion detector, and a short night Klogang is then to Blendmanöver. The Sound of the TV in the comfort room is buzzing at medium volume. The guest house IS very clairaudient. We were in the first room from the Lobby, in the wood flooring is, what each Kofferrollen like a bunch of skaters to experience. The hallway has fitted carpet, entertaining guests, you hear, unfortunately, is fine. The entire area Is beautiful, but all offers are strongly entangled and partially hidden created. So divided the Spa on 2 houses, the main house cover Pool, sauna and relaxation area on three floors. Is not bad, but you have to like. The patio area in the Restaurant could be once again a bit of Hollywood use.

The Service is shit. For the second time, about 40 minutes for a Cup of coffee waiting. On demand there were only arrogant shake of the head. This Hotel had so much Potential for other personnel. I can in good conscience anyone expect of this Hotel.

Nice hotel. The hotel was renovated after the takeover (after bankruptcy) by Upstalsboom and rebuilt. The rooms in the main House are very beautifully decorated but also quite warm in the summer because there is no air conditioning. Big plus point in my eyes for this room is the Wi-Fi available, which is unfortunately not provided in the Guest House. Who stayed but for business here and much on the phone will get large problems.
Gastro and breakfast is very good. The breakfast has to offer for all tastes. Only the prices in the restaurant are user submitted.

How there is dealt with the employees, is hard to describe.
There, the employees are the last dirty, unfortunately this is supported also by the management.
To the positive reviews here reading, only one thing occurs to me! Self-praise stinks.
