There are hardly any parking spaces here as the location is in a direct pedestrian zone.
It is also clear that you have to reserve a place in the restaurant. Only that even hotel guests (who have booked the hotel only 4 hours in advance) have no options, that is strange for me. (I haven't experienced it like this before). Since I stay in some hotel every day in Germany, I can judge that well.
Breakfast is also much too late for me, everything is just made for holidaymakers.
Otherwise, the room fits. Everything clean and good.
But because of the parking situation I can not recommend the hotel.

Nice place nice rooms, unfortunately the water a bit too high in the price 4€, 0.5 liters at the house bar. Otherwise we liked to stay there, nice staff. Breakfast was also fine unfortunately without boiled eggs.

Very good! The "home love" was super delicious! The fish perfectly fried-greeting to the cook! The service was very attentive. On a balmy summer evening, the outdoor ambience was very nice and inviting.

Super tasty the dyichlammburger, but actually everything is highly recommended. I'm there for dinner at least once a year when I'm on holiday in The North/North Deich. Always a must. The staff is also great!

What should be written big here!? every visit ends in great perfection. Whether you are "just" looking at the restaurant, "only" the hotel or just both.
An absolutely lovable, charming, attentive crew in the hotel and in the service, large, clean, cozy and beautifully maritime furnished rooms and true artists in the kitchen.
Whether fish, meat or vegetables, everything is always fresh, crisp, hot, of high quality, excellently prepared, in large portions and perfectly tasted. Special wishes and, of course — allergies are taken into account, and vegetarians are also very well catered for. Also the wonderful wines must not be forgotten!
Both the hotel and the restaurant (and the partner restaurant "Dock N8" are family-friendly, children — and dog-friendly.
An absolute recommendation! A holiday in the beautiful city of Norden, or in the district of Norddeich, is unthinkable without at least a visit here. It would be like the North Sea without watts, like fries without ketchup, like life without joy.
It's just a gem. You feel welcome, valued as a guest and simply comfortable.
A guarantee for great food, nice hours in a great ambience and very pleasant nights with fantastic breakfast.
We will come back at any time and from the heart.

The food tasted very good and the staff was very nice and accommodating. We also felt very comfortable in the rooms in the Smutje. Conclusion: Always happy to recommend with the best conscience.
