My husband and I stayed 4 nights at the hotel. We were also looking for peace, relaxation, just wanted to get out. In short, it was very nice days. We really liked the spa/wellness area. Redesigned and just tasteful. When choosing a room, you should take the slightly better rooms.
Staff: Very attentive, friendly and eager to find solutions.
My recommendation for a little break.

We can really recommend the hotel to everyone, whether wedding party, wellness weekend or a restaurant visit, it is worth it.

A really nice hotel … great SPA area.

We (couple with dog) are already 5 times as guests in this hotel. First of all, we would like to say that it was always beautiful, from the personal reception to the large rooms to the always delicious food. It is also nice to see that further investment has been made in the spa area, which takes the hotel to another level. Wow
We will discuss the things that we did not like so much at check-out tomorrow, as I find this more beautiful and constructive than to leave out about it on the Internet.
Visit No. 6 will surely follow in 2020.

Why the hotel is called "Romantic Hotel" is not clear to me either.
Room definitely too expensive — luckily we had booked an offer via a portal and therefore saved about 40%.

Reception was friendly and good, room in order — but I can't tell the difference between standard and comfort rooms.
As another guest wrote, a "wonderful" view of a courtyard interior wall about 1.50m away — and that at a comfort room.
Unfortunately no gauze windows (counts for me now as standard equipment), Köter in the dining room — dogs (except blind dogs or care dogs) have nothing to look for for me in a restaurant.
Mustard dried at the breakfast buffet for two days.
During the day information for breakfast there were different times during the "guided tours" in the chocolate factory.
But the tour itself is a joke and not a guide — a dry lecture of about 10min in the sales room, no insight into the production or production.
The booked rose bath was in the room, was decorated with rose petals and a tea light, but you could have pointed it out at the time of booking — in a 4 Stere hotel you can expect something different.
Have already booked several rose baths (even in not 4 star houses) and they were significantly more romantic.

A beautiful quiet, owner-managed country hotel on the outskirts of the city. Value for money in order for what is offered. Very good breakfast, nice ambience and outdoor facilities. Also visited the in-house pizzeria. Everything is delicious and freshly prepared and special requests are also addressed. Highly recommended.

Very nice hotel with a beautiful garden.
As it is a four-star hotel, the prices are higher but reasonable.
But food and drinks are top and leave no wishes unfulfilled.
To this day, the state border of Thuringia and Saxony runs through the house and is marked with a boundary stone.

I have to say that I have never slepted here before — often eaten… Friends, family, company… etc. Probably any home cooking is better than eating this kitchen. 0815 Edible and not approaching better than the next kebab grill nearby — only more expensive… whosoever likes a lot of fun and good hunger! The main thing is you don't choke on the bill!

Hello, Servus and Greetings, you were welcomed on arrival.
It is a very nice hotel that is quietly located.
There are very nice rooms and guest rooms for example. The coachman's parlor.
There is a good kitchen which also provides a very rich breakfast for the guests in the early morning.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel in Saxony with construction site on the federal road with friendly staff and chocolate shop in Thuringia. Is located outside the town centre a bit remote from the place. The rooms in the old building are not easily accessible and winding. Due to the many stairs not suitable for all guests.

Great breakfast, nice service, everything nice tidy and clean. The food was top class and the ambiance very pleasant. Always happy to return.

We have been a frequent guest in this great hotel, this time we have indulged in New Year's Eve. The celebration was successful all around and both food and entertainment were a feast for the senses. The fireworks at midnight were the icing on the cake. A great scenario on a balmy night. The evening is Ausgeklungen at a midnight snack and dance. There is nothing to complain about in the rooms and breakfast does not leave any wishes open. Always recommended and happy to return.

I'm sure we'll be back. For us, there was nothing wrong with the visit of the hotel. The staff is very friendly and has always met our needs. The rooms are large and clean. We only booked with breakfast, but were also able to get a table in the well-attended restaurant thanks to the reception. The food was really top and well worth the price. The staff always had a look for us. We felt well-kept. Also the breakfast buffet should be something for everyone. This is very rich and even chocolate from your own manufactory gets you. For us it was a nice weekend where everything fit.
A small downside is the small sauna area. He'd like to be bigger.

Nice hotel with a great breakfast buffet. A good reminder is the possibility to rent bicycles. There was a great landscape in the area. Negative were the menus we got in the evening. It was not asked but simply superior. At least we would have liked to have had the choice between the day and Menüsuppe at the soup. The same applies to the main dish.

Within the framework of a club ride with the dance school way we have as well as the whole hotel filled. Something in the countryside, it was exactly for our purposes right. The staff is courteous and pleasantly communicative. The connected chocolate factory is an unexpected and very compelling climax. Personally, I particularly liked that our room had a window. It's now really not Hotel typical. Very relaxing, I felt even the large enough parking. The kitchen deserves great praise, even if we had not much time to eat.

We have celebrated our wedding this year and are very unhappy with the service. Although the hotel is very chic with a beautiful garden and good food, but the service was quite poor. The service staff were unfriendly, unmotivated and rarely to be found, the water on the tables more often all and orders have been executed partly very slow. Our wedding was stopped by the light was turned on and the chair covers were withdrawn without prior notice or consultation. After we then expressed criticism, everything was denied by the Hotel Manager simply. We would have expected more from such a hotel. We are very sad, dealing here with guests or any criticism and not recommend therefore the hotel in this respect.

Very good ambience. Staff and Service are TOP-notch! The Frühstücksbufett is the Hammer: four varieties Bruchschokolade and Nougattorte. And of course all the other refinements, for Breakfast. The hotel Park is small, but beautifully created. We have us felt very comfortable and will come back for sure.

We have the 2. Weekend of advent 2014 spent at the Hotel. We were from the rooms, the excellent food, the left nothing to be desired and, in particular, the attention and friendliness of the staff impressed. It was one of the best Hotels in which we have a weekend spent in and be an at any time further-recommend, as well as in any case come back.

Location and facilities of the hotel were without defects. It was neither in the Service, nor eat, what to suspend. This Hotel we will recommend them at any time.
