Well done! From the city center only three stops or no more than five minutes. Walk 20 minutes if you don't hurry. On arrival offered a free dinner but could not, as there were other plans. The Breakfast is excellent, really, no porridge. Coffee, fruit, sweet eat, juices too. Overall, A lovely place. The Room is spacious though the bed is single. The room was very clean. It's better Downstairs.

Appropriate but quite pleasantly clean rooms with a Wi-Fi connection that should not be relied upon: With a little more visit to the house, it is completely available and a connection is no longer possible. The rest of the equipment is fine. The food is divided into two classes: Breakfast is really good, it's something to have from all directions, whether sweet or savoury; Vegan alternatives are also available. Dinner, on the other hand, is thankfully free during the week. Paying for it would be a waste of money; The dishes have been noticeably more often warmed up, completely overcooked and all too salty, even the sweet rice of milk (! ). If you want to insinuate evil intentions to someone here, you could say that they want to increase sales of drinks that are chargeable. A big plus of your stay at the academy hotel is the fact that you get a ticket for the Jenaer local transport for free, for the entire period in which you are a guest there.

Very quiet, nevertheless central. Perfect breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.

I have been a regular guest for 12 years and was able to follow the modernization of the facility. The rooms have become really great. There is a rich evening — and breakfast buffet (those who arrive before 9pm will still receive dinner).
The employees are always friendly and are at the side of questions with advice and assistance. Quite a thick thumbs up.

A very nice hotel.
Mattresses might be a bit tougher, but that's a matter of taste.
The advantage here is that breakfast is included and there is a free evening buffet for hotel guests from Monday to Friday.
Free Wi-Fi and a ticket for public transport is also included.

Academy Hotel = conference hotel Since the employer did not finance lunch, there was no care for the conference guests either!? Great service!

Food was top and super nice staff. My grandparents have celebrated their diamond wedding there. Rooms were also adequate. Recreational activities could be better.

Those who want to spend a good night and eat are right here. Always new dinner buffet with all you can eat. The breakfast was very good. The rooms, the sanitary facilities as well as the whole hotel are very clean and tidy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were at least 15x here and always happy to come back.
PS: A special service is that one gets one day ticket for the Jena Local transport.
From the hotel you can easily reach many sights by public transport and at any day or night.

Very good hotel The breakfast buffet and the dinner is good and for everyone. 1 point I prefer because of the very soft beds which led me to back pain in the morning afterwards but otherwise a top hotel and further recommended.

Super Hotel to stay overnight in transit. Are three times a year here and always fully satisfied.

The first impression from outside was not particularly convincing.
The location is very good. You can rübergucken to the stadium. The nearest train station is a 1 minute walk from the hotel and you will be in the city centre in no time.
From the inside, however, very modern and chic. Related to reception, restaurant etc.
The rooms are very small but for a weekend getaway enough if you want to see something from the city and not just squat in the room.
Breakfast and supper were good and something for everyone. Dinner is unfortunately only included in the price Monday-Friday. On weekends you pay extra.
For the stay you will also get a train and bus ticket.
For a 2 star hotel I was very positively surprised.

The Isotonic sports drink after the training was denied. And it would certainly have become a two more, but you absolutely wanted to close and not leave open for 8 thirsty people.

Room was located at the beginning of the hallway or directly at the front door. From 6 o'clock in the morning the sleep was over because of the noises of the door, which was very well heard in the room. Everything else (breakfast, staff etc. ) was very good according to the price-performance ratio.

Generally a great place to stay, nice staff but very poor Wi-Fi. Wasn’t able to load a single webpage.

Ok one night stopover hotel, rooms basic but clean and comfortable. Good food and cheap beer!

The Akademie Hotel is a small seminar hotel in Jena, very good reachable by car or tram. It's in the opposite of the stadium, parking space is for free. The hotel isn't the best address for romantic visits, but for business meetings. I was a participant in a business workshop, so I only know the seminar rooms, information desk and lunch. The seminar rooms are absolutely ok with a great welcome service. Coffee was always available, not only when we had a break. The service employees at reception desk are very helpful, professional and charming. Lunch: All workshop participants had a choice of 3 meals for lunch, which we ordered before lunchtime. But a surprise, we could taste everything, so I can suggest the lunch, too. Thank you to the service team of Akademie Hotel for their very good all-round service.

Location: 3 tram stops away from city centre. Service: 60 euro incl. Breakfast and supper. Good Wifi connection. Room: Typical and clean room.

Very quiet despite the location. Spots on the wallpaper, hair in the bathroom. Could be a total clean. Floor coverings. Beds comfortable and warm blankets. Room quite spacious. Monday to Thursday evening dinner here. Nothing special, but better than fast food. Staff is very trying.
