I have been to Motel One Hamburg — Alster several times and the prices have always been stable. Now the price of the car park has been increased from 15 euros (which is already very high) to 18 euros per day. In my opinion, this is totally inappropriate if you put the price of accommodation for the hotel room on the other hand. For me, this is a reason to look for a cheaper alternative on your next visit to Hamburg. There are also hotels that remain fair in terms of parking. Apart from that, I was always satisfied, practical, friendly staff, good transport links.

Great price, convenient to public transportation. No on site parking. Excellent breakfast. Very comfortable rooms. I will go there again.

Very clean hotel with a nice ambience. The rooms are small, but well thought out and in a top condition. In particular, the good and courteous service is worth mentioning here. We travelled with a 6 month old baby. We tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible and to respond to our wishes. The staff were always friendly and accommodating, we felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back!

The Motel-One in Hamburg (Alster) shines with very friendly staff, who are also very happy to help with individual questions about Hamburg. I liked that very much. Individual wishes (I wanted a room as far up as possible) are also addressed without further ado. I also liked this very much.

The rooms themselves are much smaller than in other Motel One. The cleanliness was fine and otherwise everything was right. I would stay here again if I was in Hamburg.

Very nice service and great rooms … Everything is very tastefully decorated. Beautiful bathroom area. It was looking clean and tidy. The breakfast buffet was also very good and plentiful. Can I only recommend.

Very friendly staff, all super clean and a breakfast that makes all the wishes. The reception. — and breakfast room has been redesigned since our last visit.
Conclusion: Hotel can be recommended without hesitation.

Very good and clean hotel. For a city break highly recommended as super well connected. All employees are attentive and friendly. Only to be aware that there are few free tables available at breakfast at rush hour and you also have to queue here. So either go early or late. There's plenty of choice for that. I highly recommend the hotel.

Tidy rooms, fresh breakfast and very friendly service. Just a bummer that the parking lot cannot be reserved beforehand.

Always like to go to the motel one for city tours. You know what you can expect. Nice, clean ambiance and delicious breakfast. In St. Georg you are in the middle of it, you can walk wonderfully on the outer Alster to the maiden climb.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms are small but adequate and clean as well as tidy. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Also the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Especially convenient is the subway station in front of the door and the possibility to also walk to the central station. We would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Small rooms, but the price ratio is the same. We got what we could expect for our money.
Breakfast is a small challenge in the morning. For the size of the hotel clearly too few places. But the breakfast is worth it and the price is absolutely fine.

Perfect to have a drink in the evening. Also close enough to the center. Rooms are very clean and with good views over Hamburg (up to the 19th floor). Breakfast is also vielfäktig and tasty.

Great breakfast, nice rooms. The bed where a little hard though. On the downside was that they only had french toast on the evening.

Great location. Rooms and bathrooms are not very large. Big everything is new, modern and conveniently designed. Breakfast is chaos though — go to the café/Baker across the Street.

Nice cozy hotel. A star deduction as we had to wait about 15 minutes Saturday at 9am because there was no room for breakfast. However, the buffet was really super fresh and tasty and the organization of the staff was top.

Why stars… if you get even without everything you need?! I like the concept of motel one: it doesn't need stars to offer its guests on surprisingly little room yet quality, standard and comfort. The thoughtful, stylish and efficient furnishings really impressed me.

Positive the location negative the queue at breakfast stowed up in front of the elevator, because there are not enough breakfast places (due to the breakfast queue, the departing guests do not have to be nice). This was a stressful and very unsightly morning situation, so you do not imagine a Sunday morning in the hotel. That's no fun the staff were genuinely anxious and even asked to pay for breakfast. At the motel one at the airport in HH it all went a little better.

Very comfortable, the rooms are a little small but we are also just for sleeping. The hotel is very modern and comfortably furnished, which creates a great atmosphere. All the staff are friendly and also the breakfast is recommended.

Very comfortable, small rooms but large room does not need either. It's just for sleeping. But great beds. So everything as it should. And at a fair price.

Was very surprised about the hotel. Very clean and well maintained. Nice atmosphere. The rooms are small but nice. Early is rich and good. Those who value bio are in good hands there. A plus point is that the subway station is just around the corner and you get to the center so quickly. Suitcase I could leave without a problem there although I had already checked out and had another appointment. So highly recommended.

Motel One stands for my terms for cheap accommodations with clean and elegant therefore coming modern rooms, which are almost identical everywhere. So if you know one of these hotels, everyone knows. Apart from the Dekofeinheiten adapted to the city in the foyer.

The Motel One Hotel Alster is a very nice hotel. The staff is very friendly and the rooms, though not very large, are very functional and stylishly furnished. Overall, the entire interior design is modern and harmonious. The breakfast is simple but high quality and adequate. Moreover, you can walk very quickly on the long row, on the Alster and the main train station is also reachable by foot or subway.

I have been to the Motel One Alster several times, as well as for several days. As always everything top. Clean. Neat and modern. The beds and rooms are also good. Breakfast and service, etc. All without flaws. Like to come back. The connection to the train station and the metro is also great.

Nice staff, very good breakfasts, comfy beds, rooms could be bigger, little storage space (no wardrobe). The subway is convenient and fast in the center. Motel good, environment not special.

All right, as always with Motel One. If it's not quite as central, the subway is right outside the door. And who likes is in a few steps by the water.

I was in Hamburg for work. I did not know in which kind of hotel I would stay over night. And I was blown away when I saw the hotel and my room. It's amazing there. I would definitely come back!

The hotel is highly recommended. We were there for 2 days and saw a lot. We looked at King of the Lions and it was very nice. So Hamburg is a beautiful city.

Great hotel. The rooms are really nice. Loved the design of the lobby and the gun selection is awesome. There can be problems with finding a place to sit for breakfast though.

The mattress was the most comfortable I have slept in a while. But maybe I was just tired and drunk. Nice breakfast and fairly friendly staff: that Lucia or whatever was her name at the reception… She is something. Elegant place but with no style.

Das Hotelzimmer ist für uns drei etwas knapp geschnitten. Das Frühstück müssten wir heute früh ausfallen lassen, da eine lange Schlange Wartender quer durch das Foyer und den Frühstücksbereich keinerlei "Gemütlichkeit" versprach und wir mindestens 20 Minuten hätten anstehen mussen. Die Ausstattung ist sauber und neu, das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Preis angemessen bis günstig.

Super location and great rooms. Unfortunately, the Breakfast is hopelessly overcrowded. The staff remained friendly and tried to coordinate everything. The Service was excellent, rarely so friendly and helpful experienced staff. Happy again!

Typical Motel One near the train station of Hamburg. The Parking in the underground garage are video, finally, Parking spaces are rising that allow you to from the comfort of your car. The staff is friendly and courteous. I felt very comfortable there.

Nice hotel, very modern and newly renovated. Friendly and helpful staff, very clean and well appointed rooms (the beds are a bit soft for my liking), a good bar and breakfast service.

We have Bay to the Hamburg Marathon in the Motel One. At the time, offered due to renovations, no Breakfast. It's replacement was Free coffee and Croissants in the Foyer. The rooms are, as usual, expedient, modern and clean.

Inexpensive yet well-designed hotel in the heart of Hamburg. I admit I'm absolutely in love with those Tiffany Blue chairs in the reception area. The hotel staff is always so friendly and helpful. Very nice room — comfy bed, fast (and free) Internet, clean bathroom. Really enjoyed my stay here!

Very small but nice room. Very good Service. Nice Staff. However, my shower head has geqietscht the whole night, which was a bit annoying. On the basis of which made the reception of new, it was at Breakfast time a little stressful, but absolutely still in order.

It was okay, but in my opinion the room was to small.

The room was very clean, recommend for a weekend. Unfortunately, the bed fell on or off a Reading light and you could only use the ceiling lighting. Very impractical. Bathroom not accessible for the disabled, to high shower entrance, it handles missing as a holder for the shower towel. No floor Mat, it slips when you get out of the shower to the floor tile.

Alles sauber, gute Verkehrsanbindung trotzdem ruhig.

Super room for a short trip. Very clean. Modern, mattresses a bit to soft, Breakfast room too crowded and noisy for my taste but in front of the door, there is enough choices, great access to subway 1min away, I can recommend more.
