Lovely hotel, decor is beautiful inside, very friendly staff, breakfast very tasty, would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is located on the edge of the st. Georg district, this should be considered as a woman travelling alone. Personally, I didn't want to leave the hotel alone in the evening. Accompanied, of course, is no problem.

I really loved staying here. My kind of mix. Such a cute hotel with the charm I was looking for. Everything was just perfect. Especially the silent in the mornings. Loved it!

Clean, friendly, relatively expensive, centrally located, large rooms, nice bathroom, large shower, with lockable parking in the backyard, no nice view from the room, manageable but very good breakfast. Come back.

Very well maintained house with the charm of a stately villa; beautiful furniture, friendly staff, good breakfast buffet and nice service, all in a multicultural environment and close to the station. We would go back at any time. Since no elevator in the house is not necessarily suitable for people with reduced mobility. (Couple both 68 years)

Very nice place to stay. Tongue in cheek Landhaus intérieure. Splendid room service, even late at night. Location is quite good, just a couple of minutes walking distance to central station. Room was clean, cosy and very high-ceilinged. Rather small bathroom but large TV screen. All in all a fun stay.

An old, incredibly lovingly decorated city villa, very individual, very well maintained and tasteful. The breakfast is delicious, the people who work here are all around nice, friendly and cheerful. An exceptional alternative to motel one and co.
and the location? In the midst of a colourful part of the city that has more to offer than is found in popular guidebooks.

If you are looking for something special, a variety of simple, single-standard hotels, the Hotel City House will find a very own small universe. Here, an interior designer in color and style has realized in a safe and original way. Nothing of the individual things with which the hotel is adorned, I would probably buy separately, but as a total composition it results in both a surprising and a real work of art. The chosen color palette is unusual but simply wonderfully harmonious and everything fits together. The baroque furniture fits perfectly into the premises, the carpet reminds a little of English pubs and framed oil paintings in the hallways look at a nobleman and officers in a neat uniform. With the difference that they are dogs. Unfortunately, there is a sharp contrast on the road. The proximity to the central station is clearly noticeable and the surroundings seem schmuddlig, uncomfortable and felt on the surrounding streets 100% of people of non-German origin. "They don't do anything, " it says in the hotel, something we would like to believe but nevertheless we feel a little uncomfortable. At the nearby Hansa Platz many homeless and other lost people without prospects. Police patrols make sure that it stays calm, place references, lastly. It's not a nice neighborhood. You would rather stay at the hotel, where the staff is very friendly and helpful.

I am really positive surprised. The hotel is nice, clean and cosy. In the room a comfortable big bed, a mini bar, a big wardrobe, an electric kettle. The bathroom is modern and well equipped. Looks and furniture style move you in the early 20th and it works well with the building character. Staff is friendly and helpful. Remark: there is no any elevator only stairs, so it is not a place for people who have problem with walking.

Unsuspected in a small side street, a narrow entrance… But inside really very appealing and well maintained. Loving and tasteful interior design. Our room was perfect. Nice spacious bathroom, comfortable beds, enough space and quiet. Clear recommendation.

We booked a room for 3 persons that was actually really big, with 3 decent beds. The bathrooms were newly renovated and everything was very clean. The decoration was a bit extreme but that is a matter of taste I guess.

Centrally located near the main train station. But is relatively quiet.
Rooms are okay.
The breakfast is good.
The staff is very friendly.
The price-performance ratio is satisfactory.
I checked in here twice and would do it again.

Good location with nice and clean yet a bit dated rooms. We opted for one of the larger ones which also includes a kitchen. If you are sensitive noise from the pipes is a little noisy.

Had expected better quality for a 4 star hotel but I still had a good stay. Location is near train station on a small backstreet — a bit scary late at night! The staff were friendly and spoke English for us which was needed! We did not have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that.

Staff are very helpful and friendly. We booked a superior room and weren't disappointed. Very clean, very comfortable with great decor. Close to all amenities being 5 mins from Hauptbhanhof. Breakfast is fantastic. Very peaceful at night too. Great value hotel.

Very cute and friendly hotel in the English style. Friendly staff and good service. The location is not so good. Although very central but little Africa. All around very dirty. But I fully recommend this hotel.

Highly recommended! Small but fine Very very clean Hotel, Breakfast is fresh and versatile. Only with the Hamburger baked goods, we were not quite so happy ^^. And the second reason why it's not 5 stars is just one more little thing, but after 2 — 3 days a bit disturbing. By the lack of tabs on the towels, it is also not possible to vorgesehenden chop in a small bathroom to hang up. But by and large recommended! We come back again.

Somewhat of a hidden gem. While the surroundings might feel slightly seedy worth sex shops on the next street over this is a beautiful hotel worth attentive and polite staff, decent prices and the room we have been given is unexpectedly luxurious in particular the size. A place we will definitely user again when we come to Hamburg and one I wouldn't hesitate to recommend if you can look past the neighborhood.
