Were very satisfied… Very nice staff…

Very nice and understanding staff, our arrival was delayed and after a short call we were able to check in even after 18:00.
Super flexible, we were able to extend spontaneously another day.
The next stay in Berlin will definitely be here again.

Reasonable rooms at a fair price, very nice staff, breakfast we still have to try out, near — and long-distance traffic are super accessible.

Not clean and dilapidated.
The bartender was borderline aggressive with a whimsical card.

We were pleasantly surprised, super friendly and great service, even the rooms are really great, we would check in there anytime, thumbs up!

On the whole it wasn’t a terrible experience. Most of the staff were friendly enough however some could use an updated customer services workshop. Location wise it’s close to the nearby shopping centre & tram lines. Our rooms were big and clean. Only downside was no kettle in the rooms which meant having to spend more money for tea/coffee. Our biggest complaint was that the hotel did not inform us there was a big function on our last night which meant we would have to eat elsewhere. We had had a long day and wanted to just get food there (as we had done on previous nights) however they said we couldn’t. Which meant we had to traipse about looking for a cafe or restaurant which we could have organised earlier if someone had had the decency to inform us. I would stay there again I would just keep my options open for food elsewhere and know where to go!

We are here for the third time in the city light, and can it really recommend. Great Service, very friendly staff and always when it comes to a solution.

Considering this is a five star hotel and you pay good money for a room you don’t even get complimentary tea and coffee… Nor can you get a kettle for your room. Very outdated room with a tiny shower recess with a shower curtain, who has a shower curtain this days. We are grateful to be here on holidays from Australia but very disappointed in the hotel… Can’t wait to get back to Poland… UPDATE,,, been sitting at restaurant now for almost 1 hour. Had to get our own menu as we weren’t welcome to join the buffet and can’t seem to find a waiter to take our order. If our accommodation was not prepaid I would leave now… Absolutely disgusting.

The room I had was dated and incredibly noisy. There were no tea-making facilities in the room. Fridge but no option to buy water out of it.
On a positive note breakfast was pretty good.

The rooms were quite comfortable with high ceilings and large windows. There is restaurant on the 1st floor that is quite convenient for breakfast and has a nice selection of dishes.

Probably the worst welcome I have ever seen. I waited 30 minutes to check in (we were 2 in line) and then no "good evening" and a mix of German /English that I could barely understand. The hotel should be ashamed to employ people like this.

I was not very impressed with this hotel. I found the area ok and I didn’t feel overly unsafe and the distance from the metro was a short walk and I felt that essentially the distance from the centre was the reason the hotel was cheap. The room was nice and bright although it had some very strange fittings like a hairdryer that was difficult to actually use because of how the cord was put in but the beds were comfy and I didn’t find it too loud. The breakfast was in theory very nice however the staff were slow to respond to demand. The scrambled egg would run out so you would wait for it to refill by which time the bacon was empty not to mention the rather small plates. Given the price we paid I wouldn’t be staying here again as I am sure you could find cheaper rooms for a similar quality.

Very good accommodation. In the bathroom a few traces of dust. Very friendly staff and very rich breakfast. We had incorrectly booked through a portal and got a free upgrade from double room to a spacious triple room. In the city center at least 2 different means of transport must be taken, therefore the journey by train was a bit tedious.
Unfortunately no air conditioning and some other hotel guests could therefore be heard very loud lyrised with the window open.

Entrance bereicch is beautifully designed, breakfast good, coffee good, otherwise the hotel is not really recommended. Our room was super small, dark, with slants, dirty windows, instead of climate an old dusty fan. The carpet was frayed and in the bathroom the ventilation worked. After several requests we were told that the ventilation is fully functional, but works very quietly. We didn't notice anything about it, in the bathroom it was always hot and stuffy.
In the hallway the light was out more often, so that you could only see the emergency signs during the day. The elevator is super slow, the stairwell is so winding that it is hard to get along. The revolving door in the entrance was broken, so that all guests had to pass through the narrow side door. The staff don't seem to have taken care of that, the whole 4 days where we were there, no one had looked at the door.
Parking garage is just a covered barn with very narrow entrance and exit and all this for 17€ per day.
By and large, the stay was a bit disappointing.

Overall a nice place to stay… located at Oasler street and one can find lot of shops, restaurants and bars on walking distance… rooms were pretty good… they have a beautiful and well equipped halls for traings or business meetings… restaurant was good with rang of food items… a nice tarrace with glass roof and open place for sitting… over all super.

Nice accomodation, totally worth the money.

Clean hotel and unimpeachable service. The staff are friendly and helpful beyond what would be fair to expect. I found an opportunity and the price paid was really cheap. The public bus from Tegel Airport comes within 500 metres of the hotel. Also served by tram stop (50 meters) and subway (at the side of the bus stop). Also stop of an urban train at 500 meters.
A single note : the district is very popular, inhabited only by immigrants (mostly Turks). We were never harassed, indeed, all very kind, but I witnessed a brawl with the intervention of the police a few tens of meters from the entrance of the hotel.

All in all okay. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is very good! The staff friendly depending on the staff, others were also not so friendly. But for a few days Berlin the hotel is quite good.

Customer service is out the door. This is the second time I stay at that hotel. First time it was good but this time I received a 1 star service. Phone in the room wasn't working so every time I needed something I had to go downstairs. I needed extra pillows (since the ones they have are very thin) and was told that they dont have any extras. I paid for the breakfast in the morning and when I wanted to get coffee I was told they will charge my room extra. What kinda BS is this? Never going to stay at that hotel again.

We expected a little more from a 4 star house. Unfortunately, no air conditioning. In the heat of last week, we then opened the window at night. But the aircraft noise scared us almost to death in the morning at 5. Unfortunately not a single night slept a few hours. The windowsills from the inside were smeared full of silicone residues. The sofa in the superior room is soiled with stains. What a pity! In Stuttgart I was previously at the same hotel chain right at the airport and we had slept super.

Breakfast good only at the sausage is saved is too rarely replenished at the amount of guests. Our room large with sloping roofs. The skylights are only open with a special rod. The bathroom clean but would have to be renovated door frame shower sink no longer completely new. Shower only with curtain.

The hotel has far exceeded its best time. The staff is nice and attentive. My room in the attic certainly had 40 degrees Celcius when entering the evening, only immediate leaving helped. The bath smells slightly musty, the shower tray has many deposited spots, the faucet immediately closes again after opening. Breakfast is above average. The prices for parking are unfathomable, as are room rates. Because of some trade fair, the room cost more than €190 on the third night! The situation is miserable.
4 stars? Since I already had much better (and much cheaper) 3 star hotels. I will spend my next stay in Berlin in another hotel.

Well priced and central to all tourist attractions via S, U and T.

We are one week in this hotel. And one time there is fire alarm. At 01:20 I think so. And I call the reception said all people here most go out bette verlassen die hotel. And after that we go out with pajama with my husband. And at the next morning we can't eat our breakfast coz we can't sleep for that last night and. We never heard from them to say something sorry or something. And last time we are out side terraces and we order something to drink and we have wait for a few hours to get our orders instead they served the last customer behinds us. That's not okay for us. Byeeee.

Staff very unkind/room unsclean reception: Almost only trainees and all very overwhelmed also unfriendly.
Service: Not available, not even a good morning at breakfast. Being welcome as a guest didn't come up here.
Rooms: Very unclean, no minibar, mold stank in the bathroom, hair in bed from the predecessor, blood stains on the sheet.
Never 4 stars, there is no right price performance, service, cleanliness and friendliness.

The rooms were VERY clean, tidy and had everything you would need. There was good Wi-Fi and the staff was very nice. I also loved the amenities that were around like the restaurant and fitness. Only 2 downsides were that free breakfast wasn't included and was rather expensive and that the location was somewhat faraway from the centre.

Super Breakfast! The rooms are okay. Clean, if somewhat angular at the Hotel. Very very nice Service, the location is not the best of Berlin, but you can go easily everywhere. I would stay again.

Good location for short trips.

I was here just one night for business trip, but I was pleasantly surprised. I got great price over booking (under 80€) and for that it was just perfect. Comfy bed, very clean room and bathroom. Wifi was strong and fast. There is Lidl just behind the corner and a some decent priced restaurants around. Overall only the view wasn't really nice, but it isn't a problem, if you'd come for view, this isn't hotel fot you :)

Hotel about Jochen Schweizer booked. Our friends had their room opposite, but the shower broke down, so they got a new room. We also had a shortage and it was unfortunately only very unfriendly to respond. Of 4 different staff, only 1 lady was friendly. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty, but pity that not everything was replenished.
Otherwise the rooms were nice and clean as well.

The hotel room we liked. The room is large. The bathroom is small. In the evening I would go out on the street. Area is very dirty. Anywhere is garbage on the Trails and lawn.

We were very disappointed by the reception which is cold, no smile, no hello, no friendliness…
We even had to start a hello and we even start the discussion to get a return…
Ditto at the time of leaving no word nice or goodbye…
Otherwise the room was OK without more and a good lunch.

Great hotel on outskirts of city — Osoler Str. Only a five min walk to the nearest underground station which takes you in to town. Staff are very helpful, and breakfast is good. Rooms are clean and warm, especially the refurbished ones. Small bar but large restaurant. Free guest Wi-Fi, small gym, bicycle hire and left luggage facility.

Great value for money. Breakfast for 10 euro A will with a great choice. Great Hotel.

The location is quite central. Not a luxury hotel, but really cozy. The breakfast was very good. The service is great, only had a attic room with too much slants, so we could barely walk upright. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was very different. Very large and spacious. The bathroom even had a bathtub. The in-house parking at 17, €50 per day however, very overpriced. We would book again.

If you want to experience how east Germany was in 1970s this is the place. Furniture and fixtures have not been updated probably from when the hotel initially opened its doors. Slow internet and non working TV the size of of a computer monitor. Absolutely pathetic. Extremely slow front desk service.

Nice staff.
Hotel has earned a maximum of 3 stars. Breakfast buffet is not filled until requested. Bathroom has come in the years. Curtain in the shower showed stock stains. Gasket on the sink was missing partially, as was the silicone. Bed was on arrival with stains. Would not recommend it to anyone.

Little availability with the Italians, despite the room already paid ask for the credit card N, the staff speaks only German and English.

Great hotel clean room good food, nice staff and good parking facilities but only recommended.

The façade on the Osloer str. Is not quite as chic as on the Internet. The use of former factory buildings leads to winding corridors and staircases. Very friendly staff. Room facilities and cleaning OK. Restaurant with small card meets expectations. Little choice to go out nearby. To the center of town you have to drive some subway stations.

Rooms are very nice and tidy. The breakfast is also very good, but the view was not the best.

Rooms are top, very clean, well located (shopping center and train station nearby), Breakfast good (hot cocoa would be great), the only thing that is not so great, the Parking situation! To suggest otherwise really.

The bathroom needs a renovation. Do not plug in the fridge so QE you can not drink fresh water… The reception staff very serious.

Great Hotel, with 1 tube 10 minutes away on the left, and another also 10 minutes away on the right. The area is not the best, but really it's only 10 min from the centre. Rooms are large and breakfast v good. The only issue with the breakfast was the plates and glasses were too small — children size — and we were all adults! We had a good experience overall.

A nice hotel with nice staff.

Instead of 660 euros, I only paid 330 euros. But it was not worth it either. The breakfast was very good! The staff did not always look the way I would expect in a hotel of the category. Childish and traveling with the smartphone, although guests are sitting in the lobby.
Although an ironing service is offered, it does not exist. On request, you can get things to the room and do it yourself.
The cleanliness was OK, but in the shower the joints could be reworked. The vending machine was not refilled.
A new visit only if there is a real special offer again.
The surroundings are not the most beautiful in Berlin.

The rooms and restaurant are fine. The building itself is a bit weirdly built though. Good luck finding the stairs to your floor. The elevator is old and extremely slow.

Very disappointed with this hotel. It promised so much. Shower mouldy. Tv didn't work well. Remote broken. Tea and coffee making had to be requested for room. Rooms small and awkwardly designed. Sign at breakfast threatened 9.90€ fee if any food taken from room! Mini bar empty but sign suggests a top up. Rooms hot. No aircon controls. Breakfast good variety but on small plates. Toiletries poorly placed and limited. Staff generally helpful. Mostly clean.

Good hotel providing well furnished bedroom and impressive breakfast in the morning. Very polite and helpful staff. Would have awarded it 5 stars except for the less than sulubrious neighbourhood. A UBahn ride away from main amenities.

Just back from a 3 day break at this lovely hotel. I was a bit worried after reading some of the previous negative reviews however can honest say myself and my daughters had a fabulous stay. Our room was huge and everything was thought of to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfasts were terrific with a good choice of food. Staff were all pleasant and very helpful especially when asking for directions to tourist attractions. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good place. No air conditioning.

Rooms are considered as quite small with no air conditions at all. Even if you are in the roof floor with small windows then it is worse but in a old fashion recently renovated hotel. Nice breakfast though. With lots of options of coffee and oat meals. Could be better for a 4 stars hotel.

The transport connection is very good, but parking is quite rare.
So much for the location, now for the hotel:
The reception is friendly, the rooms sufficient — and really bright.
I had booked two rooms for my family because my wife was zero and we wanted to have a nice weekend with the children.
But rooms 901 and 902 are located directly behind the kitchen and on the delivery route — that means in the morning at about 05:15 o'clock we start with deliveries and work in the kitchen. The food has to be made. Then the night is just over.
Still to mention the ladies' cloister right next to the room and yes, it is very audible.
The staff are very hard-working and friendly — there is nothing to complain about.
At the breakfast buffet is an older waiter/upper, since everyone else can cut off a slice. He asked each time if he could clear something and didn't just go over the table.
Whether we will end up here again remains questionable, at least not on the ground floor
Whether this was because we booked through a third party provider or just had bad luck — I can't say anything about that.

The hotel is very nice, the room is large and very clean, it is very well connected but it is a bit away from the sights.

This hotel is nice in a old school positive way. The neighbourhood definitely is not. It is terrible. I would not recommend this unless you are prepared to use the tram/metro/taxi to get around.

The hotel is situated at the north of Berlin center with plenty of free parking in the neighborhood. Staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast leaves very little to be desired. Rooms are nice, very good beds. Unfortunately no aircondition. Elevator is slow but the stairs provide for a nice opportunity for some extra fitness. Value for money is beyond expectations!

Nice albeit a bit small rooms. Service was just fine. The view from my room was pretty mediocre, just looking over a little square between buildings.

Very nice hotel. The scrambled eggs for breakfast are legendary. The cook could tell the cook how to make these scrambled eggs. Then there would be these scrambled eggs if the cook has free.

Let's start with the positive: great location, great and clean rooms, rich Breakfast! On the other, there was a very unfriendly young man who introduced us in front of all the people, just that we should leave the Bar and downstairs in the children's disco move, though we have all been sitting a day before since! Endless unnecessary discussions… we would be students… NO trainees in an average age of 19-34 years!

Lovely staff… really well connected to get around Berlin. … highly recommend.

Nice room But a little far from the center, and ghosts…

First stay here ❤ really sweet Girls in the reception, Nice clean and ok size rooms. Really good and cheap we have a family room with bunkbeed for the Kids and still room to move around — LOVE IT.

Disguested — go to another hotel. This is not worth it. (No air con, limited Internet, rude staff) spend your money elsewhere. internet Wi-Fi connection is limited. — you only get one log in and any extras they make you pay for any other devices. (Don't rely on your own phone network because it does not have good reception at the hotel. ) Considering that this is a 4 star hotel, you think they would be less cheap. I stayed at another hotel at the same price in Berlin with 3 stars and the Internet was unlimited. For the price you pay and that it's a 4 STAR HOTEL you'd expect BETTER. The receptionist can be quite judgmental, especially when you tell them that you don't want to pay extra for Internet. They give the rudest smirks. (Seriously 4 star? ) Rooms are quite small and old. Considerably far from the city, as there are no taxi's or close by public transport. (Approx 15 mins walk to the closest station / tramway — total 30 minutes to get to the city) The lighting in the rooms are POOR. Broken lights not fixed! not enough lights. Nearby is also a church that rings extremely loud, therefore it echos into all the rooms. Hated this place and will never stay here again. I strongly recommend going to Andel's by Vienna instead.

Theft during breakfast in the rooms for 4 persons, 2 rooms of our group. You can all just with a debit card the hotel room doors open. (According to hotel workers)

The location of the hotel is good. The staff is very friendly, however, it was not 4 star. The bathroom was so had a small 2 person. The ventilation was defective and there was not even 1 bottle of water in the room. The Breakfast was very tasty. So if you expect 4 star you will be disappointed in the Standard room.

The Hotel was quite cozy. Despite some shortcomings it was a pleasant stay.

Stay in October, 2014. Had found on the Website of the hotel a Junior Suite for less money than a standard room and booked. The decor of the Suite is super modern, large bathroom with extra toilet. Everything was very clean, and I'm here maengelich. Window out to the backyard, don't suppressed me but, since I'm a little on the window. The Junior Suite was huge and the double bed very comfortable. Us a later Check was carried Out free of charge and I would every Time go back in this room. If memory truegt, then it was room 205 (if it is a Junior Suite ;)! )

The only flaw is the Rewards Program. I didn't receive the points until today. To Emails, no one, and to requests on the Rewards Website is responsive, nor on calls. But that has nothing to do with the actual Hotel.

. The name of the hotel is misleading it is NOT in the Mitte quarter — IT IS VERY FAR AWAY FROM THERE /As a matter of fact it is 40 minutes away from thr center of the city /

Very nice and peaceful hotel. Great catering, helpful people and clean rooms. Stayed for a month here. Will have a pleasure to visit it again.

Despite being north of the centre, this hotel has positive benefits. First of all, it is very well served by public transport. Secondly, the staff are very helpful and have a good level of English. The next point is that breakfast was very adequate. The hotel bedroom was very good. However it was unusual that the toilet en-suite had no wash hand basin and one had to use the basin in the bedroom. The hotel is not situated in one of the more attractive parts of Berlin but, at no time, did we feel unsafe. If you are looking for covenient travel to/from Schonfeld airport, Potsdam and Brandenburg Tor on the S-bahn, this hotel ticks the boxes.

While the hotel itself was nice, our room was visited during breakfast and money and a cellphone stollen. According to other reviews, it's a frequent happening; to have rooms at this hotel visited and things stollen.

After having visited hundreds of hotels, all over the world, I just have to say: This hotel offers the best breakfast, with the biggest variety in food of all places! The quality of dinner however is absolutely not more than average. The cook doesn't know the difference between porc and beef and prepares them in the same way. Beyond that, he must have missed the lessons of plating up in the cook's school. For the rest: The rooms are very spacious and the accessibility for people in a wheelchair is great. There is no place you can't get into. The staff is one of the most human, most friendly (simply the best) I ever experienced. They do ecerything from the first second on to make you feel at home. The hotel is situated inbetween the stations of Bornholmer Strasse, Osloër Strasse, Pankstrasse and Gesundbrunnen (not one of them is further away than a ten minutes walk), from where you can get on the subway or tram to all important places of Berlin. All of these stations, except Pankstrasse, are accessable for wheelchairs too. Simply a very good hotel without the noises of the city at night, what makes you sleep like a baby and wake up very fit!

It's true that this hotel offers good value for money, however it doesn't feel at all like a four star hotel. It's not exactly far from downtown but definitely not in a neighbourhood that has tons of cafes and restaurants (more like furniture stores and discount clothes places, which is fine but not what I look for in a vacation). The rooms were clean and nice but for example, the cleaning lady did not follow the directives that the hotel itself asked you to fill in a card. We requested a certain temperature in the room. That was not followed. We also asked for the window to be closed and it was open when we returned. This was in November, by the way. Room service has a 5 euro charge, and when I ordered something, I was told it was better if I "just came down" and ate downstairs. Service was definitely not four star.

Here you can not complain. The rooms are clean and Especially quiet. The Hotel is a converted factory, and only in February of 2008. No room is to the street, since the building is in a courtyard. All services are to the satisfaction provided. The staff is nice and fulfills wishes instantly. Wi-Fi is not available in every room. Just at the time of booking to appeal, if needed. I am since some time each week to work in Berlin and I have, after many Hotelselbstests for this Hotel decided. And until now, no regrets.
