unfortunately, the promised surprise was forgotten at check-in due to my direct online booking and on my later personal request in the evening I was offered a lip mask and a cloth bag, although the surprise would have been a drink from the bar. At the time of my request, the bar was already closed and after a long Berlin sightseeing tour I would have preferred to have had a cold drink.
That is why I had proposed a drink from the minibar as a surprise, which unfortunately was not mentioned.

Super Hotel with lots of charm. Staff very friendly. Rooms perfect and the Breakfast is a dream. Highly recommend to you. The Hotel is located at the Central station, and you can really reach every minute with U-Bahn, Bus, etc. Everything.

Beautiful, chic hotel! Very convenient as its located directly across from the Central Station — super easy and cheap way to get to and from the airport, as well as around Berlin. Breakfast had a good variety of foods and had espresso machines. Loved that! Cons: Air conditioning wasn't great but wasn't a big deal to us in November. Pillows and bed weren't overly comfortable, although this is just a personal opinion. The room was very nice overall. Not a ton of restaurants near by, but its easy to walk or catch a train. Be prepared to walk lots!

Nice design of the rooms, lobby, restaurant and rooftop bar. A very good relaxing place for a stay in Berlin.

The room that I get upgraded (10 euro/night) is the one you could not get in the area! Spacious and comfy, service is good (they entertain and provide things you need), interior design is modern and chic. Love the location (few minutes walk to Berlin Hbf) and the bistro downstains. Except a reception lady who didn’t attend to my request to check out since I was in a hurry to board my train that caused a star missing.

Location is great. 5 mins walk to Berlin Central Station but AC seem to trouble me here. Can't get the AC to work. Did not try the breakfast. Room looks new.

Was charged an extra €16 for 2 kids breakfast despite paying for a breakfast included room rate for 3 people. Breakfast had a poor hot option as it was largely cold. Otherwise the breakfast buffet was good. Roof top bar was great. Room was tiny with almost no floor space but we slept well. Gym is small with 2 treadmills, rower and bike. Free weights up to 10kg and a confusing to use cable multi gym which you'd need a guide to help you use if you had never used that model before.

Nice, modern and convenient location close to Central Station. However ridiculously slim 'desk' space making it really tedious getting things done on the laptop.

Central Berlin Hotel, good value for money and very well connected with all the transport. The room was very clean and the breakfast was very good. Definitely recommended hotel for a getaway.

The hotel is in a great location, close to the central station and well by any public transport. The rooms are very clean, comfortable bed. They are not suites, but not even too small as someone claims. They are great the right one for a few days stay. The breakfast buffet is amazing. The staff was very helpful The view depends on the location of the room, but from the terrace of the top floor you can see a wide glimpse of Berlin. On one side of the hotel they are building a building with interesting architecture. The yard doesn't give any noise problems.

Easily accessible, modern ambience, open bath — so great if you are freshly in love;-), class bar; For the longer stay, you should probably book the larger rooms. For a weekend, it also does the standard room.

Directly at the station. Very classy interior. Entrance weirdly not at the main Street, but at the side of the building. The building itself is pretty new. Small shops or fast food places are across the street in the biggest train station in Europe. Beside that not many places to go.

Super price performance ratio. Voicable furnishings. Very comfortable bed.

My review comes from my email, which I wrote after my visit:
Unfortunately the stay was not really pleasing, the first night really wasn't nice as our blankets smelled very much of sweat, this was reported on the first evening, here the bed should be changed, this is not or only half done on request Were. After a new complaint, the bed was then changed.  
In addition, this comes to her colleague (unfortunately, I do not know her name, but she was born on 14 11 November.  At twelve o 'clock at the reception) did not react really kindly, but felt rather attacked, although we would have been more in the right to behave in a way, however, has always remained friendly.

In the biggest part, we were very disappointed.

Great hotel for goths (everyone else might need the odd splash of colour…) But darkness of décor aside, wonderful comfortable rooms, great breakfast, very decent bistro and friendly/ helpful staff. Also ridiculously easy to get to and get around from — it’s about five minutes walk from the Berlin HbF main train station. (The only way it’s tricky to get to is by taxi… definitely use the train if you can).

Beautiful hotel right near Berlin Hbf. There's a beautiful courtyard and it's within walking distance of a lot of Berlin highlights. There's also a rooftop bar in the warmer months and a bistro and bar on the ground floor! Very nice place to stay.

Just had 3 days staying here, its a great place as a base for seeing the city, with the station just across the road and trams and bus's just outside the front it was brilliant for us. We found the staff most friendly and helpful and the hospitality was better than some very expensive places I have stayed. We will with out a doubt return here soon as we both love the city and have a lot more to explore, my only problem with the hotel was that I could not get the coffee machine to work and I can live without that thing anyway. Thanks again for your hospitality guys.

Seems as if half the hotel were being run by apprentices, no person could have glimpsed over 23. Clearly these beginners are cheap and sometimes quite friendly, but they seem to have never heard of professionalism and a certain friendly distance towards customers.

Excellent location. Minutes away from the Central Berlin train station, which is basically inside a huge shopping center. You are close to every type of transport, trains, buses, trams. Close by all the good sites in Berlin. The bathroom is clean, shower easy to use. The room is simple, modern, has a TV and you can step out onto what is some kind of balcony/long ledge. Though it isn't sectioned off. So anyone can go outside and walk outside your room.

The hotel is great, located right next to the Berlin Haupbanhof station, the rooms are well, modern, with shower and a pretty big bed. The hotel is quite quiet so for the rest it comes great.

It's a modern hotel and the staff is really polite. Here is the thing that ticked me off: there is a Nespresso machine in the room. So, I have got the suite, so I find it absurd that the hotel is charging separately for each one capsule of coffee. I mean, it's not going to break my bank account, but it would have been so much better for the hotel to offer a courtesy coffee. It's not as if it going to break the bank.

Wonderful Hotel. Very clean and aesthetically very modern. The staff is very friendly. When you arrive you block on the card 140€ if you consume something from the mini bar or in the bistro, for example. If you don't consume anything you give it back. It is next to the central station of Berlin and if you want, you can go walking to the Bundestag or the Brandenburg Gate.

Excellent upscale hotel with convenient location at a great price (we paid less than €100/night). Reichstag and Brandenburg gate are within walking distance (about 20 minutes). Rooms are a bit small but comfortable and modern.

One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in! Well priced, trendy, clean, great service and well connected by the Hauptbahnof. A quick minute walk away to get there and you'll have the whole of Berlin accessible! The beds at the hotel are comfy and offered a peaceful nights sleep. The only downside may be that the surrounding area is still being developed, but you can't fault the hotel itself for the regeneration works of its surroundings.

I've been there twice and I'm sure I'll be back. This chic hotel is very close to the main train station. The U55 train station to the Brandenburg Gate is located almost next to the entrance. The staff extremely friendly, the rooms top, the breakfast delicious, the coffee sensational. The highlight is the roof terrace!

Centrally located hotel across the main railway station. Stylish and functional, though, space in the basic rooms is very limited. Restaurant and bar are great. For a more peaceful experience enjoy the bar during the week. Room rates are affordable for the location, especially if booked through their website.

The rooms are beautiful but the air conditioning doesn't work and room becomes stuffy and hot at night. The receptionists are very nice and helpful. I didn't like it there is no tea or coffee making facilities. Instead you have to go down to the bistro and then bring it back up to you room. I only had one meal there and didn't like it at all and certainly not the price that was charged. There also wasn't a great choice. I had 3 prawns for entree for 12 euro and the were only partially cooked. The young man that served us was really good but the girl was quite snobby. We took one bite of your mains and left. The breakfasts were good and could help yourself and a variety of choice.

Great place to stay. So close to the train station and main attractions you wont even need any middle of transport. Great staff. Big, modern and clean rooms + the breakfast is worth it. Large variety of foods and drinks to choose from.

A beautiful, clean and modern hotel with a minimal aesthetic. The staff are friendly, the breakfast was nice and they have an espresso machine which makes great coffee. It is perfectly located next to one of Berlin's larger and well connected stations. Traveling to and from Berlin Schönefeld to the hotel is easy and relatively quick too. Tourist attractions are within walking distance and we both had a very pleasant stay here. Would highly recommend to others.

Location is next to Berlin HBF. Very easy. Very modern style. Looks great. Rooms are very nice. Only reception workers don't great you on passing by or entering the building. Breakfast is good. Would recommend the hotel.

Great location in the heart of Berlin. It is a nice e modern room at a good price. The rooms have a good amount of space and are very comfortable. The rooms are also very clean. I have a wonderful time every time I stay here. They also have a great staff that are very knowledgeable and informative.

Relatively small but very clean, cozy, bright and modern rooms. Fantastic location (very accessible from airport and central train station). Very reasonable walk to the Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate and other sites in that area, as well as the Berlin Wall memorial park. Amazing breakfasts (I'm typically not a buffet person but the spread is awesome and surely will satisfy all tastes — be there before 8am when it starts to get busy). Highly recommended!

We had a pleasant stay in Amano Grand Central. Perfectly located if you're planning on taking multiple trains / buses / trams while in Berlin. Breakfast had a good price / quality ratio. Luxury on a budget.

This is a very new hotel so everything is still very clean and tidy. The location is great — just across the road from the main station, the Brandenburg Gate is just walking distance to the south and the TV Tower is about 40 minutes walk to the east. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is great with lots of choice.

It is a very nice and modern hotel. The terrace is great for a drink. I don't think it is very central, although it is very close to the train station and you can walk around taking a walk to the tourist area. The only negative for me is that the bathroom is too small and the receptionists are very unfriendly.

It is a great hotel: very modern, very good located (150 meters from the central station that takes you and brings you everywhere), always clean and always very friendly.
The only contra is that the room is somewhat girly and has a detail that many may not like: everything is glass, to the door (though frosted) of the toilet.

The hotel is well in general but you notice in the staff a lack of training and dedication. The breakfast buffet is very varied and generous, highly recommended and with lots of fruit, which is appreciated. As for cleanliness, they need to improve on details, but the standards are fine. The location is convenient for those who need to catch a train or plane very early. It is also good if you do not return to the hotel all day, as there is not much to do around. This chain has another hotel in Mitte, which leaves you next to many more attractions and nightlife. Grand Central is a good choice for business people, for example.

We were last weekend in their Hotel and are absolutely thrilled! The rooms are very modern, the Breakfast is super and the location is perfect. We will definitely come back!

Caution: the door does not fall Castle by alone in it! It is happened to me unfortunately several times, I have slept or worse unlocked during the day left the room when the door is only leaning…

The disappointment began after the exit of the lift on the 7th floor:
Entrance €5 / person.
Previously, there had been a strong rain showers:
Despite dry seating areas, the bar refused to allow any drink. It was busy with clean up. Underlying the floor including bar, we could two Gin tonics for €26 organize.
High back with the drinks.
Music, pure clean up = 21 20 toss atmosphere was definitely announced.
This is for a club, which is located in Berlin and want to offer something, m. E. A disaster.
The weather was brilliant the rest now: warm, great sunset scenario with pink clouds: perfect for a night out in a roof top bar
Conclusion:
There me on the suspicion that the crew had no desire and then pulled her thing.
No bar to which I go again so quickly. Then dear weekend or something similar to established.

Minifridge barely worked and was full of items for sale to the point where it was unusable. The AC worked poorly and we woke up seaty multiple times during the night. I think there was a plastic liner under the sheets because I have never woken up in sweat like that before. Our room was cleaned haphazardly everyday. Our coffee cups were never taken or replaced. Towards the end of our stay I realized we were being charged 2€ for the Nespresso cups that I assumed were free. Hotel was constantly understaffed and there was always a long line for reception. The roofdeck bar is nice, but largely unavailable to guests due to private events being held there. The hotel finishes look sleek, but upon closer inspection the obvious cheapness of everything becomes glaringly obvious. Our room had no carpet, no artwork, and no seating aside from one very cheap restaurant chair. The breakfast is 15€. They really try to ring every last cent out of you while giving as little as possible in return.

Very Central location. The Berlin Central station is within walking distance. The impression from the Hotel is overall very positive. The reception was very friendly and helpful. The room was modern and comfortable. Everything needed was available. Also the bathroom was very satisfactory. Negative, only the Situation of the Hotel is up to date. Here, the construction is extremely high. Not only a site, but more than a handful are within 100 meters. Not to mention a positive effect of the courtyard, the Roof Top terrace and the sky bar.

Hi Management, good assessment and constructive criticism is not your thing. I would have expected a response to my note. Instead, you try to delete dogged my review. This is the lowest level, a shame. But there are more beautiful Hotels in Berlin.

The hotel itself is excellent, the room was booked for the sale, paid 11, 000 rubles for 2 nights in Berlin. I do not like when arriving at the hotel the lady at reception said all rooms are occupied and come after 15: 00 if you don't want to wait! Pay for a superior room, of course there was a divorce, told her OK I'll wait, went to lunch came back half an hour later, but worked a different shift. And everything is in order and the room is available and you can call!

Great stylish Hotel, as it is of the Amano Group in the usual way. The Bar and the roof-just beautiful. The view is amazing! The staff is very friendly and helpful!

A very personal opinion! Like to begin with the Positive. A great bed, with fitted sheets, so it should always be. In A Quiet Room. The shower is large and has lots of water pressure. But…! The shower is in the Middle of the room, to Heat no way, all right cold, to the whole room. Of the/The Cabinet/shelf has only 3 hangers would have to be twice as big. Here, you get his wardrobe and linen not properly. To the window you can only reach OVER the bed, really bad. Conclusion. Pretty to look at but impractical.

The hotel has a very good quality and it's really clean. The room's toilets are comfortable and clean. Great service and nice the apartment bar at the 6th floor. Location is almost perfect. Very close to Berlin Hauptbanhof and to the U55. Perfectly connected to the city. Too many work in progress in the area but perfect pricing for the quality of the staying.

Super Hotel, would stay there again! Class location, everything is top!

This is a beautiful hotel with really friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was delicious with a wide selection of both hot and cold food options which kept getting replaced right till the end!

The Hotel has exceeded our expectation. A very friendly Service staff. The next visit to this Hotel, again, is in the planning stage.

This is a nice hotel. I love their pillows, blanket, mattress. It feels so comfortable. The only problem is their staff's attitude. Special two girl in front desk. I don't know what are their problems but they are so piss to customers. I hope if I have a chance to come back there, I would love to see some smiles on their staffs.

Good place with new hi-tec rooms, excellent location near to hauptbahnhof and the city center.

Nice restaurant on the top with a great view and a bit Swiss feeling. Especially when you are inside.
