Great accommodation! A clean place, friendly service, really comfortable bed & located in a good location close by central station and the subway.

A nice hostel but not very welcoming. They had no beer at the bar when we were there. The rooms are nice and clean and the bathroom was modern.

The location is convenient, to the metro station two minutes. The hotel itself is spacious, quiet, clean. And most importantly, not expensive.

Cheap, clean, well-located accommodation in Berlin. Breakfast was ok, not intoxicating but commensurate with the price. Room was clean but clairvoyant.

The 3 stars are not right at all. I am likely to enter an hour later as the room was not yet clean. Not recommended.

At first, about a week earlier, I had reserved the rooms. I had agreed to this by phone and then confirmed it by e-mail. Two or three days before arrival, I called again to rebook something else. It turned out that my rooms were not reserved at all. After much discussion, I finally got a booking confirmation, but not at the previously agreed price. That was really a cheekiness.
The rooms themselves were large and well furnished, but the cleanliness in the bathroom really left something to be desired. Even after the appropriate notice, n the room was not cleaned.
There was also breakfast only if you were willing to spend another 7 euros per person extra.

Really nice hostel/hotel. Wi-Fi is reliable, food is top notch, good staffs and great pricing. You'll always feel like you got the best.

Not really a place for the travelling backpacker but perfect for families who enjoy the calm and quiet. A but fae from everything but pruced accordingly. Very clean, welcoming and they will take care of your luggage if your check in is earlier/later. Breakfast is ok.

Everywhere chewing gummies in the corners. The walls are painted and parts of the floor are missing. If possible, 0 out of 5 stars.

Good cheap Hotel/Hostel, staff nice and helpful, you have everything you need there, billiards, armchairs and couch to chill. Drinks at reception.
Bathroom large, hairdryer and soap and toothcleaning cups (towels logically also) perfectly fine room large, table, chairs, closet, bed pleasant, no carpet.
Makes everything just a little a worn impression probably dadürch heavily attended but perfectly fine for the price and location you don't hear anything from outside.
Can one recommend when you screw down your demands.

Very nice staff, upscale and cheap, very clean and large rooms, bar was closed on a Saturday.

I was pleasantly surprised by the establishment. For not very expensive you can sleep in very good conditions. I took a bed in a mixed dormitory and had no problems. Everything is clean, even the bathroom and the sheets. I recommend!

Centrally Located, Market, Shopping Hall, U Bahn, S Bahn With 2 Minutes Walking Distance, About Hotel, Rooms And Washrooms Are Well Maintained And Staff Are Very Friendly And Helpful, I Would Recommend It To Everyone. 10 Of 10.

The hostel is externally normal, but everything depends on the neighbors, and soundproofing is not enough (heard the elevator in the third room from the elevator)

Great place to sleep… And meet many travelers from all over the world. The staff is very polite and the environment is very friendly.

Great location even if outside the center, close to Metro stop. Clean rooms, with the only disadvantage of not having outlets dedicated to bunk beds and lockers in the room.

The hotel room is dirty! The service at the hotel is very unkind and uncooperative towards your paying guests. The walls are very light of hearing so that a small conversation can hear the neighboring room well, so we as a class had to sleep in the lobby on the cold, hard floor. Generally not recommended for people who want some good service and hygiene for their money.

The place has a very good relation quality price. The staff is kind and helpful. Maps are for free and the common areas are good. The room I had was shared with other 7 people. Sadly the ladder to go for the bed was very high and it would be a little bit risky if you don't know that in advance.

Quiet place with all the facilities for a great stay.

Great location and good price. The only downside I have seen is that they charge you for the towels and this was not listed anywhere so it was a surprise.

The use of towels is worth €1, Hotel Malisimo… I don't recommend it.

Good price, fine rooms, friendly and mostly helpful staff. Be careful about storing your belongings behind the counter, as a very nice water bottle and nice rain jacket disappeared from my backpack when I left them in the back room.

I am writing this review at 3:23 am. I have always stayed at this hostel whenever I visit Berlin because of it's good location. During my recent trip I had such terrible experience. I was in 6 bed dorm. There were all German girls in the room who didn't care about sleep time and kept banging doors, speaking loudly. I complained to the reception and he said he can't do anything about it. Having early flight next day, I tried to sleep and it happened all 5 times, until I called again at 2 am and reception guy came to tell them to be quiet. That time my sleep was already ruined and I thought of doing online check-in to save time in morning so needed light turned on for few mins. One of the German girls called reception guy, who started yelling at me for being called again without listening to my side. Ok. So light is turned off and these women started giggling… one started a call on phone and it's the whole thing again. What a night mare. Shame that they are not neutral to solve issues and I would never recommend light sleeper to come to this hostel.

Not the hostel for me. Clean and covers basic needs but too commercial. Staff friendly and do their job but also impersonal / distant in some aspects. There was a common area but the atmosphere was not great and not much socializing happening there. Would be more enjoyable for a group of people that already know each other. Overall not a bad place to stay but there are plenty of hostels that offer more convenience for same price.

The staff was great, the room itself was big and comfortable, but there was no lockers inside the room. If you wanted to secure your luggage (which was a recommendation from the staff) you had to take your things to the reception, to a room where the luggage of the entire hostel just layd there. And also, the bathroom needed a little maintenance, it was impossible to keep the whole bathroom from flooding with the water from the shower.

I was in a shared room with 8 people and bathroom included. It is clean and nice but you need to improve the atmosphere.

I stayed close to the station, so it served me as a 1 night hostel, the facilities very good and comfortable. The neighborhood is somewhat intimidating but at least you see control over the situation.

Very quiet and relaxed place to stay. Just a short walk away from the U2, which gets you anywhere in the city in 30 minutes or less. The 6-person dorm was very clean and had a personal bathroom for the room. It was a great change of pace after staying at a wild hostel in Frankfurt.

Good hostel for 1 night in Berlin if you're just catching a flight. Not a place to stay if you're looking to experience Berlin or stay for multiple nights.

All was good. Friendly staff and clean beds etc. Just a small disappointment, that I was placed in men dorm instead of mixed dorm.

Shared Rooms, although single rooms advertising and booking. Not possible to cancel, in spite of misleading advertising. The Service is detached, underground.

Rooms were clean. Everything worked ok. The shower kind of flooded the bathroom because there wasn't a good seal on the door to the floor. There were no lockers to lock up valuables in our room. Wi-Fi was decent but it made you sign in a lot. Staff was fairly friendly but they had already sold our beds before we checked out. We had considered staying one more night. However, they didn't charge us for late check out afterwards. The normal price is good. For new years they increased the price 500%. From €11/night to €51/night. So make sure you check events to make sure you're not paying more than you want.

I have stayed at Smart Stay in Berlin many times recently. It's clean and well organized. Breakfast is also good. I also found it very nice that I was transferred to another room last time I was there after I had problems with an inconvenient guest.

It's a good hostel to stay in. Although I did not like the fact considering the size of the hostel and the money they've spent on the interior they should have had a kitchen, after all a hostel is supposed to be a place where people on a budget stay. The location is good. 5 minute walk to the U bahn. I had an ensuite; the bathroom and the room was clean. If you're looking for a party hostel where you get to meet people then this place isn't for you because the environment isn't as such where you get to meet people generally. Everyone minds their own business.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. Easy access to the aiport. Not 5 stars because there was a really weird smell in the room.

I only stayed here for a day on my way back to mexico, I had a single room and I can't say anything bad about it, everything was perfect.

The rooms are very dusty, very many construction sites that disturb by noise and the rooms are very small in my opinion. The lobby and it is pretty bad. The location is okay also away to nearest u bahn station is done in 3 minutes.

I was with a School group there. The Hotel is fairly new, the rooms were different in size, but functionally furnished. By a construction site on the opposite side of the street came a bit of dust into the room. It was but every day mopped, the bathrooms were extremely clean. For a school with a small budget, I have otherwise always much worse the room had. The Breakfast was good, you could eat as much as you wanted, even coffee or juice were not limited. The staff is friendly and helpful. Also, is the location convenient, since the Hotel is near a shopping street, with the pedestrian area and not too far away from the U-Bahn. I would again at any time there book!

The rooms are very dusty very many sites that disturb by the noise and the rooms are in my opinion very small. Nice is the lobby and the bathroom. The location is retard the way to the next metro station is in 3 minutes.

Very good value accommodation. Everything clean and modern, staff very friendly and helpful. Room including bathroom spacious — which is seldom the case in many big-city moderately priced accommodations. Spacious and comfortable lounge. Thoroughly recommend and if ever in Berlin again will definitely stay there.

The room and also the bathroom were not very clean and it smelled a little bit. I also missed lockers in the room. The breakfast was included and was good.

It is a simple but very good Hotel to stay and relax. It is ideally located to a metro station and some remote S-Bahn station. The staff is friendly and young. The beds are in a clean condition. The Breakfast is simple and sufficient. Price-performance ratio is very favorable. Another plus is the free Wi-Fi access. Thanks to its ideal location in Charlottenburg, it is suited very well for all destinations in Berlin without great effort. I will again consider if I am in Berlin.

Excellent hotel. Very nice common areas, the room was very quiet with comfortable beds and nice bathroom. The location is perfect with lots of restaurants and shops nearby and a metro station located 3 min walking distance, metro line to the city centre. I definitely recommend the hotel and if I go back to Berlin I´d stay there again. Thanks.

Super clean rooms, quiet and centrally located! The night was relaxing and the processing without the Stress on and on and all is well.

I don't know whether to describe it as a hotel or as a guest house. Spacious rooms, very clean, nice and comfortable beds. Located in a good shopping area full of shops, restaurants, etc. With a meter to about 150 m. Without a doubt the best option for visiting Berlin. The best hostel that I've found throughout the interrail. I will repeat it again and recommend it.

It's a very nice, clean and quiet hostel. Very friendly check-in, 24 h hour/day. It can be qualified as hotel anytime. We have enjoy our stay there. Parking is available, but must pay extra. Wi-Fi is good in the room, and into the nice lounge. It's very good placed for visiting Berlin. I recommand it.

We stayed there for two nights. Rooms were clean baths were fine BUT there was no Wi-Fi connection for two nights (three days). Lady at the reception desk told me that some guy changed the Wi-Fi password and noone could solve the problem. Seriously Smart Stay? I mean, people staying there are mostly far away from their homes, even countries and need Wi-Fi connection in the hostel, it is like a priority at some point. And that was a silly excuse.

The staff is friendly, the room is quite modern and was clean, beds are ok, the location is quite good, at Night it is in the summer with the window open, not too loud, the price of about 20€/night on Sat So in the 4 bedded room is fair.

I agree with other guests who reviewed this hotel. This is more than a two-star hotel. The hotel is always clean with a very good standard. Services are good and staff are approachable and ready to help. I like the proximity of the place to a lot of things! the asian restaurant in front is really good! and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who plans to visit Berlin.

Was on business in Berlin. The Hotel is not far away from the trade fair, with the Taxi only 4 minutes. Perfect. The staff at the reception were always very nice and helpful. The rooms are nice and clean and new.
