Extremely unprofessional receptionist on the first day of my stay, his unfriendly almost mean behaviour. The front desk staff were the least helpful of any hotel I've ever stayed in, and I've traveled extensively. No smiles and I felt like they were doing me a favor by answering my questions. I would not stay again for that reason.

It doesn't deserve the 4 stars. The floor of the third floor where I was staying had the carpet and the wood underneath it creaked like a horror movie. My room was from fue stars. It's also a good hotel but it costs too much for what it's worth. I repeat, it doesn't deserve the four stars.

Worst experience ever. No air-conditioning at all. Not even something to cool the sofocating air. I had both head and stomach-ache. The bathrooms are really small, the room itself too. Really, I never had such a bad experience before.

The hotel doesn't match the stated 4degrees. The case when the first impression is deceptive. The building itself is interesting, it is more than 100 years old, inside a beautiful hall. That's where the positive ends, perhaps. The room is tiny, very spartan furnished. The soundproofing is disgusting, you can even hear the sound of footsteps. When booking it was indicated that the windows overlook the city, in reality in the closed block of the house, a glass, where the sun does not get (photo). One pillow, which is very inconvenient — to settle down comfortably to read or watch TV will not work, because the bed has a hard headrest at right angles. And the TV itself is one name. There is no kettle in the room. There is no restaurant in the hotel, there is only breakfast, for a fee of 13 euros, every day the same — eggs, slicing of cheese and sausage, milk, cereals, buns. On the third day, I didn't want any of this. From 16 to 18 in the hall is samovar, but already to 17.00 all the cups are usually dirty, so you can't drink tea. At other times there is no place to pour boiling water. Infrastructure around no, every time you puzzle where to eat in walking distance. In terms of transport, everything is fine. The hotel is suitable for those who plan to stay in it only overnight, there is nothing else to do there.

Hotel with Flair at a reasonable Price. Romance Suite is perfect for 3 or even 4 Adults. Also the Location is not bad, Bus and S-Bahn at about 100m Distance.

Always fond. Nice staff. Clean rooms. Great breakfast buffet.

Had a great time at the hotel while I was in Berlin! Everything was clean, the reception was nice and it is located close to the coty center!

Beautiful old hotel that maintains its patina. But one or the other could be renewed. Our room was probably the smallest in the hotel. Breakfast is great. Friendly service.

Nothing wrong with the room itself, but the hotel is right next to a busy s-bahn station, so if you're a light sleeper maybe try to get a room on the far side of the building. On the other hand it's well connected to public transport.

Delicious breakfast. We were there with 8Personen and we liked it very much.

Nice hotel. We had a quiet suite at the price of a double room. The breakfast was good, although at 12, 90 euro not just cheap. Nice staff.

Unfriendly staff, the receptionist morning rude and not professional, the late shift a totally overtaxed and unfriendly woman. The hammer was the night shift, we rented our own knife at the end of the evening and decided to return the knife at departure, everything was recorded and good. At 5:45 the night shift woke us up and wanted to have the knife back because the kitchen had no other knife, so that is the coronation of insolence. Never again will I visit this hotel and become this experience every one I know who travels to Berlin to make a huge bow around this hotel. We were on the 27th of 03.2018 for four.

Price to performance is unfortunately not right here. The hotel and the rooms are old. The reception was rather unfriendly. Not recommended for the price.

We had a good. Welcomed and served as in our expectations. Romantic construction first ' 900. No frills, great breakfasts, cleanliness, service and from here the whole city is reachable thanks to the train station line S line to 5 min. In the immediate vicinity there is a fitness center and the large Bauhaus store specializing in gardening articles.

Nice beautiful Hotel for a cheap price. My small Room was clean and I found a parking in the street. I can’t give 5 stars, but still good!

Nice but extremely noisy because right next to the S-Bahn.

The hotel is cute and tidy. The rooms are clean and well furnished. I liked especially that the mattress was really comfortable and that the bath tub was big. Breakfast was great, they had a lot of choices and all was fresh. The only downside was that the walls are not very well sound proof. We could hear the neighbors talk in the room next to us. You can also hear the trains passing by, but they don't run in the night anymore. The S-Bahn station is just a few steps away, so is the bus stop with frequent busses into down town. There are all kind of shops in walking distance, also different kind of restaurants. We would go again any time, but think twice if you need a very calm room.

Wonderful, cozy, quiet hotel, near the subway, the famous Ku Dam street, the hotel staff are not intrusive and helpful. The room is cozy, the bed is very comfortable, clean.

The room that we'd booked was different in real, it was worth than on photos. The hotel is quite good but it needs to be renovated. Now it does not dare 4 stars.

Hotel away from downtown and it takes at least 30 minutes to get to downtown the parking lots in the corner are free on the other hand.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. My first point of contact when I come to Berlin highly recommended.

For a 4 star hotel very much in the years come. The breakfast is OK, but only if it is included. The rooms are clean at first sight. If you look closer, you will find some places that could be cleaned. The mattresses are located. In the very small bathroom it is very uncomfortable. The drains should be cleaned urgently. Next time, Berlin, I'm going to find something else.

Nice cozy hotel with a hervoragendem breakfast buffet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Always happy. Location is also top! Quiet but central. You can even find free parking spaces. And that in Berlin.

Inexpensive, however, some renovations would have to be carried out. Price-performance ratio fits though.

Nice Hotel… close to a train station and to the whereabouts of buses. A little alejdo from the center. But you get there in 20 minutes with the train.

On the Tel. # on Google you reach the hotel, but if you need a room they will connect you to the reservation service… but it just rings and nobody available. So we couldn't book a room…

Very nice and clean furnished in the 50s style. Quiet location without Trafgico.

The 4 stars should be controlled urgently. The bathroom too small and there was "only" a shower curtain, the furniture is very worn, the mattresses have it from my perception also behind it. The maximum amount of service is sufficient. The question about the next ATM could not be helped, although this was walking distance 500 meters away. The guest in front of me could not be helped, as both ladies did not speak English at the reception.
The whole hotel runs under the term "historical" so that a quitschender floor for me belongs to it, worn and broken furniture, however, not.
Not for me again.

You can park in front of the hotel free of charge and always find a parking place.

Room was great size (4th floor), had a balcony and aircon. Staff friendly, good breakfast with plenty of choice. Not a bad word to say.

Bring ear plugs. Nosiest hotel I've ever stayed in. This is an old building so street noise and train station noise is at maximum even with double windows. You can hear every sound, doors banging etc and cleaners are intent on gaining access to your room even with the do not disturb sign clearly hanging on the door… I've had to put the safety chain across to deny them entry. They like to wake you up EARLY.
There's also a problem with mosquitoes. My room is a mosquito massacre and dead bugs are scattered throughout my room and ceiling, I had to kill 7 on my first night and then went and bought fly killer from the shops.
There's little here to recommend, I've paid 7 days upfront, had I not done so I would have moved on after two nights. It's a functional hotel, it's definitely not 4 stars though, I'd rate it 2.5
There's lots to do around the area, free parking and Wi-Fi.

Very small and dirty room. Abgenutze furniture, holder of shower spray broken, old stains from soap dispenser. Breakfast was not good cold eggs cold bacon. It was like the buffet at the Becker's corner. Unfriendly staff all in all for a 4 star hotel at the price we paid really bad. We're not coming back.

Offers a great breakfast buffet but have no other food of any kind. Not even cold cuts or sandwiches. This makes no sense to me.

Nice stay near the Messe, but overpriced for the comfort. Breakfast for 15Eur per person about which you are not informed in the time of the check in and it is not included in the price.

The hotel is in a building that is over 100 years old. It is located right next to a train station, which is great for getting around, but can be a bit disturbing during the night.

Great value good location great friendly staff.

Quiet place near the metro. Rent a few bicycles to travel around the city.

Pros: Very friendly! Speaks perfect English! Easy accessibility to trams and buses. Easy to find free parking space. Cons: Building is quiet old, so almost no soundproofing room. (I could heard snoring sounds from the next room) Overall, it was pleasant staying and would willing to stay again for the next time.

The rooms are clean, the staff is nice and multilingual, you can easily reach the next train station in mere 2 minutes​

Most troublesome is breakfast. Please give the information whether the meal is pork or not. But except that the place is perfect. Transportation is quite easy. And the staff is quite efficient.

The crown Prince Breakfast is of a cheerful, friendly Damenriege served and is a 4 star Hotel, fair, very rich. Here, there are still real bakery bread, not aufgebackenen "Luftnummern of the gas station"! A really good Start to the day is the coffee of Darboven. Those who have no filter coffee like Espresso or Latte or Capuccio from the Bar. On the buffet in the middle of the Breakfast room, there are still in addition to the usual stuff deli Salads and fresh fruit.

In a 4 star Hotel: unfriendly Aufbackbrötchen Instant coffee The only thing good was the location of the hotel.

Best breakfast in Germany.
