Just check in today, I knew there is no air conditioner at room. But when I try to open the window, there is many machine outside that providing waste gas into the room. Claim for change another room, the receptionist is rude to say "no " without any checking! I think the hotel can't get any rating!

We had made a reservation of two people and a 9 year old child, the reservation obliges us to put the age of the child. They give us a room with a normal double bed and when we claim, they tell us to sleep the child with us, that the room is that. They have extra beds for very young children up to 2 years old (one cot).
That's what it's supposed to be until I'm 12, whoever I'm traveling with kids for. First time it ever happened to us.
That said, they charge you before you go up to the room, as soon as you arrive. And entourage is a while.
We only have to put a claim and spend a few very tight summer days.

Awesome location. Very clean room. Elevator accessible. Beautiful antique looking and very comfortable bed. Only issue is that at it can get loud since it is on the main road.

Booked two rooms about 4 months ago and when we checked in they put us on two different floors. Also window in room was broke and there is no AC and it’s too loud outside all night to even open the windows.

The rooms are small and there is no AC in the rooms. So on hot nights it can get pretty warm in the room. The hotel location is nice since it's within walking distance for alot of places. It's right down the road from the train station which is nice if you plan on taking the train in/out of Munich.

And a nice hotel and with the promotions do not spend much and very close to the center Marien Platz and has the Metro a few meters.

Nice hotel, can be a bit noisy if your room is on the street side. Good breakfast.

As a very average hotel we touched a room without cupboard and no shelves pa be able to put the clothes only hangers the best, Ke STA in the Center for everything.

Staff is friendly, room clean and adequately equipped. Centrally located so that the central station and the city centre can be easily reached on foot. A bit of a pity is that the tram just in front of the hotel "rumbles" and the hotel is a bit noisy. The direct vicinity of the hotel is unfortunately typical HBF and therefore only limited for lonely walks in the dark to recommend.

Small rooms, sleep only with closed window possible. Central location and good transport links.

The Hotel was very good and the location was great. As a counterpoint this is the treatment of the staff, which is far from the friendliness and good treatment of the foreign traveler. It's not the first time I've been in Bavaria unfortunately.
The breakfast is not very worthwhile; Very little variety for the price you have.

Nice place if you are visiting München and using public transportation. The beds are comfortable and the showers are good. Check-in took a while, but the lady at the desk was quite pleasant.

Clean and friendly. Good hotel though rather simply kept. Excellent location to explore the city. Lots of fast food stores around. Unfortunately on the street many shady figures.

For the cost I would say it is great, what to say or claim more!

The location relative to main train station gets most of the stars. The room is clean, serviced daily and everything felt safe in the room leaving item behind while sightseeing. The most important parts. But amenities are sparse. No fridge, No room safe, Thin walls hard to avoid hearing every flush around you.

The Hotel Stabus offers rooms in the level of a youth hostel with sink in the room. Only toilet and shower are separate.
The rooms are very noisy and you will automatically be taken to every phone call or conversation of the neighbors.
The breakfast is simple and a matter of luck. Sometimes there is coffee and scrambled eggs, but only if you are there very early. Within 30 minutes, neither fruit salad, nor eggs and bakes were replenished. Only after three reminders there was filter coffee. All other types of coffee must be paid extra and come lukewarm to the table. I would not recommend this hotel to any friend.

Very central… Unfortunately the attic rooms are only for children. Otherwise you can recommend it.

The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great Hotel in the middle of munich. Also the breakfast was great. Only the Personal could speak a little bit better German.

Rooms are really clean with a perfect location of the hotel.

The rooms are of the size not bad simply bath and toilet are rather small. Breakfast buffet was very good and the price of the room also. Unfortunately, outside until late at night the bar next to open so the noise level is slightly higher.

There is no parking, Wi-Fi for a fee.

Spacious rooms with good lighting, no safe, bathroom is comfortable.

Didn't have air-conditioning, that was a surprise, but had nice big openable windows and a comfortable bed.

Great location, nearby garage (€10 a day), friendly and clean room, friendly and helpful staff. Only bad note: From our room you could hear the noises of the bathrooms in the nearby rooms.

Gemütliche Zimmer, WLAN Empfang sehr gut. Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einzig der Lift hat schon bei drei Personen mit leichtem Gepäck gestreikt. Frühstück zubuchbar, haben wir nicht genutzt. Alles in allem ein Stern besser als das Cocoon am Sendlinger Tor.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. The location to the old town with a KFC in addition. Room slightly small, but nicely decorated.

If your room is at the street side probably you can't sleep because of too much noise. Mt room was too small and bad decorated.

I have stayed in many hotels near the main train station in Munich. The area is kind of questionable but I have never felt unsafe. The Cocoon Stachus is a nice modern hotel. It is considered a budget hotel but it is quite modern. I recently stayed in a single room and while it was not huge, it was comfortable. The room was colorful and the bed was comfortable. One of the strangest parts of the room is the bathroom. There isn't a separate bathroom. The sink and shower are in the room. The shower is glass and does not offer much privacy. If you are sharing this room with someone then you need to make sure you are comfortable with them watching you shower. Pros: AC inexpensive comfortable central location 5 Euros per night to use in their bar if you choose not to have your room cleaned Cons: local area can be off-putting to some rooms facing main street can be somewhat noisy Overall: I like this hotel and would stay here again when in Munich.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, Central location, reasonable price.

Location is ideal, Breakfast was o. K. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, with everything reconciled. Renovations would need to be mentioned (for example, cutting work in the Morning, Sleeping in is not possible). Room facilities partially makeshift (no wardrobe, beds on pegs, window not to open, wash basin in the corridor of the room). This would be a rebate have been appropriate. Radio is defective, which is important for time and messages for example) But as I said, the location and especially friendly staff: optimal.
