We enjoyed staying at the hotel. However we just felt air conditioning in summers is required. It was a quite warm for us during our stay at the hotel. Otherwise the hotel and staff were excellent and very helpful.

Excellent stay. Best breakfast I ever had!

Hurrying welcome, unaccompanied access to the room (ground floor), presence of the smell of closed in the room and unpleasant smell in bango coming from the shower. Total absence of hooks to hang towels or bathrobes, very small space to store clothes. With the window door open, the smog of cars from the nearby road adjacent to the hotel sometimes came.
Perimeter of shared garden outdoor area for all rooms on the ground floor, poor privacy: at 7.30 in the morning in front of our bed with window door on the open garden (the room is not air-conditioned) stationed other hotel occupants, chatting and smoking, sitting in front of our bedroom, on the only 2 chairs for all two tables common area and leaving their waste on the coffee table.
Satisfactory breakfast, friendly table staff, although I couldn't find the automatic orange squeezer that was last time we were guests here.
At the start during the payment we were asked if everything went well, but speaking little English and no German we could not communicate, indeed while we turned to the operator the male receptionist hindered our explanation asking insistently if we had a son who was in Munich for work.?, this while I was trying to explain that what had not gone well, perhaps to divert the argument complaints.

Fantastic small hotel set in lovely grounds — excellent modern light room with very good facilities. Great breakfast, friendly helpful staff. Located close to subway for easy access to Munich and surrounding areas. Would recommend if you are looking for quiet area just outside the city.

Modern, very clean Business — and sports hotel in a good Location, very good Service, beautiful Rooms and great Leisure activities. Breakfast is a lonely Tip, it is also worth living there.

The hotel environment was marvelous. The room was very nice, comfortable, very clean and quiet. The breakfast was wonderful with various kind of comestibles. I can confirm you that when I will visit Munchen again, I shall stay at Hotel Rothof.

The newly designed rooms are very nice, high quality and tastefully decorated. The staff are very friendly and helpful and we are very happy to come back.

Generous area distribution for deposit, work or internet surfing. Aussgesprochen quiet location, the balcony delightful to relax, staff very attentive and amiable, Super breakfast buffet, rest in record time.
For me as Vielbucher the Hotel Rothof in the chosen category absolutely front.

Room was very large and nicely decorated. Very quiet. Directly at a large park.
The breakfast was fabulous. It's a pity that you don't have so much time (and hunger) in the morning:-)
The staff was very friendly.
20 Euros a day for the dog, however, is a bit too much.

I know Hotel Rothof very well, as I live nearby and recommend it again and again for guests of the family.
The BNI entrepreneurial group Obsidian has also been established here since February 2014 and since February 2014 I enjoy the excellent breakfast buffet, friendliness and service. Always extremely warm and courteous.

Avoid. In Munich there are hotels to order better and at least not more expensive. Cress. Positive feedback I don't know whose. It's not true. The rooms are small, old. Baths for midgets. The rooms are very… One per person.

Very suitable hotel for a few nights in Munich, the breakfast was for the offered inclusive price above my expectations: fresh fruit, avocados and very friendly service. Before Christmas there were even biscuits on the tables. I would like to come back.

Great small friendly and well appointed hotel. Good sized rooms, clean, big bed, big balcony with views over gardens and park and really good breakfast with everything you could possibly want. Only missing thing for me was not having a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Great hotel though and will be looking to revisit when I next need to be in Munich for work.

A sensational breakfast, but the rest … not particularly friendly reception staff, chaotic check-in, rooms in need of renovation. All in all, unfortunately, — not an actzeptive price-/performance ratio compared to other hotels in Munich — … an exception is only the really extensive breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, however, this alone is not enough.

Quality Hotel away from the noise of the city, but near the metro.
Large, spacious rooms.
The breakfast is delicious, varied.
Its underground parking.
Close to the park, shops and restaurants.

Insultingly horrible customer service. Booked online, from the moment I went to the moment I left I have never been more appalled in my life. I would rather sleep on the streets. The customer service ignored us, laughed at us when we contested additional charges that were not advertised and reminded us that there is no where else to stay. I've stayed in some amazing and awful places and this one takes the cake, save your money and go somewhere else.

The Hotel has a nice ambience and friendly staff. I had stayed in one of their suites and I must say that it gives you a 5 star hotel room experience. However, the main door of the room has a translucent door. Somehow the corridor lights remain switched on all night and brightens up the room at night, which can be distracting during sleep. The breakfast choice is brilliant and I noticed many international guests enjoying their coffee in the beautiful back garden. Location is good as you are just off the city centre. It's near the famous Englischer Garden. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy Munich.

Spacious rooms and good garden. Hotel management is professional. Receptionists are not as welcoming and helpful as you would expect (except maybe miss Mariyam). The hosts during breakfast don't seems to understand what cusotmer means!

Really neat grounds and room layouts. No AC in my room, and I had to ask for shampoo. I've heard good things about breakfast. Love the sports club and restaurant associated with the property.

This was a very nice hotel. Clean, fantastic breakfast. The reception desk staff is very kind and accommodating. The downsides is no restaurant in opporation in the hotel, as it is away from everything. Also, the Wi-Fi is awful.

This is the best place in Bogenzausen. And breakfast is fantastic, hot. And the rooms are large, clean, with a balcony to a waterfall.

Very friendly staff, nice clean and well furnished rooms, super breakfast, combined with a good location are the guarantee for a pleasant weekend.

A walk in the Denninger anger we became aware on the Red courtyard restaurant. Since nice weather, we were able to sit there on the covered terrace. I must say, that the Burger, I had dinner with salad was really tasty! I am also very pleased by the price / performance – thank you! :-)

Nice hotel … nice services.

The supposedly "kid-friendly" sport area: Staff aims, but the "boss" clearly against children set and very rude, rude and unfriendly.
Unique: not to be recommended for families.
