All top and absolutely recommended! Great also what is being done about the Corona situation. At the good breakfast everything was perfect! Great praise! Everything clean and well maintained! Location is also quite good. If you are looking for super luxury, you are of course wrong here. Happy to return!

Looks like a cheep hotel. No shampoo at the bathroom, very small soap also. Old towels, no sanitary kit, no sleepers. At least it was a clean room…

The hotel is walking distance to the train station with a lot of restaurants and food shops. Easy access to the city center.

The room was clean bad: the terms of someone's hair, on mirrors and glass surfaces remained dirty ugly divorces. During the stay somehow reduced the number of towels in the room.

Great hotel with very friendly staff at the reception, from whom we felt well looked after. Beds very comfortable, rich breakfast buffet, which has been constantly replenished. The food in the bistro was also delicious and quite in the frame in terms of price. Since the cleanliness leaves nothing to be desired, I can really recommend the Courtyard Marriott Munich East.

Great location next to the Ostbanhof station. Easily accessible by just about every transport. Fantastic reception desk with particular mention of Mr. Ferr, but a slightly poor housekeeping experience. Rooms are decent but with troublesome doors. View is quaint and the rates pretty reasonable.

It is a good hotel for a couple of days. You are 3 blocks from the train station and the metro station so you can go it and out of the city easily. services and amenities standard for this chain. People was very polite and helpful.

Hotel was good in terms of the rooms etc, but they messed up with the pricing. I had booked on the points for the night and they had "mistakenly" charged for the room (i dont know how can they do that! ) and have yet not refunded me the amount in-spite of my 12 emails to them for the past 4 months now. I had stayed with them in March and now am in July… but I still get those "will respond in 3-4 Business days ". I would never recommend this hotel to anyone if they have such a weird way to handle finances. Wonder how they can still be with Marriott Group. Being a Platinum member in Marriott. Is making me think to change my loyalty program to Hilton!

June 2017 It’s hot in Munich. We came from Austria to spend some time in this wonderful historic city. The place is not hard to find and parking cost are a premium. Resteraunt had a good cook and the waiter most excellent manners. However, No A/C! (The idea of sleeping in the shower did cross my mind. Had a hard time sleeping. ) The staff said that the units are broken and no maintenance teams are available for the weekend. “May we have a different room? ” That is also unavailable for the weekend. The rooms are clean, quiet and humid. The price attractive — hence when booking they prefer you come here. Would love to revisit. Hopefully the A/C will be fixed by 2020.

Very friendly facility, the water and lemon at the reception is a nice thought after a long drive, and super professional and helpful staff. The room was very clean Slightly decentrated position.

Very nice hotel in Munich. While not located in the city centre, location is convenient as a major train/bus station is close buy. Small grocery stores, restaurants within minutes walk. Rooms are “new-ish”, clean and well kept having a boutique style theme. Washrooms have shower stalls (glass partition), but no bathtubs. The rooms are of average size (subjective observation), while not overly large, not small. Washroom size is of average size as well. Overall I never felt like I was constantly bumping into things due to room size, as I’ve felt at other hotels. There is a nice restaurant in the lobby, with a boutique style theme. A nice gym is located in the basement, with an ample selection of modern equipment, weights etc. The hotel also conveniently has a Hertz car rental counter in the lobby/check in area Overall a nice hotel that is modern, clean and up-to-date with friendly staff.

Very nice and modern hotel with large rooms and a great lounge. Staff are friendly and competent and you feel immediately welcome and comfortable. All around satisfied and happy again. Everything is perfect. The bed is incredibly comfortable and I would have taken it home straight away. ;)
Only parking is a bit awkward. Outside there are no parking spaces or parking spaces. Only for residents or you pay in the vending machines every two hours or you use the integrated car park — whereby I personally find €20a a day — even as a guest a little too much.

Great hotel but with staff and services to redesign.

I have top tier status with Marriott and stay in many Marriott hotels. This definitely one of the better Courtyards. Easy access by car and train from the airport. Easy car park under the hotel itself. Easy access to the highway if you are heading south of Munich. Breakfast buffet is very good. Dinner me is decent, but there are many good places around the hotel. Good beer at the hotel bar. Rooms are always immaculate and I love the espresso machine and free espresso. Staff are always super friendly and helpful in person and over the phone. I was however asked to stop taking photos inside the hotel. Shame as I am giving a great review.

Just WOW! The staff were very friendly, the room was very nice.

Loved to give more stars but not happy with their winter breakfast. Staff were friendly but food needs to improve. Hotels rooms need renovation and bathrooms are old. The room we were in bathroom door wasn't closing and we were asked bang hard to close the door.

Very good, professionally run meeting rooms with a really good lunch buffet! From the outside not quite chic but right at the Ostbahnhof, which scores.

Rooms are small but nice and have what you need. Breakfast was good to start the day off prior to questionable business meeting meals. Close to easy transportation around town. Good restaurants in close proximity.

Hotel not bad staff helpful one great problem l had purchased a stay package offered by marriott — l have confirmation but nobody in the hotel knew anything about the package so it cost me money.

The customer service and communication was very poor. The room was clean but not a great view. Despite being Gold Elite members we didn’t get any enhanced internet, offer of late checkout, continental breakfast, or any other hotel benefits. We’re very disappointed with our stay. We won’t be coming back.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. It's located walking distance to Ostbanhof station. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. My biggest issue is that the room was pretty warm and there did not seem to be a way to properly control the thermostat.

Staff were friendly and inviting. The lobby is a little small but opens up near the elevators. The room was nice, and had a mini fridge. The bathroom was a regular size with everything in one room. The shower did have mold in some areas but overall clean. No bathtub. The location is good, it's near a nice Cafe and the ostbanhof which is a huge station so you can travel almost anywhere. The walk to city central is doable and safe, about 35 minutes at a slow pace.

Very nice hotel, in a good location for getting on public transit, not being to far from the U or S lines that serve the city. The bar is a great place to grab a night cap, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast service was really good, though not included in the room, so be prepared to part with a few Euros. We were there during Oktoberfest, so it was not as quiet as I imagine it typically is, rooms were well appointed.

The staff is VERY friendly and it's a short walk to the Ostbanhof train station which is convenient. The rooms are standard and the bar downstairs has a great atmosphere.

The staff is excellent, very accommodating with several helpful encounters. The rooms are very nice and clean, comfortable beds too. The included breakfast was a great spread. Close to the SBahn stop for easy access to the rest of Munich. Will definitely stay here again!

It is okay. 'American' part of breakfast buffet not worth the extra cost imo, ironic: Bavarian sausages are part of it. Location is good, centre in walkable distance.

The hotel is quite clean. Staff has been helpful regarding directions and hotel programs. Would recommend for those wary of speaking German since all staff we've interacted with speak English.

Good rooms and nice staff, breakfast was of a high standard. Even the regular Wi-Fi was pretty fast which is unusual. The tiling in my bathroom (209) was poor and the shower temperature fluctuated, but all in all a good hotel.

Meets all the requirements you need as a business traveler. Clean, usable Wi-Fi and affordable underground parking. Selection at breakfast fits.

The breakfast is a bit small for 2 hotels and also the decision between hot and non-hot dishes I find a bit funny — especially because the warm was not to be found in my expected quality. Nevertheless, a beautiful hotel.

There must be those who help with the luggage¡¡¡¡

The Courtyard is conveniently located on the east side of downtown Munich. Only a short walking distance restaurants, supermarkets, stores and major public transportation (like the Train Station, S-Bahn or Bus Stations). The Courtyard offers many amenities and the appearance of the hotel / bedrooms is very modern, upscale, clean and new. The staff is very friendly, speak fluently English and accommodated all our needs. Definitely will consider the Courtyard again when visiting Munich, Germany.

The hotel is perfect for business travelers. Rooms are fresh, staff keep them very clean, and location is great for access to autobahn. Front desk always takes care of any requests, and are all bilingual (speak English). Bar will show soccer games during the season, and is a great spot to unwind at the end of the day. The hotel is a few blocks for the metro and train, and has lots of great restaurants nearby. Breakfast spread is over the top, the gym is nice, and I never have trouble finding a parking spot in their garage. I wish their lunch or dinner menu was a bit broader, but what they serve is not bad. The neighborhood is nice and safe — never had issues or worries walking around in the evenings. Also, check out Taverna Paros 4 blocks away for amazing Greek food, or L'Angelo della Pizza for the best wood stove cooked thin crust pizza!

Completely acceptable clean hotel. Close to train station and just a few stop from city center.

Great hotel, about 10 minutes walk from the train station, 15 minutes to city center. The staff are very kind and accommodating. We arrived at 9am and we're able to check in and get an upgraded room (I am marriott gold) right away. The room and bathroom are a nice size (American style) and clean and updated. I would recommend asking for a room on the back side of the hotel. The front rooms have a window facing the main road and the street noise can be loud at night.

As advertised. Decent, upgraded hotel, near a train station. Not many food options nearby. We stayed here during Christmas. Easy access to train and 2 stops down from Christmas village.

Well run hotel near the train station. Seems a bit out of the way, but pretty convenient if you take the metro/Ubahn into town.

The hotel is fairly new, with modern fixtures and furniture. It's a short (3-5 minutes) walk from the Munich Ost train station. The S8 train from the airport drops you at this station, and there are trains every few minutes that will take you to the city center in a manner of minutes. I arrived around 10am, which is extremely early in hotel terms. I expected I'd have to store my luggage and wait until the official checkin time for a room, but the front desk clerk (Moritz) was extremely friendly and accommodating and found me a room. The room was pretty much what you'd expect from any Courtyard in the US — which means the room was absolutely massive by European standards. It had a large desk area with a height-adjustable comfortable chair (essential if you're planning on getting work accomplished during your trip). There were a large number of standard 2-pin Euro sockets around the desk, bed, and baseboards. If you're like me and pack a ton of gadgets, it's nice not to have to hunt for enough outlets. There's also a USB plugin next to the television that you can use to charge your phone/tablet/etc without needing to futz around with an adapter. The thermostat is a simple twist-knob for hotter or colder air — it doesn't let you set a specific temperature. I didn't have any trouble using it to stay comfortable. The bathroom had a tub/shower combo with a glass door. Plenty of hot water and very strong water pressure.

I am a corporate client and with that I have free internet. However, this front desk person by the name of Moustafa just minutes earlier told me that there is no such thing. He 'asks' for a proof. How ignorant can Courtyard hire someone like him? When I checked in I was told that internet is free as this is a negotiated rate with my company. I already have a bill that shows without internet. But Mr Moustafa here arrogantly sees he is right and prints me the 'latest' bill with internet in it. I refused to pay and insists to wait for the staff in the morning. And this Mr Moustafa was even more stuck up and just did not care. For all corporate clients out there, becareful with this hotel.
