They do not let me in restaurant, saying they are fullly booked (really? In Liechtenstein? ), but there were many empty tables (and even whole empty hall). Instead they advised me to try other restaurant (which, acctually do not show any sign of life, so I am not sure, if they really didn't know that (which is hardly possible in such tinny place) or it was the highest kind of subtle insult.

Very clean rooms, nice Peronal. The evening menu and breakfast are top. Due to the train station 50m away and about 350m away Lake Constance is the location great. The TVs could have better reception and more channels if you want to watch TV late at night. The 4 stars deserve the hotel definitely.

All tip top. Unfortunately no air conditioning in the room. Dogs allowed.

Nice family hotel with good cuisine, small but nice spa area.

We had the junior suite for 2 nights. The room was very nice. Small deduction for several spider weaving on the blankets. The could be removed during cleaning at a 4 * hotel.
Breakfast was great. We were also very happy with the dinner: Taste top, service (seemingly) sometimes a bit overwhelmed. My girlfriend's main course was probably incorrectly received one evening and then came several minutes after mine.
The small but fine pool is also very nice but there were only 10 sunbathing options, which can certainly become a "problem" with a full house in the summer.
Verdict: It was a nice stay with a star deduction for the aforementioned "makel. "

I was looking forward to this new Year's stay and was very disappointed. I had booked a comfort room in single, but it was not my disappointment when I discovered my room. An old decoration, a dark room, absolutely not soundproof (I heard the steps of people on the stairs! ) a bathroom window that looks on another window, a shutter that even closed stays open because cut out. In any case nothing to do with the pictures I had seen on the website of the hotel, it's very disappointing! When I made my complaint at the hotel reception, I was told that "this room is in the comfort category and not standard". I wonder what the standard rooms can look like? I was kindly granted a discount of €30 on a stay at €495, knowing that my friends in standard room we paid €415, it's really unacceptable! I do not recommend this hotel, the staff is not welcoming, even sometimes arrogant. We were reprimanded because we arrived late for the meal from 1 January to the evening, when we were not aware of a schedule. As for the new Year's greetings, we are still waiting for them!

Nice hotel with a balcony restaurant and spa.

We stayed in a deluxe room for 8 nights with our large dog who was welcome in the hotel with the exception of the restaurant (fair enough). The room was spacious, clean and had all the basic amenities I would expect in a 4*. Although we were half board, we only ate one evening meal here as I'm local so preferred to go out with family and friends. The meal we did have was good but at times felt like they were trying a little too hard and letting themselves down on basics like under seasoning the soup. Wine list was extensive and predominantly local, we had a fantastic bottle of Lanz Riesling! Breakfasts were typically continental with the added bonus of terrace seating during good weather. Laundry service was super fast (same day). Overall, the service was good if not a little contrived and stiff at times. Would love to give 5 stars but felt that there is room for improvement and for the prices charged, you expect a lot and a bar that is open every evening for hotel guests.

I love this place. If there were more stars I would use more. We had amazing service, amazing food, amazing rooms and everyone who works there is really nice. They made a fuss about my birthday without being told, which was a nice touch, but they went out of their way to ensure we were happy and it felt natural. My friend is lactose intolerant and they made sure to have lactose free milk, they even brought him a different desert without milk products which was such a sweet surprise. I cannot wait to come back.

First time we allowed a wine waiter to recommend a wine for us. We were not disappointed. It was lovely and good value and complemented the delicious meal perfectly. Great for veggies.

Good restaurant, rooms are well appointed and very well maintained. The spa area could be larger and unfortunately it is only available from 4pm to 8pm. Therefore a star deduction.

Exceptional food but the prices are quite high.

Very nice restaurant with covered terrace tastefully furnished. We have enjoyed the perfectly prepared and tasty lunch menu (at an unrivalled price) on a bicycle tour. Good wine selection and very friendly service.

I stayed here on a business trip for 6 nights, which I think is unusual compared to their typical guests who are on vacation. The hotel is a little out of the way, though was convenient for me. I had to be at Messe Friedrichshafen every day, and the commute was an easy 25 minutes. Although only a few of the staff spoke English (the owner/chef and one of the waiters), I did not have any major communication problems. The hotel is really pretty. Nonnenhorn is a tiny town and is very picturesque. The room was certainly very comfortable and clean, although the decor was a little dated for my taste. My only complaint was that they did not replace the shampoo bottles during my stay, so I ran out of shampoo on my last night there. The highlight of the hotel for me was the restaurant. The food was fantastic and the service excellent. I had the best soup ever — Banana Curry Soup with a shrimp scampi — wow! I at in the restaurant every day, breakfast and dinner. Everything I had was incredible. They do not have Wi-Fi in the rooms, which is a pity for me as I had to work every night. However, they were very accommodating, and I worked in the restaurant and lobby without a problem. When I had a connection, except for one night, it was really fast and efficient for me. I have to be back in the Friedrichshafen area next year for a week again, and I will stay here again.
