Cozy Hotel, nice rooms and good food. A place to feel good!

Home-cooked food and salad from the buffet. Very nice, but nothing special. Cheese schnitzel quite dry.

Have visited this café on a hot Sunday afternoon here. We were not offered a card, neither a menu nor an ice cream menu! Although outside on the signs stood ice cream, cakes, windbags, etc.
Operations very unfriendly. Rough tone!
We would find cakes in the restaurant. But also there no reference to an ice card or an offer!
Waitress then annoyedly downed the range of coffee options.
We had the feeling that the guests were not very friendly. There wasn't too much going on for Sunday either.
Not recommended. What a pity!

Restaurant great. Great food. For years the same atmosphere, same operation, same map. Awesome.

Lovely traditional family run hotel. Rooms are exeptionally claen and well kept. Good Wi-Fi connection everywhere in the building. Varied menu but also Half/Full Board possible. We use this place as a start point for our Trans Alp MTB tour for 7 years now. Totally reccomend!

Oh how wonderful, whether food or in the pouring rain under the pavilion sip a beer with cool guests, great team, fast on your feet and with the typical Bavarian snare, so funny — with dog and children, there are all welcome.

Rude Staff. No one was interested when I walked into the restaurant with my wife. No one asked if we need anything although there were three employees and not too many costumers. After waiting a while I went and asked the Bartender can we have a table for two. He said that we can sit where we like. When we approched the table and started to remove our Jackets Weitress came and put on the table reservation card, then she left without saying anything completly ignoring my wife and me.

Very quiet, friendly welcome. Absolutely clean room and bathroom. Cosy terrace — ideal for our obligatory aperitif. Fine kitchen. Great price/performance and extensive breakfast. We would come back immediately and thank kindly H. P. And Luzia Gschwend Lachen/Switzerland NB: The large sun store in the garden is full of pollen and looks a bit dirty (deserves an early cleaning)

A week in half board. Despite the weather not nice atmosphere, excellent cuisine and friendly atmosphere will make your stay in these beautiful places very nice. Very large rooms with spacious bathroom!

We have stayed at Hotel Nuss twice. We found the experience extremely nice the first time. Our large group got pretty rowdy several evenings in the main dining room and were greeted by Germans in a very friendly way despite our boisterous tourist behavior! Their family ate dinner in the dining room with all of the rest of us which we thought was great! The second time was a bit quieter but, the atmosphere was still very Bavarian, cozy and warm with a country style. The rooms were very nice, the bathrooms were absolutely spotless and the view was excellent, postcard photos right from our balcony! The breakfast was to die for, everything you can imagine in a buffet style as well as an excellent menu selection! I loved the hard rolls with a wide variety of meats and cheeses with hefe weizen for breakfast! They had a nice bar! The food and beverages were all excellent! Especially the Bavarian Beer which is world famous from this region. This alone is reason enough to travel there in my opinion! There was shopping right on the same street and also close by. Garmish Parten-Kirchen is also just down the street. Zugspitze, the highest mountain in Germany was only a short drive, which we also enjoyed immensely on both occasions! I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area and Zugspitze as well. Both times were a real treat! I felt the owners (Tom and his wife) paid special attention to us on both visits! I am sure they will probably do the same for you also.
