Actually very good Hotel in a good Location. Rooms are neat and clean. Not super modern but also not old acting.
Breakfast good with very good Service.
But overall, I find the Prices a little too high.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast excellent with a wide choice of cereals, rolls, cheeses, meats and other things. Our superior room was enormouse, comfortable and had a balcony with table and 2 chairs and side views of the mountains. Everything is spotlessly clean. Attractive garden to relax in. Ten minutes walk to restaurants and shops.

Very comfortable, friendly hotel about 10 mins walk from centre of town. Large and very clean rooms with a large variety of food at breakfast. Very friendly staff.

We stayed in the hotel for a night in first decade of May, nice country style wooden house with antique furniture, polite service and tasty breakfast with a great view of the surrounding mountains and underground parking for our rental car. Walking distance from the center we also got free tourist pass for local transportation for the time of our visit there.

It's a dream place. Beautiful views of the peaks and slopes. It is extremely warm and familiar. Excellent attention. The breakfast was very good and the staff were very helpful. Ideal location, just a few steps from the city centre. Highly recommended. I would return without hesitation. Very comfortable to get by car as well.

This hotel is pretty neat, clean, friendly customer service and seems to be a family owned and operated. The rooms that we got was at the highest floor (3rd floor) with nice different views on each room. They give free breakfast in the mornings and it's quite good too. Will come back here again hopefully next time.

What a fantastic hotel in Garmisch-Patenkirchen and a must stay! It's such an easy drive from Munich to Garmisch and the underground parking (upon request) was greatly appreciated especially for the winter. The Hotel is perfect for the region, excellent stay that are very attentive and go above and beyond to ensure your stay is nothing short of perfect. The breakfast is excellent and the hotel as a whole is clean, warm, well appointed and very friendly. The hotel staff give great advice and different ideas on what to do in the area aside from the normal in Winter. It's an easy 5 minute walk to the town centre and the Hotel will help you make any reservations for dinner, lunch etc and even some recommendations if you don't know what you want. The Hotel is also just far enough from the main roads leading and going through Garmisch so it's very quiet and a must stay! We will definitely be back.

Friendly staff, efficient service and tasty breakfast with very good coffee and espresso. We booked a two room suite but second bedroom could only access the bathroom thru the first bedroom. So we booked an extra room. Also, be aware there is no elevator and our room was three flights up. There is no restaurant but many good ones are a 10 minute walk. Enjoyed great wine along with snacks in the relaxing garden.

This was a wonderful spot, and the host went out of her way to make sure we got a rental car to get to Neuschwanstein. Breakfast was top notch too, and I loved having a beer in the cozy lounge!

Great little hotel with friendly familiar charm. Very nice room with fast free Wi-Fi. Extensive delicious breakfast buffet with very nice friendly operation. Great quiet location on the river Partnach — all the essentials in Garmisch can be reached in a few minutes. Very friendly owners who give great tips and even driving one at the train station if BB´s must go fast. Conclusion: An insider's tip — worth every penny…

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Edelweiss Garni this past August — and it was lovely. Professional and friendly staff. The room was large and comfortable and beautiful and clean. The hotel is on a quiet street but only a short walk to the very nice town district. Very affordable, too. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The friendly reception at the front Desk, was on arrival very positive. The beautiful room was the establishment incl. The ambience is very comfortable and well equipped and very clean, also with a great view (gorgeous). A Breakfast with plenty of choice, fresh fruits, and very many "Extras" such as already at the reception and in the Breakfast room very friendly staff. At Hotel Edelweiss, you will feel "completely at home“, I can only highly recommend.

Loved the hotel. I recommend it highly to anyone wanting a good priced large room with all the amenities. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was awesome. This was the only place we stayed in Germany with eggs to order for a free breakfast. My only discouragement is that we did not stay longer. This hotel is a must stay for trips to Garmisch.

Our only regret with booking Hotel Edelweiss was that we didn't stay longer. Everything about it was perfect — it looked charming, the rooms were large and well maintained, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is about five minutes walk from town, through a lovely park, on a very quiet road. It has free Wi-Fi for guests, and a lovely garden in which to enjoy your breakfast or a late night drink. Highly recommended.
