Great food friendly staff super café great ambience.

I always like to come here when I am in the area, the food is very good, the waiters all friendly and courteous (although some touri thinks he can get upset because of every little thing for no reason).
In the beer garden you have a great view of the lake and you can watch the hustle and bustle, which sometimes leads to a smile.
So everything TOP, I recommend with a clear conscience.

Super food, super staff.

Nice spot. Very tightly seated. Fish platter for two people for 40 euros severely disappointing. Fish varieties all taste the same, vegetables not seasoned at all, salad almost no dressing, skewer half raw. Has been wrong decision.

Very tasty food and a nice view to the lake. Unprofessional waiters. After we ordered, they us in German something like :”Together? ”. In any other restaurant this means than me, my husband and our kid want to have the first course at the same time, then, when we finish, we would like to have the second course at the same time and at the end we want they bring the dessert at the same time for three of us. Instead, we got ALL the plates at the same time! No waiter understood what was wrong. None of them tried to find a solution so we have to face a table full of food and to eat some plates after they got cold.

Very nice location, right on the lake. Heavily frequented by tourists. When eating, everyone will certainly find something, including a lot of regional food. The quality is, unfortunately, rather average. Service is highly dependent on the person on very nice to doesn't go at all.

Nice beer garden right on the Chiemsee. The menu offers a good selection. The waitresses are very nice. With this view, what food & drink is a round thing.

Well, that's different. We waited forever for our food (easy 1 1/2 hours and the restaurant was a maximum of half full), then came the wrong one with the statement you would have said the Haxe was out. You didn't. The promised free drinks as reparations did not come either. This is what the waiter noticed when paying. The location is really good, the restaurant is visually beautiful too, but the service really broke us in the case.

Restaurant: Except pizza, everything is unpalatable! Staff is trying, but that's just not enough. The location is nice, with a drink. That's all you can recommend.

The food is extremely delicious and the service staff very friendly and courteous. The great location of the restaurant (right on the lakeside) speaks for itself.

The beautiful location on the lake does not help the disappointing cuisine. The staff were very helpful and the room was very clean. Two guests have gone to the neighbouring tables because they have not been or have been served poorly. Apparently, the adjoining "Italian" has the same owner, because the same staff also runs there.
The Grillhaxe came very fast, was lukewarm inside and not crispy on the outside, so only warmed up and not freshly prepared. Sauerkraut was fried, the cabbage salad tasted bland.
The mixed salad was average. The dressing was brought first when we were ready with the food.
Overall a great disappointment and only designed for tourists, not to regular customers.

Food is good, the lakeside location of course is perfect! Also the price and friendliness of the waitresses are all right!

The restaurant is right on the lake with great views. Unfortunately, the staff is rather poor and when we had to wait over an hour on Sunday for our pizza, we went without eating then. No one knew how long it would take, let alone a waitress told us before that it might take longer. Somehow all are planned and you should think carefully if you go with hunger to the Westernacher!

Good restaurant in very nice surroundings with a great view over the Chiemsee. I always get irritated by cards that have too many things from different food cultures. That's why I have the four stars. There is nothing to be wrong with the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. It's going to be a good job. In summer you can also sit outside very nicely. During the season there is a lot of public traffic!

Very poor price/performance ratio, got a fish full of bones with Woody asparagus, plus still cold.
There is hardly any surface on the pizzas. On complaint the staff responded incomprehensible. Very small portions at expensive prices. Never again…

Pizza was great, but the staff seems partly (rather the male) arrogant and not welcoming, making a very long wait (both to order and on the dish). Marrochino did not taste like Marrochino but hot chocolate and the apple strudel was a bit salty.

Food was relatively good. Service totally poor. We had Christmas party, but the music in the eatery was very loud and disco music.
I'm not going to go there anymore. There are so many other restaurants where you are served kindly and the host rejoices when you come.

Was very pleased were with 26 people lunch! Food came quickly and was plentiful we had the scavenger plate which was very good! Everything was great for the kids too! And you can't complain in price either!

Pros: Great view, clean room, central parking-but no reservation is possible for hotel guests.
Cons: Very loud staff, which permanently pops the doors and calls in the hallway (which as long as the restaurant is on), bathroom from the Stone Age, breakfast in the neighboring hotel.

The location of the restaurant seems very inviting, but after a short attendance you can see that the staff is not so welcoming. Even the ordered and after an extremely long waiting period received was not good … 4 schnitzel that was fine in taste but could not have been more different. There was something for everyone, the repertoire ranged from many fries to the 10 fries on a plate, from cold to lukewarm, from salted to unseasoned and to the demand for equal portions there is then an answer that makes the taste more intense. After the criticism that has been voiced, we have been virtually ignored. Requested drinks were not served!
… For us, the visit was a disappointment!

Very bad service, unfriendly waiters and the icecream was not so good.

Not the best service. We were forgotten upon arrival, were not brought a menu, and had to ask a number of times to order. The food came quickly and was of a good quality. The Pizza Regina comes recommended. There was a mistake with our order regarding drinks, and they tried to charge us for the extra drink mistakenly put on our bill.

Good service, tasty food, fresh Küchen, not too "speady" the waiters, but what the heck, it's Süd Bayern! Really, it's OK. And astonishing view of the mountains.

Very bad service and very rude personnel It takes 50 minutes to get a salad. During the evening we were there in August 2016 many customers left the restaurant without satisfaction just like we did.

Location sehr schön direkt an der Promenade. Sehr große Auswahl von Gerichte. Gutes Essen. Service war etwas schlechter. Das Essen kam nicht zusammen. Nach 20 Minuten wurden die Penne mit Tomatensauce von unseren Sohn erst serviert. Nach fast eine Stunde wurde das Gericht von meine Frau noch nicht serviert. Auf Nachfrage bei der zuständigen Bedienung hat er sich halbherzig entschuldigt. Wir fühlten uns aber als Gast nicht ernst genommen. Sehr schade!

Very good food in a super location on Lake Chiemsee.

Beer good views very good, staff friendly but unclear way at times uncoordinated or overwhelmed at even for the half-filled beer garden. Regulars are apparently preferred. Were not the only ones who have wondered about long waits and annoyed. Food was OK and the risotto was a rice dyed with red. Feel better. …!

Terrible! everything terrible! unfriendly and Eckel worrying. Toilet, I myself had to disinfect and clean! "modern" room super bad "renovated". Have get another room at hotel Schlossblick's janitor was minimally better. Total scam (sry for the word choice)! old Eamon rooms and apartments! cleaned since virtually nothing has been! Please take people prefer a tent before going there! Eagle power of 10!

Signs for the reception of the guesthouse bad, the find of the right room difficult (due to entrances, including incorrect indication to the floor by staff), the bathroom was very small (not usable for tall people) — consists almost only of sloping roof and moldy wall (not high enough gefließt), old furniture, little attention to detail. So I can't say anything bad. I was served decent, the food was really good and well, the prices could be slightly cheaper, but we must not forget also, it is just the Tourismus. Nachdem I am myself a Frasdorfer too much in Aschau in the Spa Cafe and cellar rat was, the prices are almost similar.
I see everything to beech the coziness of the waiting staff, effort, very well maintained, which proposes maintaining the value of u. S. W. Das.
As I said, it is really recommended to pay a visit there. Staff were friendly polite and clean.
