Absolutely incredible and beautiful property. The staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly. The quality of everything here is extraordinary.

Everything very well maintained and the breakfast is awesome.

Allea is just perfect. No wish is left open. The food tastes great. The wine accompaniment is also very good. I can only recommend this restaurant.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Beautiful rooms and the scenery is out of this world. Lots of history within the surrounding area. The visitor centre is a must. Loved this place.

Great hotel in impressive nature!

Fantastic place. I would recommend this at any time! The view and rooms are spectacular. I lost my Jacket and told reception — who then took care of it. I came back into my room at night and it was hang up. These are the small things that makes it outstanding.

I have been there many-many years ago, when it was called Intercontinental. This is the kind of a hotel, that’s a reminiscent of a golden era of luxury hospitality — glamorous, comfortable, incredible service, awe-inspiring location… just marvellous! This is one of my favorite hotels that I have ever stayed!

Kempinski was absolutely breathtaking, the view of the mountains was stunning, the food was one of the best dinners my husband and I ever had. Everything in the hotel was perfection!

Been many-many times, from that was Intercontinental hotel and then also few times as it was acquired by Kempinski. Things getting better in last year — more authentic, more connected with natural, more English speaking service (btw, important! ). Rooms slightly refurbished — good. SPA — untouched, great! Breakfast nicer now, cool new coffee station. Kids club absolutely wonderful! Tons of different perks (just ask) like e-bikes, Mercedes AMG experience, etc. Will return.!

After a first somewhat enduring experience in the summer of 2017, we decided, due to the great location of the hotel, to give the Kempinski Berchtesgaden a second chance. In cold temperatures and surrounded by a metre of snow, we have not regretted this decision and we are very pleased that all the points complained about were taken seriously and worked on them.
The location is perfectly quietly located surrounded by forests. The staff is very friendly, helpful and professional without being intrusive. Pool and spa are very relaxing, the rooms lovingly furnished and the breakfast a real treat.
We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Great location of the hotel, very close to a ski slope, very friendly reception, great modern spa with indoor and outdoor pool. Food at the Johann Grill Restaurant is good but very expensive. Breakfast excellent with great service. Deduction is available for service at the spa, old mugs were not cleared away and even the cleaning of the rooms did not meet the usual Kempinski standard.

You know what to expect. It's very pleasant! And the staff are polite and courteous as you are used to from this house!

The wide selection at the breakfast buffet was particularly impressive. We sat on the terrace for hours and enjoyed the relaxing and quiet atmosphere.
The staff were very attentive and courteous. The rooms were also quite comfortably furnished and clean. However, as a tip, if anyone still wants to book: The rooms on the east side have the much nicer view.

Top of the class. Hotel is in a perfect location, the Breakfast and the Restaurant absolutely. The staff is remarkable, it is experienced very rarely.

Tranquil setting, nice views and surroundings. Beautiful rooms and fine food. Got a cosy bar with a piano player in the weekend. Staff is always helpful. Only the spa dissatisfied me. It's not inviting you to relax and spend some time there the way it was designed. As the hotel is located relatively high, it was snowing and everything turned white, when in the valley close-by it was pouring rain.

The hotel is almost perfect with chic decoration and design. The room is very big, suitable for families with kids. But the shower is not very clean, a bit old. The swimming pool is wonderful, perfect for kids, even in a bit cold weather. The breakfast is good with many choices. However the price is also a bit expensive.

TERRIBLE SERVICE! No-one was at the door to assist me upon arrival so I had to carry my own bag out of the car& into the hotel. Had to wait 15 minutes at reception before I was helped& checked in. Had to carry my luggage and make my own way to my room. Room very superficially cleaned, very dirty under bed & behind furniture items. Very limited fresh fruit at breakfast. Only one vegetarian option on the entire menu at Johanns grill and the food is not good at all. The man at the door of Johanns grill is very rude & gave me a hard time about not making a reservation even thought I took the calinary package and the restaurant was never at fully capacity for dinner.

Amazing hotel and staff. Perhaps the best hotel our family ever stayed at. Recommend trying out the AMG rental service.

You are choosing this hotel for two reasons: the view and the service. This is a hotel of pure luxury accompanied by a magical view of the Alps. The heated outdoor pool at night is wonderful and the food (like all Kempinski hotels) is excellent. The rooms are spacious and the staff are friendly and accommodating. It's an absolute pleasure to be staying in this hotel.

Great hotel with an absolutely stunning location. Rooms are spacious and well equipped, facilities are good and well maintained. Dinner at Le Ciel restaurant was a highlight.

Definitely for the whole family, service fantastic, rooms great food amazing and the location is amazing. Loved it and would visit again. Stayed for 2 nights.

Kempinsky Berchtesgaden is a dirty place. It is overprized. The rooms date back to the late fifties. When someone in three, four, five rooms closes a door you hear it in your room. The scenery around the hotel is great that is the ONLY positive point I can make for this hotel.

Even a software provider must stay relaxed. Give 5 stars.

We were there the first week of November. Great location, great service Especially the ladies and gentlemen who served us so nicely at breakfast. We celebrated the fiftieth birthday of my husband there, it was just super. Great praise to all. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic! My "Go to" mini vacation at Christmas and in the summer. And I live in the Intercontinental in Doha Qatar. Recommend having a room with a fireplace and an the amazing view of the mountains. Breathtaking!

The very definition of a five star hotel, this beautiful hotel boasts amazing rooms, great food, stunning spa facilities (the outside hot pool being a highlight for me) and some of the best views from a hotel window you can get of the Bavarian Alps. Highly recommended.

Come on guys! It's paradise! It's a real Eagle's Nest!

Amazing from start to end. Great service, location is perfect, there's a reason why Hitler had his house built just a few hundred feet away from the hotel, and Göring had his where Kempinski now stands. There is a lot of WW2 history in the area, even a bunker system below the hotel which are unfortunately shut off, and buses going up to The eagle's nest are also very close. The view from most of the rooms is stunning, like a post card the rooms themselves are huge.

One of the best looking hotels in Germany. There is loads of animals all around, surrounded by nature.

Whay a hotel! I didn't spend the night but I cant wait to. Next time I visit Germany or Austria I'll make sure to spend a weekend here and hike the Eagles Nest… If you plan in doing the same make sure the roads are accessible as they're only one a few months a year.
