Very nice hotel! Everything actually fit here. Only the parking situation in the heart of Oberstdorf is a little difficult, but the location of the hotel is unbeatable.
Otherwise, the staff is very friendly and professional, the rooms attractively furnished and the breakfast excellent. There is also a great deal of attention paid to cleanliness.
All in all highly recommended!

The Service in the Restaurant was courteous and fast. The Food tasted very good and the Serving was in a normal Size. The Restaurant is not for the "I want a Schnitzel over a meat plateau faction. "

The Wiener schnitzel came out of the pan, so it should be. Overall, all the meals served at the table were tasty, the service very attentive and accommodating. The price-performance ratio is right, overall high level.

Concerns the economy, the evening restaurant ESS — Ateliers I don't know.
Has unfortunately dropped strongly. From the toilets. From a restaurant with this self-conception/price level I expect no defective Klobrillen or rickety door fittings.
At the service I expect that the waiter does not shower me when opening an iron beer bottle. After bringing the bill, I expect the waiter to keep an eye on me and reappear after a reasonable time. Why did I not be referred as a guest to the offers that are not in the card (but on the columns)?
The food is OK, but the whistle it once had is gone. Ergo is rather too expensive.
Overall the impression remains that one is full and satisfied.

Very nice and cosy hotel very centrally located. The rooms are nice and clean. The sauna area is quite small but very cozy, clean and nice/modern furnishings. The breakfast buffet is rich and offers a very nice selection of sweet and savory dishes. Quality everything really good and fresh. The staff are very friendly and attentive and try to respond to any request. All in all a very nice hotel to spend a wonderful ski or hiking weekend.

At the booking it starts already — friendly and uncomplicated the request (Vegan & gluten-free food) was added. On site very warm and personal reception and throughout the whole stay an attentive care in the hotel and restaurant. The food was very good. The staff is professional, very helpful, accommodating, friendly and high season!

Parking issues for guests.
Too few parking spaces. All very close in the middle of the village.
Sauna in the hotel very nice and modern. The hotel is a very old building. There is no elevator. Very strenuous for the suitcase transport. The rooms are a matter of taste. Very dry air. The bathroom is very modern.
Breakfast is ok. For 4 stars but not appropriate. I know that differently.
The staff also need to get used to it. The W — lan was bad, too. Unimaginably, you thought there was no such thing anymore.
The place is also sleepy and quiet. Only closed shops. If you needed something you had pitch.
Not again.

We had a very tasty breakfast at the lion today. Even otherwise everything seemed very high-quality and professional.

Central location and fabulous rooms with double balcony/conservatory and I loved the alpine theme. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of variety. We also sampled a local yodelling band as they had evening entertainment which really made the night. I would definitely recommend but if you are a light sleeper you may not like the church bells close by.

I can't understand the other reviews, this place was terrible. The dinner here cost around twice as much as our others in Oberstdorf (a "treat" at the end of our stay) and was the worst food. The rough greyish lumps of tuna "sashimi" were very tough and difficult to cut and didn't taste of much, the bread accompanying the tiny oversweet soup was somewhat stale, like it had been sliced that morning and left out all day, the only vegetarian main was a weird combination of "oriental couscous" and "wok vegetables" and was pretty bland. And as for the very expensive "pink roast beef with mushroom gnocchi", the sauce was almost inedibly salty, the gnocchi were tough, the mushrooms were grey and slimy, and they had somehow managed to make the roast beef extremely dry, despite it being cooked slightly pink. Furthermore, one of the waiters called my partner "du" (the familiar/impolite form of you), which I've never experienced in germany, even in much cheaper more casual places. In short, this place is massively overpriced for the poor quality, badly prepared food that they serve. A real tourist trap; avoid.

The fine food at the specially-equipped business tasted me very. From the hotel, I can write anything because I simply was a guest in the restaurant.

Excellent food but absolutely unacceptable Service. Unsuspecting power on the phone, reservation does not work — this is eating away, obviously untrained unfähiges and overworked staff. A shame, the pub was was previously properly well, you should now visit just envisage if you really annoy'd,

Very well maintained small Hotel in Oberstdorf. The rooms are spacious and clean, the food in the Restaurant delicious. Despite the Central location it is in the room, ours was on the street, not loud.

Caution I rate only the Restaurant since we are here only for eating and not have stayed. The food was really great. There are classic local cuisine in the normal and in the high level. Priced but it is absolutely ok. Who in Oberstdorf today should be here, time to go eat.

Praise: Really good food and beautiful rooms right in the place. Review: It was without explanation in another Vintage of the ordered white wine served too cold. Instead of the agreed lower offer price for the Five-course menu plus Overnight was the normal price. Conclusion: the home and food recommended organization with annoying defects.

Wonderful dining experience with delicious food. Try the risotto! The yodeling, being somewhat repetitive, is not half as annoying as you thought it would be and even adds to the flair of the evening. When overnighting: be sure to use the very extensive breakfast options spread across the restaurant (ham, brie and cheeses are in the back).

Delicious dining, friendly service and excellent yodeling. We are certainly no experts on the latter, but full marks on the other two counts nonetheless. Simple dishes prepared to perfection.

The atmosphere in the economy is very nice. The food is worth this price in any case something high-priced but. The service is always very friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. It's worth a visit.
