We always go to the German House to eat when we visit the family, and are always very satisfied. On weekends it is worth booking a table, as it is always very crowded here. The staff are all very nice and generally everything is well organized, although the restaurant is so large. Food is always very tasty; there are large portions and a super price-performance discount. In addition, free and enough parking spaces as well as a great view and also places to sit out.

I love going to the German house. The food is good bourgeois and tastes really good. Since the restaurant is booked almost continuously, it makes sense to book with several people in advance. What bothers me bit, through the many guests one often feels like in a canteen, due to the high noise level. Nevertheless all in all: recommended!

I've been here tens Of times for n dozen times. There was rarely an Exception. Otherwise everything is great. The Onion Rust Roast Was truly exceptional. The WI-FI leaves something to be desired. Breakfast is also very good. Only Comments … In two different Rooms it smelled funny (but I was never in the same time to know if it was an Isolated Incident or Coincidence).

Very good German cuisine. Complimentary best Swabian potato salad. Friendly, courteous service. Although we came to eat unregistered for primetime on Whit Sunday, we were still provided with places despite the very well visited guest room. For family celebrations, business or even too second/alone to be recommended at any time. Small farm shop integrated with domestic products.

Once again, a treat. We like to come here. Despite Sunday and Mother's Day, we got a nice place without a reservation with our family (8people). Staff very nice.

Our children always like it very much. Very friendly staff. Very good food. If you are on the road on the motorway, you should take a break here and try the Swabian treats.

I can't quite understand the good reputation of the restaurant. Yes, the meat quality is good, but the whole thing is made to mass clearance, nevertheless you pay the prices as in a small, traditional restaurant. Which leads to partly illogical prices. The onion roast with side salad, noodles and vegetables costs 4EUR more like a salad with beef fillet. But there are two pieces of meat in this, only one in the grate roast…

A great gastronomy for celebrations or seminar groups with overnight stay. The food is very plentiful and delicious. The rooms I find super nice. Great, clean and the view is Fantastic.

For many years, as a service traveller, I have been a very satisfied guest in the German house several times a year. Despite confirmed booking, no room was available at the time of Arrival. It is difficult to find an overnight stay during the Stuttgart Fair. Something like that can't happen. Nevertheless, I forgive a star for the immediate efforts of the staff to find an overnight stay. If I book again, I dare to doubt.

You should reserve, especially on weekends. The hotel I can't judge but the restaurant is very good. The service is always friendly. I had "Kaltenwanger duo", beef braised and pork roast with noodles. Hammer! And make sure to order the potato salad — at its finest.

We booked a room late in the evening, and had the luck to recieve a wonderful room (with an epic view)! The room and the employees were amazing, apart from that, the whole building was great! Good beer and wine, and in the morning a grand choice of breakfast! I would recommend this place to everyone! :)

As always, just delicious! The order for children will be considered. It comes before that for the adults. Portions more than plentiful! And we always had nice service forces!

Service was great, not much English is spoken. There is an English menu. Portion size is tremendous. All food is cooked perfectly with great seasoning. I was there for business and was introduced to the place the first night, went back 3 more times during the week due to its convenience and great food.

We keep watch for lunch this time Sunday 13 00 and admit get just such a table, it is completely full. The food you like always super, the same quality as if little guests can visit the restaurant. Food was very good but unfortunately the service to do this very badly. We were on 22 04. With 7 people with you to the food. We were yesterday (afternoon) for two guests in the German House. We have searched yet consistently warm cuisine restaurants in and around Weilheim in Google. The main entrance is not easy to find. We entered and hesitant was a young employee of the, we think employees table, on and welcomed us. We asked whether we us also for outdoor use are likely to. The answer was Yes. Unfortunately "Outside" was not so easy to find and so we wandered through the beautifully designed and decorated guest rooms. It would have been nice if has been explained to us the way or shown. Outside we found two menus and a basket. We chose our drinks and food. After 20 minutes was still an employee at us, I entered the guest rooms where young employees came to me again. I ask whether we would be served outside. Again, yes the answer was. Shortly after an employee came and took our order. Unfortunately, we waited then again far too long on the drinks so we got the salad to our main course, before the drinks. The food was then also quickly and tasted good. Unfortunately, no one came during the entire meal, to inquire after the taste of the food, nor to take a next drink order. After we were done with dinner no one came back, so I had to once again enter the guest rooms where the employee came forward. I ordered the Bill and asked about to pack up my remaining food. She came with the Bill and presented me a plastic container to the "self windproof" to do so.

Food was not really succeeded.

Steak was extremely through and not medium. Unfortunately, even with a piece of bone.
Pepper sauce was more tomato sauce with tomato pieces as with peppercorns garnish.
French fries very dry.
Price performance OK.

A great environment, especially the lake behind the house invites you to linger and offers so much in years. The food is very good and the portions big enough. The waitresses are usually in quite a good mood. It comes but every now and again on a less cheerful operation.

Very impressive ambience, decorated in a rustic country style successfully set the scene. The staff was very nice and we were very quickly served. We ordered us each a sirloin steak with French fries and a salad for 18, 90 Euro. The latter was quickly brought and tasted good too. Crisp and fresh, and good Dressing. Then came the sirloin steak. At first glance, a huge piece of meat. The taste of it was alright, quite tender, it was also. However, it was so full of Tendons and fat, that not even half of the meat was edible. We were both not tired of it. On the question of the waiter if everything was in order, we expressed our criticism. This then went to his boss happens to be at a neighboring pub sat. The only shrugged her shoulders. Our waiter apologized to us, offered us a coffee. The Chef came no response. Really very very weak of him. Due to this unacceptable behavior, we will probably not be there anymore, go out to eat.

I have never been so ill-served, the staff has no structure what is the use of the guests in terms of let alone know the staff the simplest of courtesies not! The meat was dry and the fries rock Hard! It is an impertinence for a bill less than half an hour of waiting and another 10 minutes that his own account is paid and not the other table!
