Super delicious asparagus enjoyed. Friendly attentive service.
Simply recommendable also and especially in Corona times.

Unfortunately, the main house is very old-fashioned. You feel like you are in the rooms like in the youth room of the 80s/90s. In the same way, the sport and wellness area can tolerate a renewal. Too bad, the staff is very friendly and competent. Breakfast is also ok. The underground car park, on the other hand, should only be used for smaller vehicles.

Really delicious dishes combined with very kind and nice employees. Recommendation for good dinners.

The hotel is awsome and the room was very clean and beautiful.

I was looking for an affordable place to stay at in Ludwigsburg over a weekend. The place is nice and clean, with a well equipped bathroom with a spacious shower and good services. The staff is approachable and eager to help. There certainly was not a need for a clean towel every night, but the hotel service opted to do so anyways. My poor knowledge of German did not proove as a significant communication barrier as everything was dealt with in English without major issues. The room includes breakfas buffet in the morning with a wide selection including hot meals like scrambled eggs.

You can sleep here much cheaper with an extra bed in a shared room. Staff was allways nice, bar was nice, buffet was nice and room was nice. Parkinggarage was a bit tricky with a big car but stil possible. All in all a good experience.

Not contemporary small bed. Advertised Sky availability was not given. Lax response: That would have been eh ' just a channel. Would be nice if advertising and performance were in tune. Breakfast and service were very good …

Basically good with reasonable Price-/performance ratio, but some Points are, in my Opinion, quite room for improvement.
1. It is not possible to Book an Online Website via the Website, if you do not want to go through well-known Booking platforms you have to request by E-mail and then book, which is anachronistic in 2018.
2. Nice Room, but a Full Glass Door to Bad/Toilette I personally do not consider to be particularly pleasant, even if it is not a Clear glass.
3. Balcony is nice, only then should the Weeds, which grow in the Joints and on the Edge of the Washcorn Slabs, be removed.
4. In the Room where you have breakfast, the Ceiling Cladding is extremely in need of renovation, every Ceiling slab is characterized by Cracks in the Wallpaper, somewhere east of the Original I would accept that, whereas in a German 4-Star Hotel that is absolutely Unacceptable.
Conclusion: On the Whole, still good, but the Weaknesses in the Detail are no longer visible In my Opinion, especially the damaged Ceiling in the Breakfast room leaves an extremely negative Aftertaste.

I spent three wonderful nights here in a comfort room at the Dependance in the summer of 2017. It has its own breakfast room and modern and well-appointed rooms. The front desk staff is extremely professional and gracious, as are the service staff in the small beer glut with food facilities, which can also be found in the branch.
In the main house there is the hotel restaurant, which can only be recommended. The service here was very friendly and trained.
There was an excellent little salmon statar as Amuse bouche, then a carpaccio of the papaya with coppa. The accompanying pesto was reminiscent of chimichurri and was excellent. To the point a fillet steak that zerged on the tongue. As a dessert, there was a Black Forest cherry tiramisù. Exceptionally good.
The restaurant was very well frequented, is neat set up, though perhaps a little old fashioned, which doesn't necessarily have to be a disadvantage.

Rooms in the new area are very nicely renovated and clean. Staff at reception very friendly. Breakfast good standard. Good value for money.

Yes Yes fair there we take €150 for the single room well and do not offer anything.
Breakfast so cereal fans will come at your expense.
Cornflakes guys not at all no point nothing.
Soft cheese eaters also find something but a simple butter cheese or Gouda also nothing.
Mhhh scrambled egg yes even fried eggs without salt yes that's it then…
Unfortunately, I don't eat salmon in three colors.
So I summarize room OK, bed well, shower shower needs a new sealing ring, TV available…
So if the price would be between 60 and €75. Would be worth the hotel a star more.
Best I found the shower the worst the breakfast…

In the summer of 2017 I spent three wonderful nights in a comfort room in the annexe. It has its own breakfast room as well as modern and well-equipped rooms. The reception staff is extremely professional and amiable, even in the small beer-drenched restaurant, which can also be found in the annex.
In the main house there is the hotel-restaurant, which can only be recommended further. Again, the service was augeprägt friendly and trained. There was an excellent little salmon tartar as an amuse bouche, followed by a carpaccio of the papaya with COPPA. The associated pesto was reminiscent of Chimichurri and was excellent. To the point a fillet steak that Zuungeed on the As a dessert there was a black Forest cherry tiramisu. Exceptionally good.
The restaurant was very well attended, is well maintained, though perhaps a little old fashioned, which doesn't necessarily have to be a disadvantage.

A comfortable place and super nice.

We have already eaten and celebrated reported in the Golden Plough. The food was always tasty and we felt very comfortable in the hospitable atmosphere. We can recommend the restaurant to anyone. Helmut Haerle.

Hotel more than 5 stars service top.

Nice restaurant, clean and well maintained furnished with ample space to the side tables. Food tasteful in order. Portions sufficiently large. Value for money is consistent. Unfortunately, the service is not always as present as it should be, although there was not so much going on. We sat in front of our empty plates for 20 minutes until you got bogged down and cleared. Neither was any of the service personnel interested in a desert-offer. At the end of the call, coffee could be ordered. So, there's still air up there. Otherwise we were satisfied and therefore like to come back occasionally.

A highly recommended Hotel and Restaurant. Very good Food and friendly Hospitality. We have been here many times and also overnight, Price Performance is perfectly fine. Pleasant Atmosphere.

Decent hotel for business travellers.

The food wasn't good. The meat was obviously from the convectomat and not fried. Even if you are stressed on a Christmas Day, you should not neglect your actually high quality standards. Then don't I prefer not to accept so many reservations?

Food was outstanding. Operation friendly and attentive. One can only recommend.

Food and service very good. The food was tasty, but the meat at the sponge plate was not as tender as it should be. But that doesn't detract from the whole thing, you don't always put it in it. I can definitely recommend the Golden Plough.

Solid for no reason to mecker. Clean rooms, decent bathroom and you can even work there. The staff are very accommodating and polite. This is where I like to get back there.

Very good and popular hotel and restaurant, underground car park, 5min to the highway but quietly located in residential area, very well prepared food, beer selection might be slightly larger, but is ok. Style minimal in the years, but 90s, but tasteful, large hall therefore also suitable for larger companies, very good and friendly service.

Great service and excellent food.

We had a good night in comfortable beds. However housekeeping came in on the day of our departure before the required checkout time and despite a do not disturb sign — without even knocking. And while the room was clean otherwise, we had a horrid smell in the bathroom until we flushed a both the syphons with some water (shower, bathtub) — not sure which of the ones had fallen dry.

Good hotel with suitable prices.

The Goldner Pflug (golden plow) is a fabulous place to stay! By far the best hotel we have stayed in in Germany. Rooms are large. ; beds are very comfortable; and the shower is fantastic. We have only had breakfast here so far but the selection is wonderful. I will try and post something after we experience the menu in the restaurant. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. We even had a few laughs. Everyone is given special attention. Definitely the place to stay when in Ludwigsburg.

Cozy and with a great bar/room service.

Clean and not expensive thanks to the nearby church and sports facilities can here an excellent man. Celebrate marriages and have no home to go man thanks to hotel ^^

Were, unfortunately, into the house next door to the races, which, although it is new but nivht as promising as the Mutterhotel. Actually too bad. The third star is for the Top operation in the dining room.

Food is super and the staff very friendly!

Expectations at the Golden plough were disappointed. I stayed a couple of weeks ago for a business meeting for 3 days here and was disappointed: For a 4 star Hotel was the equipment of the rooms to be outdated. Beds, floors, and cabinets were still in the 80s and very worn. The bathrooms were good, however, was the mirror barely lit, which is probably just for ladies is a Problem. With the most, I felt the constant noise. The Cleaners have me every Morning at 7 am, woken up (Yes, I had the luxury of had until 7:30 PM to sleep) by my front door in the hallway lärmten and every Morning the vacuum cleaner against the doors slammed. The noise went further, however: in the Haupträumen separate Seminar and function rooms, there was a great noise through the kitchen and storage rooms. This was very disturbing, because concentrated Work was hard. My company and I are no Nights or more events in the Golden plow book.

Super Hotel, Preisleistungstechnisch just top. Only the Breakfast is a bit of pressure made by the Service. So I've experienced.

We had three single rooms booked. The Hotel offers in this price range upscale décor with free Sauna, steam bath, Solarium and fitness room. The room had all about flat screen TV with Sky. Unfortunately, the difference in the room and especially the shower immensely, so that one of the three of us, a very small room with a narrow shower was referring to the other two very spacious rooms with spacious and walk-in shower. Here it would be on the part of the hotel management advantageous, joint bookings in as similar rooms to accommodate. The Breakfast was plentiful and freshly prepared. A star deduction is there for the ladies at the reception. During the Check in and Checkout he was not really welcome, no Smile and no warmth, very business-like handling. Here, there is pent-up demand, apart from a Top Hotel.

My work brings me to Ludwigsburg two to three times a year for several weeks each time. This is my second time staying at the Goldener Pflug in Ludwigsburg. Honestly the rooms are nice; Clean and comfortable. But due to the age of the Hotel the walls are not so sound proof. I can hear the screeching of chairs elsewhere and even when my windows are shut and the metal blinds are closed I can still hear voices and cars in the street outside. And the Hotel bar is on the street side of the Building; So when people step outside to have a cigarette day and VERY LATE into the night it can be very loud. I definitely prefer the NH Hotel or the Nestor; They both are more convenient to the downtown area and much quieter environment. Its a significant walk to town from the Goldener Pflug to any shops or sightseeing of any kind. That being said (normally further away from the city hustle and bustle is better) I'm very surprised at the noise in and around this Hotel. I think because of the small streets that the close buildings just act as a amplifier. Both times that I have stayed here I have been placed on the side of the hotel facing the very noisy street. I have asked to be moved to the other side of the Hotel and the receptionists took a "very quick" glance at his monitor and said "no this is not possible" I would have thought that they could better accommodate someone who is staying at their hotel for three weeks!

The food, whether Breakfast or lunch is excellent and plentiful. Only the single rooms are very small and some with non-functioning TV sets. But otherwise, the room is in a very clean and high excellent condition.
