A wonderful house right on the water. The rooms are nice, the bathrooms big, the restaurant delicious and the people who take care of us guests seem to love their work, so warm and caring they were. We were just there with the women's network Desperate Workwives and enjoyed the stay very much.

Friendly staff.

Very nice friends of nature house, located directly on the lake. You can drink a good meal or just a beer. The large lawn on the lakeside invites to linger and you can take a shower after bathing. Only the shallow entrance to the lake is a bit disturbing, because you have to, at least, is to run 50m to the water on the navel, and in the silt. So, rubber boat or air mattress and the bath pass, nothing more stands to bring.

Good actions and ways to do something. The lake is full of algae, and therefore a little uncomfortable when you walk into it. The rooms are a bit nasty, since in almost every corner of the huge spiders and other insects that infest. The Buffet is in order and there is a choice that is appropriate. The place overall is large enough and there is plenty of space for football games or any other employment. The staff is in order.

Dishes are creative and tasty, small menu, salad variations would be desirable, also the drinks are varied… only the opening Hours of the kitchen : a random. We are closed hazards within a month 3 times over and stood in front of the sign for "kitchen early" or "closed society". It would be nice if you would inform on the Homepage on what days is not opened, then you could save the way — we don't always think to call in advance, if open.

Great location for our family vacation! Delightfully uncomplicated with the lake and Playground at the house. The highlight is the gastronomy. Cool Terrace. Really tasty food from the map (great Burger) and also the HP. The selection is small but fine. The Breakfast, however, (with any Form of eggs, we have really missed, and the buns were nothing) but still ok. The rooms absolutely sufficient, if simply! Also had in the main house, a sleeping gallery for the kids. No TV in the room was known to us! Nevertheless, a challenge but it was still so entertaining here that we will be back!

Long waits. Price performance is not right! And it didn't even taste for the money … But especially since you were lucky if you got something else! Many products as well as drinks are out of stock and soon "sold out"! It just fails because of a homemade lemonade! Expected more! terrifying!

We stayed in the tent but booked half board. The breakfast buffet is awesome. Unfortunately, in the morning there is only one person to fill up etc. Present. However, the staff is friendly throughout. Dinner (also in the form of a buffet) is delicious. However, it would be nice if alternatives were offered for children. The terrain is super beautiful and clean. We'll definitely be back.

Beautiful location right on the beach from Lake Constance … direct access with lawn lawn … we had rooms with views to the lake. Food was fine … Breakfast as well … Rooms without TV. Whether the other rooms have TV I don't know … Railways run right past the hotel if anyone is bothered … We had no problems with it … we can recommend the hotel further. Were a night there without a reservation … Was fully booked.

Beautiful location right by the lake. From Radolfzell and Constance can also be reached very well by bike. The nature lover's house offers good, fresh food with local produce as well as homemade limo and iced tea. A great deal of emphasis is placed on sustainability.
On the meadow of the nature lover's house directly on the beautiful Lake Constance, you can lie for free, sunbathe, rest and take a refreshing dip in the lake. There is also an outdoor shower and a toilet.
Ideal for families who want to take a bike ride, or just want to hop into the lake like that.

Have celebrated the child's birthday today! It was great the kids had a lot of fun! The highlight was of course the campfire. All super nice, we will definitely go there again.

The location of the nature lover's house is, of course, unbeatable. But you can also eat well here. It tasted very good to us and the quality was right. Unfortunately, there was only one operation, so we had to wait longer. For that, however, we were served very kindly.

Probably not the best time to go there. I was here early season one of the first warm days of the year. Totally chaos in the resturant. But water and the place outside was perfect. Hugh playground for kids.

Good alternative to the usual beach baths. Manageable meadow, small jetty, great swimming facilities and a restaurant with a large sun terrace. The food I find delicious and the location perfect.

I stayed at NaturFreundehaus Bodensee in July 2017, so in the German summer time. The staff and management are fantastic people. The meals are delicious, the scenery in amazing, and Markelfingen train station is a short walk along a safe walking/bike path, which gives easy and quick access to other towns around Konstanz and Swiss towns such as Schaffhausen to see Rhine Falls.

A cosy lakeside restaurant overlooking Mettmau, a "cuddly" menu but relatively great delicious regional dishes.
Recommended is the beef roulade (which I tried ice)
Priced for constancous ratio perfectly fine.

Location with excellent views, access directly to the lake, beautiful sun terrace and good food.

Very nice terrace overlooking the lake. Small but fine menu. Adequate prices. You can also stay here. A very nice bathing beach and a boat rental complete the offer. Ideal as an between — or final destination of a bike excursion. But you can also come by car and park there for free.

Total view, super veggie burgers (but also the cheese pätzle were delicious) and the great is the child-friendly equipment with play corner (in bad weather) and super playground (in nice weather).

In the course of our wedding celebration, we have rented two days, the friends of nature house for us and our guests. It was a perfect weekend for us and the super friendly staff, the great location of the friends of nature house and the perfect Organisation contributed to a great extent. Thank you very much, and the friends of nature house more recommend. We will come back.

In itself it is a nice hostel with wonderful views of the lake
But there are too many spiders in and on the building.
One should probably expect at such a great house that someone will remove the nets and also the animals.
We had a group in the main house and one in the house if the adjoining house is neglected: well OK but even at the reception? That was too much.
Even in the dining room (disgusting! )

There is hardly any peace here, since the House of Friends is a pilgrimage site for Waldorf classes.

Stunning setting right on the Lake. Superb restaurant and the staff could not have been nicer. I look forward to returning here!

Directly at the lake constance. Beautifil view, nice Restaurant, friendly service. You can rent boats as well. I can recommend the Naturfreundehaus.

The NaturFreundehaus Bodensee is located in Markelfingen and is right by the lake. On a sunny day (especially when school holidays are taking place) it can become quite full, so I would recommend you come with a bike or so. The parking lot can become quite full. The NaturFreundehaus offers two big houses to rent for parties and events, one for bigger groups and one for smaller groups. Their service is exceptional (from what I've experienced) and the staff is very friendly. I can really recommend having an event or spending a nice day here. It is quite beautiful.

Were there yesterday. Finally a lawn for sunbathing and swimming area where we also our dog were allowed to take. Great manicured lawn and super friendly operators. Thank you very much, really liked us Ruth Steves in Mönchengladbach.

You had to wait unfortunately long for his drink even though nothing was going on. The view of the Lake makes that but again well :)

We spent a wonderful week. Team friendly, food good and plentiful, rooms ok. Good starting point for trips around the Lake.

The location is beautiful, great views of the lake. In terms of personnel, I have experienced significant differences, once as the lady, in spite of repeatedly reading aloud not knowing what I meant and, therefore, the false write wanted, I showed it to her, in the meantime, tip of the ballpoint pen. The lady was upset, as she believed, I would tickle around the map. Good seasonal dishes,
Location unfortunately directly at the railway line, therefore sometimes a little louder. Beautiful Swimming Spot.

Mit einer Gruppe von 40 Personen im Restaurant zum essen. Das Servicepersonal war zwar freundlich, wusste aber nicht was für Speisen sie raustragen, so dass mehrfach essen zurückgegangen sind. Obwohl Salatbuffet bestellt wurde, kamen nur kleine vorgerichtete Tellerchen (zum Preis eines Salatbuffets nicht aktzeptabel) als Krönung des Ganzen befand sich im Salat ein Fingernagel. Die Suppe war versalzen und das Kinderessen zwar reichlich, aber eine lieblos hingeklatschte Portion ohne Geschmack. Fazit: als Einzelperson sicherlich empfehlenswert, aber mit einer Gruppe waren Sie vollkommen überfordert.

The Naturfreundehaus is situated in a beautiful location directly on Lake Constance. For nature lovers is an or others now think in 'sprightly pensioners', but appearances are deceiving: the House is in good condition and can by individuals as well as be used by large groups. Guided canoe tour or wedding celebration with Lake access — much is possible. But most it is just a piece of cake and the cup coffee, but also worth a trip here.

The views, the ambience and the rooms are very nice.
Everything is very child-friendly designed and the staff knows not only good in all its activities, but is ready for a few funny jokes along the way too.
I would come at any time.

The house is very nice. Requests to the staff are, unfortunately, ignored in part. In our case, it was soiled linen. A ceiling has created a remedy. Staffing problems have also led to a poor management in the area. In times of Need, you can reserve it. Before that, however, prefer to look around. The offer is quite large there.

The stay was excellent. But, there are problems when the invoice because the House's refusal to provide a detailed invoice. So you sit on the cost of the accommodation. The pay stations of countries can not reimburse expenses without this breakdown. Therefore, I advise this House, which is really excellent, yet avoiding for a school trip.

Super rooms, with great views. Child-friendly, great family holiday in the autumn possible.

Idyllic, almost unparalleled. Friendly waiters. Attractive price. The rest just flawed. It is little more than a hostel. Ants in the room, not automatically changed the towels (maybe you had to ask and have them give!? ), just 10 meters from the railway, the hygiene at the tables and dishes for breakfast and any dinner left much to be desired. There is no wi fi even if the peddle. I wouldn't go back.

Holiday with children is just great. The Beach House, the lawn, the child-friendly House…
The rooms have a good standard, half-board with great breakfast (including 6-8 different quarks and yogurt), delicious dinner (2 dishes, vegetarian and meat) and that complete an additional menu with really tasty dishes. The service is affectionately, at peak hours, it will sometimes just tight. Cheap but not cheap for Lake Constance.
We keep coming back.
