Family friendly, cosy, charming, large garden with large children's playground, nicely located, super nice operator, great beer garden, great breakfast — here you have to feel good.

Home of high quality, quiet hotel and quiet, spacious room, bedding, good quality, deco good taste, very clean, small terrace (for smokers), bathroom well equipped and of good quality, breakfast was exceptional, the restaurant really in the face of the hotel for a good dinner without wasting time.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel this past week. A spacious family room with 2 separate bedrooms and a balcony facing south to soak up the last of the sunshine. Breakfast was great with a wide variety of breakfast items, served from 7.30 am onwards for the early birds, perfect for ski-eager kids. Ricardo and Wolfgang are friendly hosts willing to help with any query. We loved it!

The owners as well as the staff and the hotel itself are worth more than just a holiday.
Professionally managed and adapted to all the wishes of the guests.
The rooms are absolutely clean. Warm, spacious and well equipped.
The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired and the staff is super friendly and very accommodating.
The owners of the hotel understand and love your work and run the hotel great.

are thrilled and will definitely come back to The Hochfirst Saig.
Ideal location for all activities around the Black Forest and Saig itself is highly recommended.
Conclusion : Again and again gladly and the departure was very difficult for us.

This hotel is at Great spot — 7 min from Titisee and all the attraction. We also received the Red card! which give access for great attractions for free. The Breakfast was perfect 3 kinds of eggs, cheese, Jems and breads. The staff — Ricardo & Wolfgang was kind and helpful with every request.

The Hochfirst Hotel was above and beyond our expectation, the owner was helpful and kind. They try to assist in any of our needs. The Hotel near the Tettisi lake and all of the red card attractions. We had great time there as a family two adults and 2 kids.

A hotel with charm. A star deduction only for the fact that something could be done here and there and the Wi-Fi was available but not usable. Cleanliness, friendliness, the efforts of the staff and the breakfast buffet have actually earned 10 stars! Overall we were very satisfied with the hotel. Clear recommendation from us (2 adults, 2 children from 12 years).

We were at the hotel for 9 nights and had a great time, starting from the owners that were wonderful from the beginning, during the ordering any question was answered with full details through the stay, also any request and question was answered right away with a smile, The rooms were clean and comfortable, Breakfast was good, Location is just 10 min driving from Titisee lake, The red card is a great advantage which you receive as a part of you deal with the hotel, keep the good work Wolfgang ans Ricardo!

From the reception to the departure we have experienced a very pleasant hospitality. Great breakfast with reserved tables. Clean, quiet rooms. Free parking behind the hotel.

Great reception (in French), the staff is very nice and small care. Easily gives advice and ideas for visits. The hotel and the room very clean and breakfast very well stocked.
The little snag the room a little small and the bathroom too. But enough for a night or two. And the setting is beautiful in the German mountains.

My family and I stayed at the Easter weekend hotel. Very courteous staff in all respects. In our room we had a box-spring bed which was large and comfortable. All rooms (including bathroom) were extremely clean and homely furnished. Simply put, a cosy ambiance, no matter if in the hotel room, in the dining room or lounge… we felt comfortable. A pity was only that the swimming pool could not be used for the existing sauna, otherwise everything else top.

The hotel is located in a pastoral quiet village, but close enough to nature paths as well as a lot of "attractions". but above all, it is family-like, friendly, personal, attentive, clean and helpful. All the staff and esp. The owners were super nice. If we were to go back to that area, we would definitely want to go back to this hotel.

Sheer pleasure. Definitely one of the best places I stayed in. I was there with my wife and 2 kids, together with 2 other families of friends. Ricardo and Wolfgang (Our hosts) were very welcoming and willing to help. The place is super clean and sits in a small nice village very close to lake Titisee. The hotel also give the red card which grants free access to dozens of attractions and site. I strongly recommend.

Very good hotel in quiet to relax and 10 min from Baden Paradise and very interesting with the map for activities good reception and clean and very nice maisonette for the family 2 adults and 2 children (bed a little small for a big teenager of 1m 83) lunch very well and Reasonable price and very welcoming staff.

Great location (10 min drive from Titisee lake, yet in a quite and peaceful place), very nice rooms (especially the ones with the balcony), good breakfast and great staff (very helpful, kind and polite). Also, if you stay 2+ night you receive the schwarzwaldcard, which gives you free admission to many different sites (coasters, boat tours, etc. ) + discounts at other sites outside the area.

Nothing to say, everything was perfect: the reception (in French in addition! ), the room, the breakfast. We'll be back!

A very nice Gasthaus the two managers Wolfgang and Riccardo very nice and professional. We stayed one night in a beautiful room with a nice bathroom. Great breakfast in the morning products of the place. And then what to say are located in a fairytale place. We would have loved to spend more days.

A very nice hotel and managers with little care. The rooms are quiet, the breakfast delicious. Saig is a very quiet little village where it is good to put it to the green. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We were two elderly couples and stayed 7 nights. The place is clean, beautiful and very friendly, breakfast was rich and delicious. Excellent service is courteous and quick ratio just lovely people. Excellent location 5 minutes from Lake Titisee. In addition, we received the Hochschwarzwald card gives free entries to certain facilities.

Really great place nicely located with a good breakfast. The business owners who run the place by themselves are most kind, helpful and joyful as well. I highly recommend the place which is indeed a sweet cherry in the black forest hotel cake.

Very friendly welcoming, personal hotel that strives to speak Spanish. Very helpful. The free tourist card is an excellent idea. Highly recommended.

I stayed four nights with a 6 — year old and 11-year old. It was clean, pretty and friendly with a great breakfast and service. We enjoyed the easy drive-up and parking at the hotel — no steep narrow driveway to slide on in snow. We really liked and used the board games in the lovely big and cosy games room very much — it wasn't the typical sparsely furnished games room but had cosy lighting, books and comfy arm chairs and a fireplace (not lit on our visit though). Best: 1. In the Hotel Garni I didn't feel different or odd checking in and staying without my partner, as there were various small groups at breakfast with and without kids. In the "Familotel", "Kinderhotel" and many family all inclusives everyone is with kids and there is virtually nobody without their partner and/or grownup family, so it can feel lonely. 2. The Schwarzwaldcard is included and gives free use of all ski lifts for miles including the Feldberg, 1.5 hrs free swimming at the amazing pool with 20 or so slides, wave pool and separate grown-up "beach" in Titisee (Badeparadies Schwarzwald), plus small discounts on ski hire, etc. Wishes: I was surprised at the filter coffee, it was a little old-fashioned, but maybe they also have espresso or stronger coffee — we were off early to ski early in the mornings so I actually never bothered to ask.

This is a very nice hotel, located in the middle of the Black Forest near the Titisee, where all kinds of excursions are possible. Staff was friendly, kind and very cooperative. We got trip suggestions and optional ones based on the weather condition which were really excellent Rooms were clean, quite large and well equipped. Good breakfast, and delicious dinner with a wide range of options. Our granddaughter who has celiac syndrome was treated with the warmest attitude in the dining room. Really recommended for travelling around in the area. Stayed June 2014, traveled with family.

Very nice place. Good Location. Great Breakfest. Lovely People and High level of Customer Service. I wished for some facilities to exist on premise — such as a Billiard Room, Trampoline for the Kids, Bycicle Rental option, Nordic Sticks or somethings alike to be able to bring this experience to its highest levels. Overall I highly recommend.

Goods often from a hotel so disappointed. The advertised hospitality was not noticeable. Boss was artificially friendly, lacked Mugi even the rest family can not greet also any personal address, apart from that. Because the hotel about noon (and this in the main season) until 18:00 is closed, despite the advertising for home-made strudel or cakes on the terrace or in the beer garden is the Hochfirst except from the dinner is rather a night bed and breakfast. Even the written offer of an early breakfast (breakfast is from 8 to 10 P. M. Should they need to even earlier!, just the day before login) could not be granted us (we asked due to an 8 pm clinic appointment in Freiburg, provide breakfast for 7: 00). Head range: Is covered at 7:30, then it would be possible. That's it I guess.
