We stayed a second time in the Oxhotel. Rooms are very nice and spacious. I would recommend if you book to ask for rooms at the front of the hotel since the rooms at the back are situated above the kitchen and there can be some noise during the night and morning especially if you have the windows open as we had Friday evening. Dinner was lovely and this time outside. Breakfast was a little messy with lots of orders that didn’t arrive or very late. As this is Corona time with changed procedures, we hope it was due to that. Otherwise — pleasant as ever and a sure recommendation.

Yesterday "in times of Corona" eaten there. The tables are set accordingly. Each guest has to disinfect his hands at the beginning and after each guest tables/chairs are properly disinfected. The staff was friendly and already served with masks completely routine. A well-rehearsed team! By barcode you get the card directly to the mobile phone. Everything else looks like always: very delicious eaten! Flammkuchen, Schnitzel, Salat (for two!

Super Service, very tasty.

Great restaurant in old-modern facilities and extensive menu. There's something for everyone! In summer, it is ideal to sit under the chestnut trees.

Ambitious started a few years ago. Still very nice place to sit. Unfortunately, that was it. Food very average and the level very different. When you order a salad, you never know what you're getting. May be crisp. Just as well but also muddy. Service often a disaster. Very bad!

Only provide feedback on the restaurant. Had to sit inside as it was raining. Service friendly but basic, on 4 dishes, they got 3 wrong.

Delicious food at fair prices. The choice of food is plentiful and the portions are very large. The staff are mainly obviously temporary staff. Partly there is a lack of knowledge of German (the word dessert was not recognized, the value of dessert was the understanding there) and I noticed a mis-booking on the invoice (cream to the ice cream was calculated twice). The card payment failed twice because there was not enough paper in the reader. This was jokingly overplayed by the staff with the words "now we just book three times". And all this happened together during a visit. Very bad.

Okay for a quick dinner without great expectations. Beetroot risotto with goat cheese was good but far away from spectacular. My husband had Züricher sliced — if that was not completely convenience products…

The restaurant is clearly my favorite. Very tasty food at very reasonable prices. The choice of dishes is plentiful and the portions are very large. The staff is very friendly, competent and attentive. The lunch table during the week is very cheap and diverse. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone.

"The customer comes last" would fit here, perhaps very aptly as a slogan.
That the menu of the day against 13: 00 is "allegedly" had sold out, is itself already weak, can happen Yes but time.
But not, is approx. Half an hour later to see an obvious Angestellten in as he set menu eat that shortly before was allegedly still sold out. If the food for themselves should allocate the employees you but believe that they are at least as smart's back to eat in the kitchen. In this case but not the employee was directly at the neighbouring table and still loudly of them raved about how good it tasted.
Actually pity because I've come so far always like to here but as a service where you get obviously only the remains of the employees as a customer then but the appetite passes one.

We have searched a restaurant for a birthday breakfast on Sunday morning in spontaneously and are struck in the ox. Looks very chic, ample parking directly in front of the House, the prices okay, the portions are good and very tasty — only service is a small gamble. The majority of service personnel is top, but some employees seem rather slow and listless. All in all but a recommended restaurant!

The experience is limited to breakfast and that was very tasty, though a little took until we got the food, but paid off it nevertheless has become.

The restaurant is a nice mix between traditional and modern, the menu offers good regional and national choices. I had the veal cordon bleu quick tasted quite nice, however was a bit burned and the service and kitchen, even though very friendly, were pretty slow.

Caution customer threatens with the order, hope what to get, I may pay more in demand. No one is responsible. Keep it up.

The conclusion after many Visits to the "ox": decent value for money, decent kitchen, Seating and acoustics inside, not necessarily comfortably, but in the summer a delightful open-air café under the old trees to relax. Thicker Downer is the Service. In a rather youthful clientele tailored restaurant awaits you as a guest, although not impeccable professionalism, but at least attention and kindness. Here we have the mostly very young, and frequently changing Service or temporary workers, unfortunately, a Downward trend is observed. The management would be well advised to accept this aspect before even more customers as we get annoyed decide, the ox in the future to avoid it. If four service staff (three of them idle) in an almost empty Restaurant, not even so much Initiative to raise the guest for at least a menu to offer, this speaks volumes unfortunately.

Okay, just expensive in my opinion.

Business, I am very much, even traveling abroad this special Hotel to me, however, a brief comment value. The combination of Traditional and Modern in Design, everything is very solid run. The friendliness and professionalism of sufficient personnel. A few small, but fresh and very tasty prepared dishes at a reasonable price. Also, the wine list is very good, from a private super white wine cuvée Called oxler up to the Italian red wine and I was told Plans the Patron a large International wine list and a small wine cellar, because I'm looking forward to the next visit in the Region.

Can the bad reviews by some people here absolutely do not understand! We come from the area and we like to go and often in the Ox to eat. The food is super tasty, prices are OK and the staff very friendly. Also, the Ox is very child friendly, there are some children's meals and plenty of books and toys.
