We've had the pleasure many times. The kitchen is excellent and the service so far always great. Dogs are always welcome and are also supplied with sufficient liquid food. The prices are up, but it's worth it.

Great altbürgerliches ambiance. The grate roast is great and the Newmarketer beer is one of the best! The room was clean and cozy. The service was just as great.

Great! We were able to arrive in spite of the rest of the guesthouse and were equally delighted: a beautiful room, great facilities. Ecological and sustainable things are valued here. The food in the restaurant was outstanding: all in organic quality and very tastefully cooked. Since we are vegetarians, it is not a matter of course that a selection of dishes is offered on the menu. Everything is just right here. Highly recommended!

Stayed here 2 nights. And dined here 2 nights. Simply lovely place to stay, very hospitable, attention to detail, clean and confortable. Driving around the area we found there are 3x Gasthof Adler so my only guess for the one poor review is they are referring to another location. This one is in the tiny town of Tennenbronn. About 1 hour east of Freiburg. And close to some of the best roads with scenic views in the Black Forest. Be it dining or lodging, we plan on coming here every time we travel to this area from now on. Uses locally sourced ingredients in the kitchen. All organic items. Listed in Michelin and Slow Food guides for Germany which represents how well they are respected. Highly recommend.

My husband and I visit the Adler in Tennenbronn regularly to dine and unwind.
What we appreciate Eagles at the Inn:
-the respectful attitude towards nature,
-the family atmosphere,
-the excellent organic cuisine at a really cheap price,
-the courteous, friendly service,
-fair prices for the rooms
-the large bathtub (we us always in the suite rent),
-Hiking trails in the immediate vicinity
For us, the Inn is an insider's tip. A good hotel at a good price and fantastic & high-quality food. We are regulars.

The best restaurant we have ever been, with a talented chef who composes from healthy, delicious and fresh organic ingredients.

We were with 2 babies there. Super attentive Service and very tasty food. All regional and organic and also imaginatively prepared and served. Fine cuisine, but always with the claim of down-to-earth to be! Like I'll come back soon.

This restaurant serves biological food and that's why it was selected. The hostess was very nice and the food was good. Worth while to come back again!

We were 2 families with 5 children. The table was already somewhat separated; covered with Kinderservietten, high chairs stood in a suitable number and a Spielzeugbox awaited the children. Such a reception, we found the top! The Service lady was exceptionally attentive and very friendly. Our (z. T. Noisy) children, they seemed not to nerves and we had the peace of mind the food to really enjoy it. Start with bread and a tomato/red pepper Butter was delicious. The different dishes we had tasted round and balanced. The veal was incredibly tender and fine. All around, we felt our various meals as very tasty and fine-tuned. The pricing, we felt completely in tune and not too expensive. Conclusion: here we go definitely again and can absolutely recommend it.
