We had dinner as a couple. Excellent quality of raw materials, all at km 0. Typical and particular dishes. Good value for money.

Super inn with friendly staff and modern rooms. Oh and the food tastes great.

Very fine local cuisine with regional and seasonal impact. Very friendly service and lovely renovated, clean rooms in country house style. Highly recommended.

We went to dinner at the restaurant. The service is fast and friendly, the beverage selection is OK. The food is excellent, both the sour roast and the schnitzel in mushroom cream sauce could convince. The restaurant is elegantly prepared and you can feel at ease in the pleasantly lit lounge.

We were there as a family with our dog for 2 nights.
When we went to the inn came in, everything looked pretty quaint… the more surprised we were from our room. A very spacious and modern room. Just gorgeous. A huge bathroom and everything super clean the service was very accommodating and it makes every effort to make sure that each guest is well. We would love to come back.

Fine cuisine with a large share of products from the region. However, there are also classic "rich-doers" of Baden cuisine.
A reservation may be useful on weekends and public holidays.

Fine game Specialties and a friendly and diligent team!

I stayed with a group four motorcyclist to explore the stunning scenery and enjoy the winding roads of the Black Forest. The Gasthof was perfect for our purpose with locked secure parking and an English speaking motorcycle enthusiast hotel owner who provided advice on routes to ride. The hotel is run to a high standard with very comfortable double and single rooms. The usual continental breakfast was supplied and the evening meal was as good as any high standard restaurant that I have experienced. The only downside that I can think of is that there are two quiet days in the week when evening meals are not available and you might have difficulty finding anyone around should you need anything during the day. This wasn't a problem for us and there are places in the town to eat out. I would thoroughly recommend this Gasthof for families, groups and singles alike.

For end of March 2013, I had to organize a 80 years birthday from a great distance. As guests arrived partially from other federal countries, was to provide for overnight stays. One of the lasting memories is always eating. To enter in this respect there is no risk I've read me well 2 days by all reviews within a radius of 30 km. Due to the positive reviews, the participation of chef and owner Michael Meßmer at the "SWR1 au", the organised wild herb walks, as well as the almost 200th family tradition I decided for the Linde in Löffingen. Rightly. The Festival was a great success. The multi-course menu taste Fireworks, especially the veal kidney. The 3 large rooms (15, 16, and 17) on the rear of the Guest House were ideal for older guests with mobility problems. They are available directly from the car yard access in just a few steps without steps. At the rich breakfast buffet, my favorites were the Black Forest Bacon and the fruit salad from fresh fruit. The final bill was a positive surprise. This positive experience moved me to organise the family meeting in early November in the lime-tree. Again to your complete satisfaction. Yet something more to eat. On the Sunday before the Epiphany, I was once again in the lime-tree with the family for lunch and could try all 4 food.

On the way back from a trip to Mainau, here dinner. Food was good and the portions large. Operation was friendly, normal price. Can I only recommend!
